Just put this together yesterday and it seems like a great quality platform bed. Feels very sturdy too. The only thing that could make this bed better is if the headboard was a little higher. With the bed made and two pillows on it you don’t see a lot of the headboard.

Decent bed if you assemble carefully, and not have to deal with Zinus warranty
The bed material is good and the instructions are well laid out. It is also well packaged. However:1. The color in real life is quite darker than all of the images in the listing.2. Be careful assembling. Tightening when screws and bolts are not perfectly aligned can strip the threads or worse, pull the nuts out of the holes they have been pre-set in. I am an experienced assembler and for a few screws, I had to gently use additional tools to adjust the nut that Zinus had preassembled prior to tightening the screws, thereby avoiding a potential disaster.3. My headboard arrived with a defect. It looked like a significant gash in one of the wood panels. The packaging was not damaged, so it can only be poor quality control. After weeks of back and forth emails with Zinus, and them promising to replace my headboard, I had to settle on a measly 15% refund as compensation. I told them multiple times that I was not interested in a monetary compensation but all they kept doing was buying time and coming back with a higher percentage. In the end, I got sick of the back and forth and settled for the money.All in all a good bed, if you don’t have to deal with Zinus. Just be careful assembling and keep in mind that it is a dark brown in real life.

This bedframe is solid/sturdy. Instructions and assembly was so easy (almost dummy proof). All pieces were well packaged and the tools that came with it, was extremely handy. It would have been nice if the mattress sat inside the frame. Since we have a new mattress and is rotating it, the adhesiveness on the slats eventually wears off.

HI all! Was a bit anxious when I placed the order after reading reviews about missing/unmatched parts and overall quality. Got it yesterday and it was a breeze to assemble. Came intact and no damage/blemish of any kind. Seems pretty sturdy, all parts were a perfect fit and orderly labeled. It even came with spare parts. Slept on it(alone) last night and have nothing to complain about. I hope it passes the test with two people on it. The instruction manual had a QR code for an instructional video. Both on point. Sorry to hear that the 5% of 1,2,3 stars reviewers didn’t have the same experience I had. There’s always a bad batch even now and then but, mine was the good one which I’m led to believe is the company’s standard.

I was SO on the fence about buying a frame from Amazon…But since it was just going to be for our guest room, I found this one.There were a few discouraging reviews, but I ordered it anyway – and I’m so glad!For the price (I got it for under $300) it is an incredible deal.Not only is it nice looking, but it is very sturdy.Also – very easy to build.I am picky.Trust me.

This bed is exactly what we wanted when we decided to upgrade to a king and redesign our room. This is a king pictured but for now we used our old queen size comforter. It was easy to assemble and done very quickly. This is our 2nd Zinus bed and I love their designs. This is a good quality bed. The wood looks only very slightly manufactured but still has that farmhouse look. I only wish I had considered the headboard would not show after adding the bedding. We used (2) 12 inch deep twin xl mattresses. You can see from the pic not much shows after you add pillows.NOTE: Make note of measurements!!! This bed frame is only 75.6″ wide. Most twin xl’s (2) or king mattress are actually 76″ or (2×38″) be sure to watch the measurements of your mattress. Foam seem to be a little narrower. Our hybrid mattresses ended up being over 40″ wide after opening. It was too late to return the frame so the cheapest option was to modify the bed. We added (2) 2×6 board to each side and stained them with Walnut stain. Then added more feet (not pictured) and stained them with Kona stain.I rated the sturdiness a 3 only because it is a simple construction and not a floor platform bed. I do believe it would support a mattress and 2 adults weighing less than 400lbs combined. Also FYI- I dont think it would be wide enough to support adjustable bed frames within, but again measure carefully.
