Easy to assemble and SOLID
I actually bought this box spring because my dog is getting older and has issues jumping up on the bed. I’ve heard about the stairs for dogs but i thought that a lower box spring might do the job. Was i ever surprised to see it come in a box so narrow. I thought that it would be difficult to put together. It was perhaps one of the most easy things to put together and on top of that, it also included a ratchet to tighten the screws! That ratchet was the most handiest tool to use. I loved it.I was really surprised, once put together, how solid it was. My bed no longer squeaks, and well, it did not bother me before, but now i notice the no squeaks. I also have wrapped in the cover that came with it. You just slip it in the cover and zip it! So easy!Not only did it accomplish my goal of having the bed lower for the dog, but it also surprised me with it’s solidness and ease of assembly. I did not realize that I would like it so much and now wonder why I did not get one earlier.A final note which should be mentioned. I have put together many new things lately and they seem to be just thrown together in the box and instructions are not clear. It is like they don’t care about you once you buy the product. NOT in this case. I feel like the company went beyond to make sure that you would like their product. Easy to read instructions, a separate ratchet, and everything placed in the box with care. I was impressed. Definitely worth the investment and I’m speaking as someone that did not even know that she needed a new box spring, until she got one!

High Quality Foundation
This is a great foundation. I bought a new mattress from a warehouse store and it was really thick – 14″. My significant other couldn’t get up on the bed with the existing foundation, and finding a narrow one locally was impossible. This one is 4″ thick and fits the bill perfectly. While you have to assemble it, the pieces are very well made, the instructions are clear and simple, and it comes with a nifty little ratcheting allen key that makes assembly a breeze. Because room was tight, I actually assembled it right on the bed frame, which was no problem. The only thing I did differently than the instructions was to flip the frame and stretch the cover over the top, and then flip it back and zip the thing up, no problem. I did it all by myself. My spouse can now get back into bed without a ladder, so she’s pretty happy. No one solicited this review, I just think it’s a really good product. And Amazon delivered it four days early, thanks Amazon! Check out the pics!

Very happy with this product
I ordered and it came to my door 3 days later. The box is quite heavy but I managed to get it from my front deck to the bedroom on my own. (I am 62 years old). I assembled it on my solid platform bed in under an hour. It went together easily, had good directions, and is very sturdy. I bought this because I also ordered a foam mattress in a box and it needs to have some air flow under it. Very happy with this box spring.

AMAZING
Such an amazing product. Took me about 20 minutes to put together, didnât even need the instructions itâs that easy lol. It even comes with an Allen key ratchet to make it as easy as possible to assemble. Very very sturdy and makes zero noise. I have it placed on a carpet floor, but it comes with non slip pads to attach to the bottom if you have hardwood and donât want the frame to slide around. On top I have a box spring and then a mattress. Which makes this the perfect set up. Carpet floor-frame-box spring-mattress. Super sturdy and makes zero noise. I would 100% buy again.It also comes with a cover for the frame if you donât like the look of the Frame.

Easy to assemble, simple bed base
It’s very easy to assemble. It took me less than 30 minutes.The manual was very straightforward, and each part was numbered.The product pictures on Amazon can be confusing.I was looking for a simple platform bed, so this was perfect for me.This bed base has NO legs, just a simple metal bed base. The cover was purple.I recommend using a mattress thicker than 8 inches, so you won’t feel the metal bed base on your back.Overall, I am very happy with my purchase!

All mattresses need good support, and this box spring by Zinus definitely provides that, what makes it better is it’s metal so there’s nothing to bend or sag over time like wood often does, it’s wonderfully quick and easy to assemble, it makes no noise when you move around in bed, and what’s most important is the close spacing of the slats across the top for the mattress which provides the outstanding support for the mattress, this box spring by Zinus is excellent and is something you’ll be glad you bought !

We got a new mattress, which is much thicker than our old one, which meant that the high “box spring” suggested for it would make us need a step stool to get into bed!(Slight exaggeration, but you get the idea…..)This arrived on time, and after spending some time reviewing the instructions, it was pretty easy to assemble.It even comes with the tools needed to put it together.Obviously, it does not have any “spring” to it, but it serves the purpose of supporting the new mattress.We haven’t noticed any difference in it versus a true box spring in that sense.I will note that when it arrives in its box, it is pretty heavy all together, so depending on your level of fitness, you might need to open it, and move parts individually, for example, if your bedroom is upstairs.Overall, however, we are very pleased with it!

Purchased this for my momâs bed so she could be lower to the floor for easier in/out of the bed. It works perfectly. It was not quite an exact fit for her double bed, but luckily we had a few wooden slats we could place underneath it. If youâre bed doesnât have that I would double check measurements!!

I had hip replacement surgery and told that the height of my bed was lower than recommended for recovery. I didn’t want to have to replace my mattress or box springs as both were still in good condition. I ordered this. It’s easier if two people put it together but was easy enough to do. I put it on top of my current box spring and under the mattress. It gave me the additional height I needed and added a slight bit of firmness that was more comfortable than my mattress had previously been. I recommend it highly!
