Very comfy mattress
This is my second mattress bought from Zinus. The first I had was 12 inch, appeared to be too high for my platform bed. I moved t to my sons’ bedroom. This one i bought this time is is 8 inch, the size is good though it never reached 8 inch, but stopped at 7 inch when taken from the vacuum compressed package. And it is still good. BTW, the 12 inch Zinus mattress really was 12 inch high. Recommend this seller.

This mattress is amazing! Excellent price point and it is SOOOOOO comfortable! I got the 12″ and set it right on my bed frame. No need for box spring. Sleep like the dead! I’m very pleased

Just like I said about the box spring I bought online, I can’t believe I bought a Queen-sized mattress online! I didn’t have to drive to every store that sells mattresses to find a deal on a mattress that smells like pickles when it is delivered. (yes – that happened once) This was delivered right to my door hassle-free and hermetically sealed with all of the air sucked out of it and rolled up in 2 layers of heavy plastic. It would have been much easier if I had some help because it was super heavy and I’m kind of old but strong and determined. So I won. You have to be super careful when opening the box if you use a knife so you don’t cut through the plastic or slice the mattress. It will start to expand and that isn’t good until you have it in place. I removed the first layer of plastic, put the mattress on top of the box spring and carefully cut the last layer of plastic and it started to “inflate” right away. It was easy to pull the plastic off and within an hour it seemed to be fully fattened up. It had the slightest of odors but I’m sensitive to scents and it disappeared within the hour. It is so comfortable! It is firm until you lay on it and then you kind of sink a little. I think the more you weigh the more you’ll sink but it keeps it’s shape and has a very nice attached cover that is super soft. I don’t believe I’ll need a separate mattress cover and will put the sheets right on the mattress. My only concern is that my guest will get too comfy and won’t want to leave. It is more comfortable than my expensive King-sized bed from a bougie department store. I would have given 5-stars but it wasn’t cheap and it is solid foam with no coils so I will trust this will hold up better if used only occasionally for guests – not every night. So for that purpose it is worth the price and the wrestling match. Glad that I read all the good reviews and made the decision to purchase this mattress. I’m very happy with it and would highly recommend giving it a try!

This is my 3rd bed! I bought one for myself, wanting to see if the bed lived up to the recommendations. I was skeptical. But we LOVE it. I previously invested in very expensive beds. And I had great sleep quality on them. But with this bed, the quality is the same and a very significant savings.
My benefits: Firm, but absorbing. There isn’t a lot of energy conducted, so when you partner moves you barely feel it. Very comforting and comfortable support.
Getting used to: I’ve never had this type of mattress before and I found that once you’ve settled into a position, then go to move to a new one (I constantly move), the “indent” you’ve made from your body weight will take a minute to adjust to your new position. Not a big deal, but was used to instant bounce back.
Like I mentioned, I liked this bed so much I purchased one for my kids and the guest room.

Though ordered medium, my green tea 12â feels more like firm, and I am finding myself completely oversleeping since its arrival. Itâs uncanny just how much better I sleep with the good back support. Iâm waiting for the hot months to arrive to see if o need to add a cool pad atop the Queen, but great quality for the price. Made in Indonesia

I saw other reviews noting that this is a softer mattress than some, but I decided to buy it anyway because of the price point and because we’ve had good luck with buying the same mattress in a thinner version for our kids’ bunk beds. When we took it out of the packaging, no odors, which is a win for me. It grew to its normal size quickly and it’s very comfortable. 100% better than the mattress we were replacing. It is softer than I’d hoped – we prefer pretty firm mattresses – but it still has enough support to be extremely comfortable. I’ve been sleeping so much better since we got this mattress! I would recommend – just know that if you like to sleep on a super firm mattress, you might want to go for something firmer.
