Very short lived comfort
I have to admit that this couch was good for the first month and a half. And then I felt the disappointment. This was a house warming gift from my mother to my wife and I. We wanted something small and that could fit in our small house for a year at max. This couch seemed to fit in weâll and had a nice finish/ texture to it.Three and a half months later I very much regret getting this couch. There is no back support whatsoever as the cushions that you sit on lost all support and firmness. The center seems to be caving in and Iâm already thinking of ways to add support to its cushions. The back is also too short, even for a short person like myself. It is so hard find a comfortable position where you can have proper upper shoulder/neck support.To add, the material used for the cushion and couch material seems to add a lot more static on me. I cover the cushions and pads with a small blanket to make it more comfortable and less âshockyâ.one star for the fact that Itâs comfortable however to sleep on for a short nap.I just feel sad that this ended up being a gift from my mother who doesnât work anymore and spent what is a fair deal for her on this not so worth it couch. I wish I can return it…

It’s pretty amazing that you can order a sofa shipped to your door in a reasonably sized box. Zinus did a clever job with packaging, and assembly was not difficult at all (under 30 minutes).The fabric is appropriate for the price point. It’s a hatch-like pattern that’s not the most luxurious but not bad either. It remains to be seen how durable it will be, but so far so good.A couple of issues. First, it’s not the most comfortable for my body type (5′ 10″, 175lbs). I found support to be good, but the couch is too high for me to sit comfortably. It’s also a pretty small sofa at under 80″ in width.Second, a problem with the way the sofa is assembled is that the middle part slides into the sides via brackets and the force of gravity is supposed to keep everything together. There were times when I got up or bumped into the sofa where tracks slid up creating a loud sliding noise. It never came undone, but it did cause me to be a bit more careful around it than I otherwise would be.This is a good sofa for what it is, though I wish it was a touch lower for better sitting position. If you’re someone with longer legs, then this may work better for you.

This couch looks really nice. Friend actually ooh and ahh over it. But it is small. I knew that, I was cool with it, wish I’d gone a bit bigger though.The back cushions don’t really stay in place and this couch isn’t necessarily comfortable for long periods of time. I had to buy a separate ottoman because it’s not big enough to really curl up on. I actually think this would probably make a great waiting room couch, because no one would really be on it for the time it takes for it to become uncomfortable.Two people MAX. More of a one person couch.5’5″ and less can sleep on it, and I’ve definitely slept on worse.It’s fine for right now, but I’ll definitely be spending more on my next couch in order to be comfier and have a bit more longevity.Oh, it was the EASIEST thing to assemble. Literally slide two pieces together.Nice grey color. Fabric is SURPRISINGLY resilient even with a cat and me sitting in one spot over and over. That one spot doesn’t look more worn than the other spots. Which is actually a win for couches of this price point.

Back in 2020 we bought a nice high end sofa that was going to take 30 weeks to get to us. But we needed something in the mean time. These served as a great filler for those month! Honestly they came pre assembled. And for the price suprisingly comfortable! It’s not the fluffier thing in the world but also not uncomfortable. These are great space savers to. But suprisingly durable. Me and my husband are not small and I was concerned with them breaking. My husband is 6″2″ 340lbs I am 5″ 220lbs and 2 rowdy dogs after almost a year with them used every day they were still In GREAT condition. Me and my husband would frequently lay on the sofa or love seat together with our dog and they never broke or cracked. I definitely wouldn’t go jumping on them but for the price I was honestly impressed. If we had another are that needed seating like a basement I would of 100% repurposed them there but we don’t and they still had alot of life left in them. So we gave them to a women in need. These were such a life saver and I am so pleased we found them!

I love this couch. It’s bigger than a loveseat and smaller than a regular couch. It is firm enough, which is what I wanted, better for the back. I also like the upholstery. It was easy to assemble, although one has to make sure that the back is attached in the right direction.

Editingâ¦Iâve tried to assemble the back rest again and it works now. Important to notice that the black fabric is where the cushions are going to stay so you know which side is the right side.4 stars just because the assembling instructions are not clear enough.The back rest doesn’t go all the way in the slot. I assembled this with another person and no matter how much we try pushing the back rest down, it wont go any further. We put so much pressure, even sitting on top of it to check if it was not assembled correctly, but still the back rest wonât slide all the way down. As a consequence, the back is at a weird angle. I would return this if i could but too much hassle since Iâm on the second floor and the defection could only be detected when we put everything together.
