Quality bed frame!
This bed frame is awesome for the price. I was worried that since it was so inexpensive it wouldnât be good, or it would squeak, but itâs actually very sturdy and zero noise. If you need a bed frame that isnât huge or intrusive this is also great. The wood frame is pretty cool as it has Velcro so it doesnât move around. Just make sure you put it on the right way because itâs hard to change after. They give very large text instructions, so itâs totally on me when it comes to that. The assembly is also very easy, they give each screw in separate little boxes and explain exactly where it goes.

Good value no frills bed frame
This was a good value no frills metal bed frame. It is easy to assemble with minimal parts and very sturdy. A good tip is to loosely attach all fasteners at first then tighten everything at the end. The parts will not align properly if you tighten everything one at a time. This is a good rule of thumb when using fasteners anywhere and on anything.

Best bed frame hands down.
This is the third Zinus bed frame I’ve purchased. These Zinus frames are so easy to instal (I’m an old woman and I can easily do it myself). They are extremely sturdy. No squeaks and noises. Love, Love, LOVE them. Only one negative comment, however: I haven’t peeled the plastic off the stickers on the wood platform as I like to swivel my mattress periodically. This results in the mattress sliding over a lot.

Very Decent, easy build.
Easy build, no missing bits, no damaged bits, minimal packaging, early delivery to my front door – what’s not to like?I must have looked at hundreds of frames, trying to find exactly the right height and simplicity…. I wanted the platform to extend out BEYOND the legs (so there would be no toe stubbing), built in, under bed drawers on both sides, solid wood (not particle board!) in a Queen size…. I simply couldn’t find an affordable option. So I got creative, bought this double frame, topped it with 60 by 80 inch, 3/4 inch plywood (to accommodate the Queen mattress) and got plastic under bed storage bins. All in, I’m at $300, a far cry from the many thousands a custom made bed frame would have cost me.Somewhere I got confused and thought this was good for 1500 lbs, I erred and did not realize this frame is ONLY FOR 500 POUNDS. Because of MY ERROR I have replaced the single centre leg with a full length wood beam and added legs on the outside rails in the middle – together my husband and I are 450, add the plywood, the mattress and the dogs and I was just not comfortable with being at the edge of the weight limit.I have just put bed frame together, will update after a while as to how it performs. NOTE: loosely hand tighten screws until all are in place and started. Once you start using the ratchet tool to finish tightening, the last twist/torque can slightly twist frame making insertion of final screw impossible. If all are just loosely finger tight you have some wiggle room to slip them all into place as you near the end.I built it alone, by myself. From the first slit of the tape on the box, to finished and all packing cleaned up, was well under an hour, and should have been less. I had to go back and loosen all my nicely tightened screws to get the last one in – while I was futzing about it fell out and I didn’t notice until it was the last one I was going to tighten. Without that little mishap it likely would have been just over half an hour. The instructions are simple (single page of pictures), each piece is appropriately labeled with numbered/lettered stickers where the screws go, so you can easily match up the right piece in the correct place. Honestly, even without the pictures or stickers, it is fairly self explanatory. Packaging was very minimal: plastic sleeves on all the metal pieces, and some rubbery foam to keep stuff from shifting around (about 1 cubic foot) inside a long, simply taped (no nasty metal staples) cardboard box.The build is pretty straight forward: there are four legs, a head cross bar and foot cross bar, two side rails, a center rail, center leg (mine is a double) two sets of slats strung on velcro, a bunch of screw/bolts (all the exactly the same, nice touch) for the frame and a longer version for attaching the center leg(s). No tools required, except the included little robertson ratchet driver (huh??? don’t worry, it is lovely little tool with a square head, that slots into the provided screws; ratchet means you just swish the handle back and forth, like a lever or a wrench, not twist and push, like a screwdriver – and it COMES IN THE KIT).First you take two of the legs, slide one onto each end of the head bar (these are the ones with the two odd “slots” – it is where you would, if desired, add a headboard, the slots are for the attaching screws/bolts that would come with the head board), and screw in two of the included bolts on each end, by hand only at this point. Repeat with the foot bar and attach the legs (with no slot cutouts) on each end.Second, move on to the side rails. LOOSEN (use the ratchet tool, push silver button on the side to the left – flush on right side, sticking out on left side. This locks it into “loosen” mode, as you lift it locks and loosens, then releases when you push down to reposition and then as you again lift it, it locks and loosens the screw) the “factory installed” screw at the top of the leg on all four corners so you can easily slide notched hole over screw. After each rail is slipped onto the top screw, and you have a ‘square’, then go back and insert the four, lower bolts (one on each leg) and hand tighten. Do this three more times. Make sure you have the “ledge” facing the inside of the bed, this is what the slats sit on.Third step is the installation of the center rail that slots down the middle between the head and foot bars. Lay it across your leg as you sit in the middle of the frame on the floor, to get it quasi level, finger screw in the two bolts on one end, then repeat on the other end. You may need to slightly push on the head/foot bar to get the required clearance. Now grab the LONG bolt(s) and the center leg(s). The frame is super light so it is easy to lift up and slip the leg(s) into place, finding the screw hole is a bit finicky so be gentle and patient, wiggle it and the leg about until they find each other and screw in.Now take the handy dandy included ratchet tool and really tighten down every single bolt (push the little silver toggle near the head to the right to tighten. When you lift or twist right you are repositioning the tool, when you pull or go left you are driving/screwing the bolt in and tightening). The ratchet driver needs some resistance to work, so make sure your bolts are finger tight before trying to use the tool. If tool is spinning but not moving the bolt the little silver toggle has been bumped to center or neutral, push it to the right – flush on left, sticking out on right – several times I bumped the side of the frame and knocked it off kilter.Lastly, is the installation of the slats that support the mattress. Starting from the CENTER, slowly unroll the slats, heading either towards the head or the foot, lifting and fully extending the velcro strapping, before placing each slat into place. Get the second set of slats and again, starting at the center, unroll and drop each slat into place. IMO, support is most critical at the center of the bed, which is why I suggest you start from the center out – I initially unrolled from the head of the bed to the center, then from the foot to the center and ended up with a six inch gap in the middle. They kindly include several spare screws, I suggest popping these and the ratchet tool into a bag and duct tape it to the underside of the frame in case you ever need to take it apart. As I said, I am “customizing” the frame a bit…the lumber store cut the plywood for me (two 4×8 sheets of 3/4 inch, finished birch cost just under $100), so I had a the needed 60×80 inches for the queen mattress, and the leftovers will be my foot and head boards. The extra support I added down the center on in the middle on the sides was sourced from stuff I already had. The under bed plastic bins are from Amazon, made by IRIS.

Surprising quality!
Pros: Well packackaged with no scratches but not a ton of waste. Good quality materials. Well designed – easy to assemble and (almost) everything fits as it should. The parts are organized and well labeled. There are even some spare nuts and bolts (labeled so you don’t just think you screwed up…but also extras in the regular spot so I did wonder if I missed something?) which is a nice touch. Most similar companies scrimp on these details. The instructions are clear and simple. They took some care with the product – there are some cute little notecards to use as a bonus. Cutesy but not just plea for a good review.Feels sturdy and should be good mattress support but I’ll update if anything goes wrong over the next few months.Cons- one crossbeam us a little warped to one of four bolts won’t fit. Not worth return but will definitely shorten the life of the bed.Pretty good experience so far! Will have to see if the one crossbeam holds up.

Buy it!
I love the height. It was not to high, not to low. My dog loves to sleep under it lol Super SUPER sturdy. If you know what I mean. Does not squeak. Or wobble.

Best platform bed
So easy to assemble and the ratchet tool makes it a snap. Most important thing is to finger tighten all of the screws first, then use the allen key and then the ratchet to fully tighten. Once assembled it is incredibly sturdy. The velcro that is preattached to the side rails makes it easy to install the slats that also have velcro on them. Its a great replacement for box springs which are really just dust collectors. Love this bed frame.

I am very, very satisfied with this bed frame. I bought one other frame from Amazon previously that I ended up really disliking, so I decided to replace it with this frame and I couldn’t be much happier. The assembly is dead easy with very clear instructions and labels on the parts, plus an included ratchet wrench. All of the pieces are extremely beefy, allowing the frame to be perfectly tight and sturdy with only four legs on the corners and one in the very center. My previous frame had additional legs on the sides, which just got in the way of sliding storage bins underneath, and it still felt wobbly and creaky anyway. With this frame, I can’t feel any movement – it feels about as solid as throwing a mattress on the ground, and it doesn’t make any noise whatsoever.I like the wood mattress support slats much more than metal ones on other bed frames. They are much wider, so there’s more surface area for the mattress to sit on, preventing the mattress from sliding. There are also sticky strips on a couple of the slats, but I found these a little too sticky, making it difficult to lift the mattress when, for example, putting on a fitted sheet. I replaced these with non-slip furniture tape and that has worked very well. The mattress doesn’t move at all but can still be lifted if needed. In comparison, my previous frame had skinny metal slats and my mattress would slide to the side and need to be shoved back every few days, even with some of the same non-slip tape. This frame sits a few inches lower than most, but that is perfect for me as I have a thick 14″ mattress that felt too high up with a standard height frame. With this frame, my bed feels like the perfect height, and there is still just enough room to slide storage bins underneath.I like that this frame does not include a headboard, allowing me to instead find one I like to add on. I have since added a Zinus headboard which, of course, fit perfectly. I have heard of some compatibility issues with headboards from other manufacturers, so I stuck with Zinus. They do have lots of good options, though, so that wasn’t really a problem.

After years of struggling to find the ideal mattress/frame combination, my wife and I wanted something that just worked so we can have a good night’s sleep – nothing more and nothing less. After years of frustration going through numerous combinations, we were happy to find a combination that finally worked for us. This frame along with theÂ

Going through all the things I’ve bought almost a year ago and leaving reviews for the bigger purchases. This is one of them, and so far I’ve had no issues with the frame. I bought this specifically for the height and because the slats will keep my cats from tearing up the boxspring cover when they go under the bed. It’s sturdy, the slats aren’t creaky at all still, was easy to put together, and it’s holding up great. I was worried when I ordered it prior to moving after reading a few reviews and the price, but it’s exceeded my expectations by miles. Excellent bed frame, especially for the price. Would definitely recommend.

Our smallest guest bedroom has a queen bed with a black bookcase headboard attached to a standard mattress frame (boxspring and mattress). Because of the basic mattress frame, we needed to have a bedskirt, and didn’t really love the look. We bought this frame to go with the headboard and now it looks more like a complete bed vs just a headboard, and a bit more modern looking, esp without the bedskirt. With both a “regular size” boxspring and mattress on this bed frame, it’s 30-31 inches from the floor to the top of the mattress, which is higher than it was with the standard mattress frame, but it actually makes the bed look better. The top of the mattress is now even with the lowest shelf of our bookcase headboard, so if you have a lower headboard, you might only want to use a mattress; you don’t need to have a boxspring with this bed frame, we just had one and weren’t going to get rid of it.

The bed showed up pretty quickly but I waited to put it together because I took ill. Yesterday, I finally had the strength to put the bed together. It was pretty easy. I will state that the numbers on the parts donât match some of the info on the instructions. But the pictures are pretty self explanatory so no big issue. The bed isnât as high off the ground as I thought but again, not a deal breaker. Honestly, my only complaint is that the little ratchet doesnât work. I thought I just didnât understand it but after consulting YouTube and the maintenance guy in my complex, itâs confirmed that my tool is broken. I wonât take off a star for that because i was still able to easily put the bed together. Overall, after one night of laying on this bed, Iâm happy.
