Beautiful colour and style
I ordered the cherry finish and was a bit worried it would be quite red, but nope itâs a beautiful brown. Went together easily and seems sturdy. Solid wood no glued together pieces. Love it. Iâll try to remember to post again after a year of use.

The assembly: I did it on my own, took about 45minutes. The instructions are photo only, and fairly easy, aside from one thing. The metal support bar has one rubber padded side and one metal side, Iâm not sure if I should have faced that toward the metal so the two metals donât squeak, or toward the slats so they donât squeak?? The slats have Velcro on them which make them easy to put on.
The sturdiness: the frame is solid wood. And for a queen or smaller, the metal support beam would likely be more supportive. But for the King size, which I ordered, it seems like the slats are not supported well, and that two support beams would better disperse the weight of the mattress.
The quality: the wood quality is great. And the bolts are inserted into metal threads. This means that even if it loosens over time, it wonât strip, which is nice for longevity. The stain could be one coat too thin, as itâs slightly on the orange side compared to my other cherry furniture in the room, but once the blankets are on, you only see a tiny bit of wood, so it isnât super noticeable.
Shipping: I ordered a number of products for the bed on amazon, and this one took the longest, about a week, compared to a few days. So, while a week isnât long, the mattress arrived first from Perfect Sense, and made it tough to assemble the frame with less space in the room. So, I recommend you order this first, wait a few days, then order the other parts.
Little side thoughts: if you have hardwood floors, youâll need something for the bottom so it doesnât slide away from the wall. And youâll need 9 of them, otherwise the support pieces will be too short if you only put them on the 4 corners. Thatâs next on my list 🙂
Noise: it doesnât squeak, but the slats make a faint noise. Again, that could be because of installing the support beam, foam down.
Overall: Iâm happy with it, after all, it was $200 with free shipping! So I feel like for the money, itâs awesome.

The best bed I ever purchased
This warranted a great review because the instructions made it SO easy. My friend and I finished earlier than we had prepared for and we’re both so impressed with the wood quality and ease of assembling. This company thought through every detail in the setup process… so impressive. The frame even comes with a non-slip sticker for the mattress and the slats are velcroed onto the frame. Best purchase and money spent!!!! 🙂

This is a solid frame with quality materials
I’ll preface this by saying that I have no trouble with Ikea assembly instructions, and have only rarely run into an assembly manual that I did not understand. If you are the type that is confused by super simple instructions (like Ikea), I really don’t think that it’s the instructions that are causing your difficulties, and you should probably just spend the money on pre-assembled furniture.
That being said:
– I found the instructions extremely simple to follow
– All of the branded materials inside were nice quality and well designed
– All of the holes lined up the way they should, and there were no missing pieces
– I easily assembled the frame by myself
– All the materials were very high quality
– I trust the durability of this frame
– The price was an excellent value, especially when considering I didn’t pay for the 2 day Prime shipping
– The box was WAY heavier that I expected based on the size… I’m 25 and I’m saying watch your back on this one folks
We’re 9 months into using it, and it’s stayed sturdy, and wobble and squeak-free. I’ve recommended this frame to multiple friends and family members for the quality and value, and would absolutely buy it again.
Based on my experience with this, my other Zinus bed frame, and my two Zinus mattresses, I’d say this company has cornered the market on quality, affordable bedroom furniture.

I don’t often write reviews but god dam. ð first off the frame came double packed to protect it and every part was labeled and in perfect condition. Came with 2 extra assembly tools “one a ratcheting tool” and spare parts. The frame is solid wood which nowadays you couldn’t buy and make for this price! Honestly think someone messed up on the price lol but my gain. Secondly every part matched up and screwed tight together ð©. Another surprise was that even the welds and parts that arnt seen were great quality and everything was nicely powder coatedð. If this was made in China it was made at a Rolls-Royce factory. I will 100% buy more products from them. Check out the pictures for yourself. Not a promo either just shocking to recieve anything half decent foe that cheap of a price nowadays ð¤ payed 255 CAD plus tax.

This frame is actually pretty nice! It took me about 1.5 hours to put together – the directions were easy to follow and came with this little ratchet tool. However the tool would not grip until the threaded took a good hold, but it worked.
I did have a moment of panic after putting it together because it seemed like it was too small for the bed! It actually fit perfect!
You don’t need to have a box spring with frame, but I already had them and use it with the frame. It gives it a nice height, if you like that look.
I bought another one for my daughter and thinking about getting another one for myself.
Good quality and a reasonable price to pay.

About two years ago, I ordered a queen-sized wood bed frame from Zinus. It came, and has been rock solid, despite the fact that my kids and husband all like to flop onto it like it’s a piece of gym equipment. :-/ We moved at the beginning of the summer, and we needed to replace the old, weird hand-me-down bed that my youngest had been sleeping on…so I got him the same one, but in a twin-size and light wood. It’s awesome. Two weeks ago, my husband and I decided to order a new king-sized mattress for ourselves and move the old queen bed into the new guest room. Of course, we needed a new bed frame, too, and I ordered a THIRD Zinus wood frame–this one. These frames are a cinch to assemble (that’s my 8-year old putting it together in the photo), they are made of solid wood, the hardware is quality and the frame super-sturdy, the simple aesthetic goes with just about any decor, and they sit up high enough that you can store stuff under there. Also, because of the wooden bed slats, they work with any kind of mattress (we bought a hybrid memory foam/spring coil mattress, and no need for a box spring with these frames). Hooray! Seriously, I can’t say enough positive things about these frames. When we replace my older son’s crummy “rhymes-with-Mikeeyah” bed set-up, he’s getting the same frame. Enjoy your new beds, people!

Beautiful bed, exactly as advertised! This bed is really easy to assemble. My 13 year old daughter and I put it together in about 45 minutes. It is very sturdy and we have had no problems. After several months it is holding up just fine. Usually it is just my daughter that sleeps on it, but my parents came for a month. Two adults, just under 200 lbs each, slept on it for that whole month with problems. I really like that it’s a simple, nice quality frame. It got out bed “off the floor” and let us get rid of the annoying box spring! The price was great and the fact that I didn’t have to pay shipping to Hawaii was a huge plus for me!

This is probably the BEST value Iâve ever gotten for under $100. I ordered the twin frame to set up simple, frugal and space-saving accommodations in a very small guest room. For the price, I wasnât expecting anything amazing. But I was quite surprised. The box was ginormous and very heavy. My very kind UPS guy put it inside my front door for me, thankfully…as I probably would have had to unbox it on the front porch to bring the heavy, solid (real!) wood parts inside for assembly. As it was, I opened the box in my entry and took each part upstairs and laid things out to put together. What a breeze! Every single part fit effortlessly and without any confusion. I put things together in about 15 minutes and happily awaited the equally fantastic Zinus memory foam mattress, which arrived the next day. I am super impressed with the look and sturdiness of the frame, including the fact that itâs finished on all sides, so I could put the bed lengthwise with a lot of throw pillows…should I ever use the little twin bed as a day bed / sofa. Very very pleased.

Great Bed frame, easy to put together as a female taking probably a total of an hour and a half. Directions were easy to follow and the packaging was done well as to not damage any parts during transit. I bought this to use with a memory foam mattress. I was pleasantly surprised with the extra details included after getting my past frames from IKEA, I will always buy this again if needed! From the quality of the wood to small things like velcro additions on the slats and adhesive strips on top of slats for mattress security this frame exceeded my expectations. Looks gorgeous as well and is a nice height from the floor. Thank you for this fab product!
