Packaging good protection, box damaged but wood intact.Overall unit fits together nicely, appears to be sturdy, nice and compact. So far, I would purchase it again.Box could say open this way.Wood sections need labels (A, B, C, D, E)Instruction sheet appeared to be tossed in, wrinkled, made me a little nervous at first (fear product previously returned), important things were as they should be.Instructions sheet needs to explain screw driver needed.Instructions could say/ indicate with arrow direction to turn screws and how many times.

Je suis contente de mon achat. C’est un banc solide, de bonne qualité, mais on ne précise pas le poids qu’il pourrait supporter. Sur le descriptif du montage pour le meuble, il y a des lettres et des chiffres, mais elles ne sont pas associées aux pièces. Il ne faut pas s’en faire, il demeure tout de même très simple à monter puisqu’il n’y a que 6 panneaux à assembler. Le meuble est tel que présenté par le vendeur. Je recommande ce produit.

What you’d expect
I needed something to use as a toybox and couldn’t find anything simple in my price range (cheap!). I added some mismatched baskets to the lower shelf for toys and am using the upper shelf for books. It looks good in the living room but if you look at it you can tell it’s pressboard. If this bothers me I’ll just paint it but so far I’m fine with it. Shipping was really quick, especially since I’m on an island and in a rural area and my boyfriend had it put together in about a half hour. He said he wouldn’t trust it to sit on but he’s a pretty big guy. Overall I’m happy with this purchase. Quality is as expected for the price.

Iâd buy this again. As good as assemble yourself furniture gets. Real wood with a nice finish. Looks really good sitting in the corner by the door. My wife is happy.Sturdiness: The sticker on the back shows a weight limit of 200lbs. Itâs as sturdy as any assemble yourself bench.Easy to assemble. My unit did have pre-installed dowels on the top that did not slide easily by hand into the holes on one of the sides. A light tap with a rubber mallet against a piece of scrap wood to spread the force of the blow and they slid in place. It took 15 minutes to put it together.The baskets are ok. They are wicker baskets – what do you expect from wicker basement?All in all this is a good value for the money.

I love this little bench!I wanted something for the entryway to store gloves/scarves, a sturdy place to sit and put on boots in the winter, a reasonably priced piece of furniture that was not ugly⦠ha. This is everything I was looking for.I looked around and you just cannot beat this for the price. It is a beautiful dark red-brown wood and very sturdy! Room for 4-5 pair of women’s shoes on the shelf and the middle shelf has 2 adjustable heights. The baskets below are also a good size and sturdy, could fit several pair of gloves or a few scarves in each.I was a bit worried when this arrived from FedEx because the box had a huge tear which ripped the assembly instruction sheet right through the middle and the middle section was missing! However, fortunately the side that was ripped only had the little cloth baskets in it and the wooden furniture pieces were packaged very well inside other inner boxes with lots of styrofoam padding so nothing was damaged.It also was not hard to put together without instructions. There is one main type of screw, some wooden pegs, and little nibs to put in the sides for the middle shelf. I did use my own screwdriver instead of the dinky little tool that came with it, and used a heavy book to pound the side panels onto the wood pegs.I love it, would buy again, and heartily recommend it.

I needed a smallish, stylish storage table for my recently redecorated sitting room. This storage bench fit the bill completely. It was a great price, and while not the most heavy duty built, its fairly sturdy. Weight limit is 200 lbs and I would not go over that. But what gave it a whole five stars in my book is that I could put it together by myself. I am older and have some mobility issues, but this took me about an hour to put together – with plenty of breaks. All the pieces were there, I didn’t have leftovers, and even when I forgot a step, it was easy to go back and recover. It looks great in my sitting room. I think I’ll even splurge and purchase the rattan baskets that are sold separately. Packing was also good, nothing broken or chipped.

Easy to assemble piece of furniture, even for me – a woman! I use this bench as a shoe holder that displays them very nicely in my closet. The bottom baskets are spacious for sandals, slip ons, flip flops, etc. My only complaint is that the fabric on the baskets is not durable and after a few pulls on the handles the fabric tore off without a way of fixing it properly. I flipped the basket around and used the other handle until that eventually tore. The baskets are poorly constructed and over time the sides began to bend inward at the top. The bench is a nice cherry wood and is a good sturdy piece of furniture. Baskets can be replaced.

This was reasonably easy to assemble, and has remained durable (has been almost a year now). It’s not exceptionally strong — I’m not sure I’d want someone more than about 100-125 lbs sitting on it — but it’s very functional for holding shoes, backpacks, school books, etc. It’s a little higher quality than an Ikea product, in my opinion, and looks nice enough for the front hall, with the baskets maybe the one part you’d want to replace if it needs to look fancier. They’re fine for our needs, but real baskets might be more upscale.
