Very nice piece. Sturdy
Very nice piece. Sturdy. Very easy to assemble.The shelf is very good quality. The wicker baskets are a bit “dry”. They were flaky and crumbled a bit during assembly. They look very nice but do not expect them to last with regular use.I plan to purchase another.

Nice looking but not sturdy
This item was easy to assemble and is nice looking but it doesnt feel sturdy at all. Fortunately only using it for a few items and I would not trust putting anything heavy on it.

Damage and very unsturdy/loose
Extremely disappointed and angry with this product. I donât know if the one I got was just a dud, or if it simply not a good product in general. First, the product came with damage on the top: a deep scratch and some water/dirt type damaged that a damp cloth could not remove. Then there was damage where the colour was scraped off on the front face along the vertical piece. We built this once and it was so unsturdy/wobbly I couldn’t believe it. None of the pieces fit together well or snug and the panels for the back had at least a cm gap between then. It sways 1-2 inches either way if you so much as blow on it. We thought maybe it wasnât tight enough. Disassembled the entire thing, tightened everything as much as possible and the same result. Almost every joint is loose or simply not snug. Almost none of the cam locks get super tight, but also wonât budge further. The front piece that goes on the top is super loose and you can see the dowels on both sides. Very upset.

I really like this shelf
I really like this shelf. It was perfect for a little extra storage in my place but it also looks very nice. The backing is kind of like cardboard so it isn’t that strong but that didn’t make any difference to me. The baskets have a little smell as first but they air out nicely. They also shed a bit and are a tad small but you can find baskets anywhere and the shelf is nice without the baskets as well ! I would recommend it. I love it !! perfect addition.

Poor Quality, mixed matched wood etc…
Had bought a Winsome table and was so pleased with it. It was good quality and very sturdy. This bookcase is the complete opposite the wood on the shelves doesn’t match the side panels. The pieces don’t come together properly. It is not sturdy at all.The box that it arrived in was not in the greatest condition, but that doesn’t bother me normally, this time I should have paid more attention.I would return it, but I’m not going to spend a fortune on shipping as there is “nothing wrong with it”.I will think Twice about buying a Winsome product again and I will tell my friends and family to stay clear

Cheap, smelly, but good for short term
The product is nice as long as you don’t look too close. Assembly was simple with great instructions and enough pieces + extras.However this wood is as weak as the cardboard box it comes in. Literally, the cardboard box lid fell on a piece I was adding screws to and the cardboard chipped this “wood” . Cane with scratches and areas they obviously glued back together when cracks were formed. The fumes coming off it are gnarly too.That being said, it does look nice and came quick. I know it won’t last Long but is doing okay for now.

Nice shelf, as pictured
This shelf looks great and was easy to assemble. Only downside is the strong chemical-like fumes. We have had it for two weeks and the smell is still strong when we open the office door.

I bought this to serve as an organizational tool for my family. I needed something to hold things that I found randomly around the house. With this unit there is room for everyone to have their own basket. The baskets are light enough with two handles for my kids to carry their own things to their rooms each night. The baskets are made of cornhusk, so they aren’t the sturdiest material but they are of a size that would be easy to replace later on if necessary. The unit itself is very easy to put together and I was pleasantly surprised at the quality, considering it came in pieces. The back panels are a thin plywood rather than the cardboard you typically find on build it yourself furniture. Overall the piece looks classy and fits in nicely with a contemporary or traditional decor. I do recommend.

I was debating between 4 or 5 stars but realized I can’t dock the product since I didn’t attempt to get my problem fixed. A couple of the pieces came damaged. From the looks it may have been previously returned. We decided to just keep it because the damaged pieces weren’t going to show. Went together easily. I thought it was going to look/feel cheap but now that it’s completed it actually looks really nice in our living room next to our more expensive furniture. We are using this to hold our daughter’s toys and it’s working out great (so much better than a toy chest which becomes a bottomless pit).

This bookcase looks nice, but, we can’t have it in the house. The TOXIC smell gave us all headaches. This has been out on my backporch for over a week hoping the smell would go away but it hasn’t. I can’t unassemble it to return it, I have received no reply to my message asking for a refund. Very disappointing and huge waste of money.

Super easy to put together by one person in less than 30 minutes. Instructions were great. I like the look and size of the storage unit. Not a huge fan of the baskets as pieces of the basket shed easily, are kind of rough, and have the yucky wicker basket smell. Overall though I am pleased with the look and how sturdy the shelf is as we put it in our laundry/mud room to collect kids shoes/hats/etc when they come in from outside.

These are OK and look nice, but you should be clear that the only real wood in them is the posts at the corners. Everything else is particle board. I had an accident while assembling one and broke one of the shelf supports. Because of that I noticed that these particle board pieces were only attached with some small wooden pegs and a couple of drops of glue. I decided to drill in from the sides and add screws to make them stronger since I had to do that anyway to fix the one that broke. They came out solid and I’m satisfied.The only other issue I had is that there was a lot of out-gassing from the styrofoam packing material. My whole place smelled like hot plastic. I recommend you unbox them in a ventilated area and get rid of the packing as soon as possible.
