WGX Wood and Metal Wine Rack with WheelsOnce assembled, this seems a sturdy piece, and it will do for my purposes, but it could have been far better without further cost to the manufacturer, just better decisions. I was unable to see any of these problems from the listing’s photos. The listing also did not mention that this unit is made in China. I prefer to shop locally when possible. we have plenty of wood in Canada! From the price, I wrongly assumed I was saving, compared to sourcing all the materials and cutting my own boards by hand. Considering what’s written below, you’ll see I got a lesser quality than that, though it still fulfills my needs.I was tempted to order two from the get-go, now I’m glad I didn’t. I’ll keep this one for my tiny kitchen, and I’ll make the second one (for the art studio) from better components.It took me 1.5 hours to assemble, without rushing.Some of the delay came from having to locate 5 screws to replace the missing ones. Mine did not match, so I put the mismatched ones on the bottom shelf. Note that this unit is functional and sturdy without any of the screws, but they help complete the look (holes in the flanges). The wrench they supplied is useless: it doesn’t fit between the wood and the casters, so I had to screw them with my bare hands. I’ll try to find a super thin wrench soon. The packaging was a nightmare of packaging tape over bubble wrap. It’s impossible to open without rendering the bubble wrap and plastic bags useless. What a waste of all three materials! A regular-sized corded drill doesn’t fit well between the shelves. I had to drill the screws at a pronounced diagonal. It helped that I punched the holes with an awl before drilling the pilot holes for the screws. Aesthetics: looks a bit cheap for those who care about it, due to four factors:1)The plumbing pipes and flanges aren’t the same as regular plumbing pipes (at least, in North America). They are quite thin. They still feel sturdy enough for this purpose, though time will tell. The flanges have a VERY visible brand name (Kim Las), which I will find a mental distraction during use.2)The pipes are dry-brushed to make them look distressed. It just looks fake up close, like plastic Halloween chain props, but more subtle. Anyone who has used real plumbing pipes will see this. This finish makes the brands stand out even more. That said, it would fit in a comic book decor quite nicely. Kid’s room?3) The glued wood boards have been “enhanced” in a way that makes it look very tacky: they passed a torch on both of the long sides, likely to enhance contrast, but it just looks like someone got lazy at attempting Shou-sugi-ban and gave up.4)The boards were not properly sanded before varnishing. And the varnish is insufficient. Maybe they sprayed just one coat? I can still feel the raised wood grain, and surface damages through it, so it’s not a pleasant feeling on the fingers. The varnish is a bit too glossy for my tastes, enhancing the tacky factor. A matte or satin would have pleased a lot more people.I would have preferred it in plain sanded wood, so I would have had my choice of finishes. Now I’ll have to dismantle this again, strip and sand it all, and redo. It would look a lot better in a plain color (and subtle antique wash), or barn wood-style!

Came wrapped up very well , and very easy to put together, took about 30-45 minutes. The wood part can always be sanded and restained a different colour if you wanted to darken . I love it â¤ï¸

Bad quality control
As many have stated, a piece didnât fit because one of the pipes was bent. Big waste of time having to put everything back into the box and resend it!!Not sure if the money saved is worth the time lost

The directions are not great, but it was still easy to assemble. Took me about 40 minutes with a power screw driver. Looks great and just what we needed in our office….a movable beverage cart for meetings. Very sturdy and the wood is beautiful. The piping is darker than in the picture and looks a lot better than in the pic.

I recently moved, and as I am decorating my home, I thought I needed a bar cart in my âloungeâ area. I had a friend help me, put it together, and what the help of a drill and a screwdriver, but it was really quite simple and only took us about 45 minutes or so. I love how it looks! Great quality and very sturdy !
