Love Our New Coat Stand!
This coat stand looks amazing in our entranceway. It was fairly easy to assemble. It is very sturdy with the option of screwing into the wall if preferred. I bought a few baskets for storage on the bottom shelf at Dollarama and it looks great! Everyone who visits comments on how nice it is. Great value for the money. Highly recommended!

Weak spot weld; a suport braket of the frame snaped off on the 1st step of assemblly. 2 “A” screws missing. Take your time to think when putting together. Some of the steps assembly don’t make sence.

Pretty easy to put together and sturdy. Havenât fixed it to the wall due to a socket in the way but seems solid enough without. Looks more expensive than it is too!

So I read the reviews before attempting to together and was prepared to need a lot of help from husband. Surprisingly it only took me about an hour and a half and I only needed him twice, once to help me hold the 2 vertical side pieces so I could put in a few screws for the connector bars, and once to help with the seat because it was pretty heavy to try and hold and screw at the same time.The product looks very nice once assembled and was easy to move by myself. We haven’t installed the anchors yet but it’s still sturdy enough to sit on, at least for me and my kids.My only complaints:1. I didn’t have a 2nd hole for the bottom hook rack. Fortunately the unit is snug enough with all the screws tightened that the board doesn’t swing back and forth, or even wiggle at all really, but if it hadn’t been so snug I can see that being an issue.2. The holes for the small diagonal support rods did not line up AT ALL so I was unable to install those.3. The screws for the x-bars on the back under the seat were either too large, or the holes were too small, but either way, not even my husband could force the screws in and he’s a big dude. So I don’t have the cross bars on the bottom, but with the storage bins I have on there, it’s not really noticeable.

This hall tree worked out absolutely PERFECT for our entrance area. I put it together by myself. (A 66 yr old grandma 🙂 Each section was marked with a number, each screw set for various sections in different bags – tools necessary were included. IF you read directions, this was simple to put together. It took me about 45-55 minutes and I was taking my time. It was like putting a simple numbered puzzle together.It is a VERY sturdy piece of furniture. I found no need to bolt it to the wall, although those parts are included for that purpose. The piece goes well with my other furniture – which includes distressed wood and metal (industrial style) and a someone eclectic mix of antique and “what-ever I like”. The pressed wood color is just as the picture shows and is great here on the coast because it’s a driftwood color.My husband and I are very satisfied. We are getting a lot of use out of it. I’d definitely recommend.
