Great addition to my standing desk
The only drawback of this chair is the inability to move it while you’re standing on it. But that comes with the territory. Otherwise, I love it.

I love this standing chair
One of the screw did not fit. Luckily I have one in my toolbox fitted in. Otherwise , I would give it a 5 stars.Overall, I love this standing chair. Everything I have asked for.

Amazing customer support
The chair is great. It literally saved me from back pain. It’s sturdy enough to lean on it or sit on it. Oh! And I’m almost 250lbs.My review is mostly about the customer service. There was some wear and tear on the seat cushion next to the handle and I reached out to Vivo to see if I could purchase a new cushion. Within minutes, I got a request to send a picture and an offer to ship a replacement at no cost. This experience alone makes me swear by Vivo. A brand that stand behind their products is rare and valuable these days.

Subpar customer service after encountering an issue with the product
Subpar customer service after encountering an issue with the product.EDIT:Item arrived with missing parts: most of the screws and the anti-fatigue mat. The seat cushion was also loose from the seat itself so I’m not even sure how long that would last if ever. Overall, this is NOT cosmetic issues from a refurbished/open box item. The product is unusable, useless and a waste of anyone’s time. Try to avoid anything that has to do with the product and refurbished items fulfilled by Amazon. It’s not worth the headache.

Great concept, but almost just as bad as standing!
The concept behind the product was great. But after using it for 10-20 minutes your shins start to hurt and your back to sitting. While sitting, since it has no back support it starts to hurt my back not too long after. Almost every position I tried had me uncomfortable. Honestly not worth the money.

Ergonomic
Lovely standing pad at base. Able to lean against curved stool top. Easily adjustable.

I am a tall desk person who constantly shifts position. I like the ability to sit, lean, or stand. The radical height adjustment is the point that makes this a great chair. Foot pad is thick and supportive, good for long days standing. The seat is wide and padded in the front for leaning. This whole surf board looking thing does a great job at keeping me from being uncomfortable, by giving me new options to lean or sit without slouching over the desk. There are two cylinders for the stool height. One operates with the foot pedal, one operates with the handle under the stool. I am 6ft, this goes as high as the middle of my back and low enough to mimic a lower office chair.Assembly is easy and straightforward. I would argue this is easier to assemble than a typical office chair.Con: The foot pad slips off the grip paper, it requires multiple adjustments through the day. There has to be a way, especially at this price, they could make clips or build in fasteners to keep this from sliding onto the floor.

Overall, a seemingly sturdy product⦠however there are cons⦠bear in mind I have not worked a full day on this stool yet, as it is still âoff gassingâ.1) anti-fatigue mat and stool âcushionâ, are both too strong in odor to work around yet. The chemical smell coming off of them is so strong, I havenât worked in my office for two days and have worked in another room.2) In the video I show the feet under the board. They are installed a 16th of an inch differentâ¦regardless of the sticky pad type âshimsâ they give you to level the base, it is still wobbly and slightly annoying.I will update this after using it for some time⦠That is once I can handle being around the strong odor.*****UPDATE*****Itâs been almost a month now⦠five days short of a month since I unboxed it anyway. The anti fatigue mat and the âpadâ that you sit on, both are a little stinky still with chemicals, but after a month, itâs less noticeable.Surprised it has taken this long to off-gas, and it still has a slight chemical odor⦠If you are sensitive to chemical smells, you may need to sit the fatigue mat and the seat cushion in the garage or something to off gas.

I had a bad experience with the perch chair and anticipated a similar experience with customer service. But to my surprise, they resolved the matter quickly and efficiently. I would even say a new standard has been set for response time and resolution with this company. I may not buy the chair again, but I would give the company another shot because of the great customer service.

I use it so far as more of a lean against seat, it will hold you in place at the desk. The fatigue pad stays in place it cannot slip or you can use the pad by itself to stand on as a fatigue mat. Sitting on it is kind of awkward and I use a pad that I have for that. If you run it all the way up __43″ measured to the high side on the back and then sit on it then weeeeeee you will feel like a kid with your legs dangling– very stable…(just do not lean back!!!)

Overall satisfied with the purchase. However it sways a bit when I sit on it. I tried to tightened up every screw I can find but to no avail.
