This cart is great! I am a homeschooling mom and needed a better option for storing and moving our school materials and books around our home, and this cart fit the bill. It took me 20-30 minutes to assemble the whole thing, with my kids helping. The directions arenât perfect, but it was easy enough to figure it out. All the pieces and parts fit together tightly, as I would expect them to. The castor wheels are strong and sturdy, and the entire thing rolls very easily on both tile and carpet. I love that the shelving is ever-so-slightly tilted backward, so thereâs no chance of books falling off the shelf if it gets bumped around. And my favorite part is the slot on the side of the shelf, which would work for magazines or one book, but I use it to hold my daily planner. As the daughter of a librarian and a former public school teacher, I can say that this cart maybe isnât as nice as the ones you would typically find in a library, but it works just as well. For the current price of less than $200, itâs a fantastic, more affordable option, that is solidly constructed. It definitely meets my needs, and I would order it again!

My wife used to be a librarian and has built a library in part of our house. Lots of bookshelves, tons of books and a good place to sit and read. She wanted a book cart for all the new books she gets and hasnât had time to file them yet (yes, she still uses a filing system and no, Iâm not allowed to file any books). This cart looked like a good option, not too big but big enough to be useful. The book cart came with some minor damage. A couple of the ends of the shelves were bent so I had to straighten those out, the locking mechanism on one of the wheels was off the spring, and there were some scratches on one of the shelves. Nothing serious but you donât expect damage. It doesnât take too much to put the cart together but is easier with two people. It bolts together and becomes very solid. Iâm not sure why they used the fasteners they did instead of just using standard nuts and bolts. These tend to stick out, might catch something, are silver against a black cart and overall look a little too industrial. But they work and hold the cart together. The wheels on the cart are very solid and smooth. I guess they should be for a cart full of books. They are big though and raise the cart up about 5 inches once you get them in. There is a lot of storage on the shelves, and they lean back a little, so books stay on them.Overall, a nice book cart, meant for more commercial/educational spaces than a home library but still works.

My first impression of this cart was how heavy it was in its box. It was hard for me to move into the house. My purpose was to build it for the garage on our farm. We have manuals for all kinds of equipment and I thought this might be a great way to keep them handy but organized. My husband had no trouble assembling it, but I do admit he loves putting things together. And he rarely uses the tools that are included, preferring power tools when appropriate. The cart is a good size – roomy but not oversized, and can really handle some weight. The wheels are of good quality, turn easily even with weight on the cart. My boys may also decide to use it as a tool cart, wheeling the tools needed for a particular job over to the piece of equipment. However they choose to use it, it is sure to be an added convenience to the garage. A worthwhile investment that I would make again.

The Rolling Book Cart’s assembly was challenging due to unclear instructions, detracting from the overall experience. While the cart is functional, the difficulty of assembly was disappointing. Clearer instructions would have greatly improved the assembly process, making it a more seamless experience.

I am so happy I got this book cart, it really is well built and really nice. I got it to use at home to keep books and other stuff mobile as needed – highly recommended. It took some time for me to put this together alone, it’s doable but the first step in attaching the side to the bottom shelf is most difficult. I would recommend a second person for that part if possible. Other than that between the directions and pictures of the cart from its product page it was fine to put together.Parts of the metal pieces came dinged but nothing serious enough to affect the durability and assembly of the product. The shelves are rated to a little over 100 LB but I think they can hold more if needed, they seem that strong. The side file holder or whatever it is, is a nice touch. The wheels on this thing are outstanding. They’re coated in rubber making them easy on whatever flooring they are used on. They swivel and roll with absolute ease, while also being super durable. I love it.
