Sturdy, Heavy, great quality/price
Family of four,We have no entry closet so this was the best alternative in the meantime. Definitely did not disappoint. Fits plenty of shoes, enough hooks,Although The wood seems hollow, and the metal scratches very easily but overall very excited, great deal.!

Looks as expected, but only after my husband fixed
There was some difficulty with putting the hooks on. My husband had to fix the “pre-drilled” holes. Disappointed and annoyed. We kept this product because it was too large and heavy to re-pack and take to courier. Once my husband fixed it, we placed it our newly renovated garage It is wide, vso it would not fit a small entryway.

Surprisingly good
Better than some Ikea stuff I’ve purchased recently. Easy enough to assemble with two people, and studier than I expected.

I leave a review mostly in response to the less happy reviews. In assembling, I found that some holes were not centered in a piece for particular reasons that revealed themselves, and all came together quite well. I took my time, only guessed wrong once. Sure, some zoom enlargements of pieces and holes would be an A+, even if it was a link to a site. For $100, I’m not expecting a slab of old forest cherry for a bench I’ll never sit on. We are in far northeastern Vermont, and have heavy winter coats–then summer or no jackets for the other 6 months. Our coats overwhelmed an antique sturdy coat rack that looks like it was used in the middle ages to burst castle doors. This is more sturdy, has more hooks for different weights of outerwear and scarves, and works great. I’m very pleased.

Its pretty simple, unexpensive, sturdy, and looks good. I like that I can move it to clean. Family of 5 so we got another 1. Total width for both 79″wide 73″ tall.

Built it by myself.I used just the tools provided. All parts fit perfectly.Took me 50 minutes to build (includes putting it in place and leveling it with the adjustable levels)I have a smaller townhouse with no downstairs closet. Add to that 10 YO twins and I be you understand the need for a place to put shoes and jackets (I used to have a bin we would throw our shoes in and we would just hang our jackets between the slats of the stairway)Anyway, this thing is perfect! The right size. Holds enough jackets with its 12 hooks and holds enough shoes with its two shelves. If you need something like this I would strongly recommend buying this product. And no, I wasn’t paid to say this. I’m just a dad that needed something like this. I paid for it and built. I don’t think you can find a better solution for the quality and the price.

Because of Covid we felt we needed a shoe / mask removal and storage station right next to the front door and this does the job perfectly. It’s rather light weight and not real wood (what do you expect for $100ish???) but looks heavier and far more substantial than it is. It’s more than sturdy enough for masks, hats and purses. The seat is perfect for putting on and taking off shoes. The shelves are handy storage for shoes, picnic blankets and a basket of sanitation supplies. The industrial look is perfect against the exposed brick in our loft.

This is a little higher priced than I would expect to pay for a shoe bench/coat rack. However, the size is really nice and it does look good. The wooden bench and the metal give it a slight rustic look. As a grown man, I probably will not do much sitting on the bench. I think it’ll hold my weight, but I can see the screws loosening up over time if you move around on it too much. Overall, I am happy with the purchase and would buy this product again.Putting it together is a minor hassle as you have to screw in all the hooks and the screws don’t always want to fit together. I had to loosen some of the screws up to wiggle the components around so all the pieces would fit. When you are putting together the metal frame and the bench, I would leave the screws a little loose until everything is put together and then tighten them down. If you have arthritis, the hooks are going to be a real pain with the provided screwdriver.
