Great purchase!
I had to purchase this product because the price was low and another store was selling it for a higher price point.It is definitely worth the price because the built quality is sturdy. The material is strong. I do like the leveller? You can adjust the height of your monitor using the leveller and placing them in different height slot.The packaging was great. Felt very premium. The high dense foam definitely protected it from dents and scratches during transportation.It is quite big so measure your desk or space. For me itâs fine as I do work electronically and donât need much space for textbooks and other sorts of documents.

A real disappointment
Of the 4 levels specified in the listing, only 2 actually work, as the instructions admit. You can put the computer on the two levels, but can’t tilt the screen so it is straight up and down. This is my chief complaint; the level that would work best for me isn’t possible to use. The front plate is held on with magnets, but they aren’t very strong. In the unit I received, the front plate had a slight bow to it, meaning only one side of the plate can be used–turn it around and the magnets don’t hold it in place. The unit is heavy and has rubber feet; that means you can’t slide the unit and computer around. I put silicon feet on it so I can slide the computer to the side when necessary, but the fact that I can’t put the computer on the best level means I can’t use it.

It’s worth EVERY nickel!
Every once in a while, I find that I buy something that I feel was really worth it, even if it was a bit on the pricey side. Well, this stand falls in that category. Can you live without this stand? Sure. But if you want to feel good about a purchase and about yourself (because this thing makes you feel like a million bucks) … then buy it! You sit in front of your computer monitor a lot, right? So if you were to cost out all that time in front of your computer and compare that cost of seeing this beautiful and functional piece of design … versus seeing two stacks of 8 1/2 x 11 sheets of paper under your Mac, then you know it’s worth it before even buying it. You can find some good video reviews on You Tube. You’ll see that it’s well built and highly functional to create storage space under your Mac. The only thing that I noticed is that it’s heavy to move around on your desk once the Mac is sitting in it but once your Mac is in place and if you don’t need to move it … the weight issue is not an issue at all. I purchased mine from the Apple.ca site under Mac / accessories. You know it’s good when Apple has it on their site!

measure your monitor base first!
I am using the HiRise with an HP Envy 4K monitor, not the iMac. I lucked out and the monitor stand just barely fit the inner base. Measure twice, buy once! The unit is much heavier and sturdier than expected. Its very expensive but I prefer it much more than the generic ones I found on Amazon. If you can afford it, I recommend it. However, the wood panel front panel looks cheap; I much prefer the matching space gray cover instead.

I got one for my parents a few years ago and it is ok but I got a defected one as an early Christmas present, It is a nice looking heavy box with a shelf in the center. Check that your shelf has a v shaped grooved strip on both sides. (not just one) Mine came with it on only one side (I thought that was odd when taking it out of box.) so when I put it together it was too short and not locked in securely. I went through the box and nothing else on desk so I took out desk to make sure it did not fall off. It was nowhere to be found so I assumed it was a redesign for a newer model. I woke up to a crash at 2 am. the shelf slipped out of side dropping my Mac on the floor cracking the screen, bent the Mac stand and gouged my wooden floors in a new home. This needs to be recalled unless an employee just missed putting one on. If its hits your foot or your children or pet it could kill them. So I sent it back for an Amazon credit, you can not get money back on credit card used. So now I am looking for a different brand with a computer with cracks all over the screen and will have to replace bent base or just take the hit and give this to some of the tornado victims that I know for a kid to play on. It might not bother their eyes but my 61 year old cataract, trifocal glasses pick up the cracks. I so wanted this to work because it looks good, is very heavy and well built other than my shelf not having the side strip installed. If you get one double check that it has a strip v shaped on both sides of shelf. If it hit your foot, pet or child it could kill someone.

Elegant solution to change the height of your iMac and provide some extra, hidden storage. Easy to assemble and solid construction. Loss of one star due to 3 of the magnets almost immediately pulling out of their holes. I fixed with some standard super glue and they havenât fallen out since but at this price I expect perfection.

Used for my LG 5K 27″ display and all fits fine but several of the magnets that hold on the front cover came off immediately. I had to use super glue to reinstall. Otherwise a nice stand although I feel over priced.

Yes this is obviously very overpriced. But there really is nothing else like it that I have found so I REALLY hoped I would love it and it would be worth the splurge. As soon as I opened it I noticed that the top pad was already peeling off, it easily couldâve been fixed with superglue or I exchanged and maybe not have that issue on a different one. Unfortunately, though my monitor does not fit in the shelf. I have a Dell monitor (S2422HZ) so I knew it was a gamble, but based on the dimensions I thought it would fit. It does fit on top instead of inside on the shelf with about a millimeter or two overhang on each side. I debated using it that way but the sleek aesthetic was gone. I will say I did not have issues with the stand itself not aligning, it was easy to put together, and would have been very appealing if my monitor actually fit inside.
