This works great! Sturdy materials, and it’s nice and spacious. The top of the table feels nice and resistant, so I don’t feel paranoid about spilling anything on it and instantly ruining it.If you are confused by the different lengths of the legs when you unpack it, here is the solution: Use one of the little t-shaped tabs to press down on the little nub in the top of the leg. You’ll feel it click, but keep pressing down harder until it clicks a SECOND time, and the pneumatic will engage and the leg will extend to its full length. From there, assembly takes a matter of mere minutes.

I needed a standing desk for a small space that was not motorized. And I wanted a desk that was lower than 28″ at its lowest point to not put strain on my shoulders and wrists when typing while seated. These qualities are difficult to find so I was happy to find this desk! It was relatively straightforward to assemble (watch the video!) except for one defective screw that I had to replace. Its main drawbacks are that it can feel slightly wobbly when in standing position (understandable given that it’s small and relatively lightweight) and the mechanism for raising and lowering is a bit stiff. To lower it, you need to apply a bit of force. Once started, it’s fine. To get something smoother and sturdier would cost a great deal more. For my needs, this was a good value and I’m happy that I can work comfortably both sitting and standing. It accommodates my external monitor as well as a laptop. 4.5 stars

I am happy with this desk, but I did have an issue setting it up that I thought maybe others would benefit hearing in case you are having the same problem. I built everything correctly, but the adjustable legs were VERY hard to slide in their casings. BEFORE you put the last 2 desk top pieces on, I highly recommend you manually push the adjustment buttons with the plastic T pieces and slide it up and down a few times to help loosen it up. It’s now working, but it is still difficult to get it to go down. Up is fine…it wants to shoot up actually lol Hopefully this will get easier the more I use it and it loosens up, but dang…my arms are sore and I’m 35 and lift weights.

Original Below.After more than a yearâs daily use, I remain content even pleased with this purchase. In terms of durability it has proven remarkably strong and bulletproof. It has survived movers, myklutzy wheelchair use, and, for the last 8 months, daily studio use.In the music studio it supports one of my most oft used synthesizers, along with a computer keyboard, trackpad, a clamp style work light and a 27â monitor on a clampâon arm. It handles this load without complaint, though with little space left over. Iâve been surprised at how durable the top is. While it looks nice enough, under touch itâs clearly a plastic material over some kind of pseudo-wood. Nonetheless, in spite of clamps, wheelchair hits, and a nearly unreasonable load, itâs still undamaged and unblemished. So, I remain impressed- enough so that Iâve bought another.°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°Original Review:Iâm 15 years plus in a wheelchair and always on the lookout for furnishings and equipment that might make my life simpler. This table fits the bill. Itâs large enough to eat or read at, or for using with a laptop or iPad. It moves easily on hardwood or tile floors. Itâs a bit tough over carpet, but the wheels could easily be upsized after a visit to the home repair/ hardware store. Height adjustment requires some strength, but would be easy enough for most paraâs and even a few quadâs like e that have shoulder strength.The table seems well made and like it will hold up well. Count me impressed.

I use this for playing a Japanese DJ game called Beatmania IIDX, specifically Infinitas (the PC version). I like to switch between standing and sitting, just like when I play this at the arcade. I couldn’t find a table that was sturdy enough or tall enough that would allow me to properly sit with my lap UNDER the table…that is, until I came across this table! The assembly was not difficult at all but here’s a protip: if your table legs arrive with different lengths, use the two plastic T-shaped pieces on the bottoms of them to make them extend fully before attaching them (this is shown in a later step in the instruction manual). This table works perfectly for playing Beatmania IIDX while seated, I’m so happy I found this! Another protip: when adjusting the height of the table, use a level on top to ensure it isn’t extended too high/low on one side. You can gently adjust the height of each side independently to ensure you get a level height overall.
