Iâd buy another
Was hesitant as some of you said in reviews it came broken. Ours was packaged very very well with no broken pieces. Took about 2 hours for my fiancé and friend to assemble. It looks great!

The wood seems sturdy and the dresser itself is a great size but it came with a broken piece, nothing major that compromised the structure. Looks great once you’re able to put it together, the drawings in the instructions are not the easiest to understand and the final results is OK, but not too bad for the price (got it on black friday sale)

I was worried that there would be damaged parts when it arrived as the box was in rough shape, but they did a good job of protecting everything with the packing and everything was fine. It went together easily following the instructions. The only issue (and why I didnât give 5 stars) was the âpush pinâ gizmos. Other reviews warned about pounding them in with a mallet and breaking through the other side, some went in all the way pushing with thumb as instructed but others would only go in about 2/3 of the way. I did not trust them to provide proper strength so I used pocket screws along with them to be sure (see photo). The other concern was that without a front barrier or rail of some sort a child could roll out the front and fall. I fabricated my own solution and matched the paint so it would look good. When the baby outgrows the changing table the additional piece just slides out so it becomes a dresser.

This is a great piece of furniture and my husband and I were very excited upon its arrival. Everything seems sturdy and the fasteners are hidden well behind the legs to so as to not be seen once together. However, after getting halfway through the dresser installation, we noticed the top piece is cracked in half, at the front, along with a 6″ scrape leaving the entire dresser unusable. Although I was asked if a paint repair kit could fix the damage, (not a great start) the customer service rep I spoke with was polite and we received very prompt confirmation that the top piece would be replaced. Order processing was supposed to take 1 to 4 business days, which is respectable, at which time a tracking number of the replacement would be provided. However, almost 2 weeks later, I have emailed twice and called once, receiving a polite, but unhelpful customer service representative. She frustratingly repeated the 1 to 4 business days claim for parts in stock and few days more for parts not stock, disregarding the 10 business days that have already passed. She went further and stated that “they” have not alerted her that the part is on back order for any reason, but could not give me an updated time. This is unacceptable. All I ask is for honesty. If she would have said the normal lead time on a replacement is 1 to 3 weeks, I would have been more accepting of the current duration. We ordered the nursery furniture at 5.5 months thinking 3 months was enough time. Now I don’t know. Hopefully, this review will be revised shortly if Storkcraft gains a bit of professional integrity.***UPDATE 01/16/15***After a little more than a month we finally have everything we need to complete the dresser. It looks great and there was a mild delay, but I must commend Stork Craft for getting everything taken care of. All in all, I will probably recommend this company in the future, as mistakes happen and they stood for their product. Thank you Stork Craft.

Missing handle, damaged side, instructions were a little confusing. Able to get it together. The color is nice and the overall product is okay.

Overall this is one of the better quality pieces of self assemble furniture that Iâve gotten. Definitely more than satisfied with the quality for the price. We intend to use it as a changing table and itâs a good height and size for that. The only two issues I had are 1) the color. We knew we were taking a chance, but due to the space limitations, we had to get 5 different pieces of gray furniture from 4 different manufacturers. They are all basically the same color and go well together except this one which is significantly darker. Not really their fault, but it is challenging to find other pieces that it matches. 2) there are a few plastic push pins used during assembly. The instructions say to push them in with your thumb, but I couldnât get them to go in easily so I gave them a couple light taps with a rubber hammer(I always keep a rubber hammer handy when assembling furniture) and 4 of them popped off pieces right on the upper sides of the dresser. Again, not entirely the manufacturers fault, but the head of the pin should bottom out before the end is allowed to bust through the outside of the piece.
