I was nervous when buying this bed for my son. The reviews were bad, but the price was right, and it offered what i needed, so i took the chance. Man was i right about this one. Bed is solid AF, no extra supports, braces, pieces of wood, or legs added. I am a carpenter, with many years of experience, so i took my time, and i built it according to specs, with the materials given to me in the package, and i ended up with a great bed for my teenage son. My 6 year old uses it as his indoor trampoline, and i’m not even concerned about the bed. So if you want a good bed for a fantastic price, this is it. TAKE YOUR TIME BUILDING IT, and if you are new to building, ask for help from someone that has held a drill before. And you wont regret it

You think good bang for your buck but no.
While putting together it continued to fall apart as the pieces werenât long enough to stay in place. (Shown in picture)Bed was scratched in numerous places, but I didnât want to send it back so we assembled it anyways. This was one of the worst things Iâve ever assembled and Iâve put together a lot a few beds and lots of other things before. Typically find it enjoyable. I didnât enjoy this.The drawers didnât line up and even are actually too small for the space they go in so they donât even stay on their track.Iâm not taking the bed apart because it was annoying to build, I would bet that some people got a better bed when they purchased this⦠but I would not recommend taking your chances.

Two-hour assembly time. HA! More like 5 hours. This thing is heavy and shouldn’t be moved after assembly. Easily broken if you try to relocate it to a new area after assembly. Build it where you will be using it! 🙂

Donât waste your money
As soon as we started building the bed it already started chipping and breaking in various places. 6 months in, the entire left side drawer literally broke apart cause of the cheap wood. And now a little over a year in, the entire surface area where the mattress lays is also falling apart. On top of that the corners of the bed are super sharp and the amount of times weâve walked into them and injured ourselves is insane, so careful if you have kids running around with this bed. Definitely not worth the price or the headache of putting it together.

Inexpensive option, packaged poorly
Really appreciate the storage options with the two drawers. That being said it wasn’t package well and a lot of the pieces were damaged on their finished sides.Very disappointed with this.

Pretty much got what I expected. The bed went together just like any flat pack piece of furniture. Instructions were fine, clear, legible, easy to follow. The package IS heavy, sorry delivery peopleâ¦. I brought each of the pieces inside and to the room separately. The drawers are bigger than I thought. I wish it could have come with a roll of stick on felt for the bottom, though. And finally, the bed seems sturdy enough once assembled.

I had such high hopes for this bed. I needed a bed with a blocked off base to keep pets from going under, and the platform and drawers on this seemed perfect. Then I got it. While putting the frame together, it was quickly apparent that the pieces didn’t fit together properly. The holes on certain pieces were drilled in the wrong spot or something, because it was extremely apparent with the top boards not lining up along the edges. I let that go, figuring the comfortor would cover the edge so it wouldn’t be an issue.Then the drawer issue happened. See, the bottom of each drawer is not made of the same material as the sides or front. Rather, it was more like a thick particle board that slipped into ridges in bottom of each side to stay in place. The way that the construction was, however, made it so that whenever you put any items of weight into the drawers, the bottom would bow, and would slip out of the ridge at the back of the drawer (even after I tried using wood glue to keep it all together). The result is not being able to close the drawer if it’s opened all the way because the bowed bottom would catch on the bottom base of the drawer opening, meaning I would have to take everything out of the drawer, detach the drawer, try to put the bottom back in place, and then very carefully put stuff back in. The drawers were also extremely hard to open, which may have been more an issue with being on carpet than the actual bed, but it was still frustrating.Which brings me to my most recent experience with the bed: trying to move it. Yesterday, I needed to rearrange my room due to a new furniture addition. My bookshelves, headboard, everything else moves with no issue (and they’re all the same material as the bed, just different makers). Then I moved my mattress to move the bedframe. Firstly, the two panels of the bed at the top were bowing. I’ve had this bed for maybe two months if that. The piece that goes down the middle to support those pieces only ran along the top and not down to the floor for some reason, and that piece had cracked and broken. I was still determined to move it and continue to use it – until I tried to lift it. My boyfriend and I were both trying to move the frame just across the room and it was not happening. The top panels, having not been able to line them up or fasten them to each other due to the crappy hole drilling, would come up and make it difficult to lift. We turned it on its side and everything was loose. (I know it may sound like it was just user error while building, but I assure you it’s not; I’ve had a lot of furniture like this that I’ve built myself and this is the first one that has come apart like it has.) In the end, we just slid the frame out to the dumpster and left it there, and now I’m just using the collapsible frame I used before.I probably would have been able to use the frame much longer if I didn’t have to move it, but it’s definitely one of those things that stays wherever you build it forever. I know you really shouldn’t expect much from this type of furniture, and it kind of makes sense since this is one of the cheapest in this style on amazon, but trust me. Spend a little more and get something better.

I was able to put together by myself, not too difficult to do. Instructions not very clear, but with some patience I was able to figure it out. I gave it 3 stars for 2 reasons. 1st it’s not super sturdy, will not recommend for household with children who may jump on bed. 2nd, I was more disappointment with this one, board M has the holes were drilled on the white side, which sits inside, out of view, and the the back of the board is the ugly press-wood brown. I would uploaded pictures, but I was unable to do so ð

So my husband and I bought this thinking that this was such a nice simple bed frame and not much could go wrong with it. Unfortunately the screw holes weren’t lined up properly so we ended up having to make our own, and while I was folding laundry in the closet, my husband went to lay on it, and his back fell through the wood boards, and the support beam had snapped in two. Now he’s not exactly super tiny but coming in at a whopping 185 he’s not the largest man ever either. Regardless, we did our best to fix what we could but this bedframe was a huge mistake, and a waste of money.

My son just moved out on his own and this was the set he picked. He was able to put it together by himself and has enjoyed it thus far. I highly recommend for anyone on a budget looking for space saving pieces.
