Misleading information about the weight it can hold.
Assembling the printer desk took about 2 hours and I found the instructions easy to follow. However, the end piece is not so sturdy. The doors will not align no matter how much I tried to fix it. The description says it can hold up to 50lbs weight on the top and I find that rather misleading. Placing my inkjet printer that weighs less than 10lbs on the top of the cart obstructs the sliding in and out of the top drawer. I’m really disappointed with this purchase, the whole intent was to hold the printer but it’s not doing a good job. I do not recommend this product.

Received the package with a damage plank and a damaged caster. It was very easy to request replacements using the company’s website, and I received the replacement parts within a few days. Very impressed with the service. It is when something goes wrong that one gets to truly evaluate the service and support. The unit itself is of ok quality, but overall a good value for the price.

Holds Everything That I Need For Printing
This is a well packaged printer stand, the instruction is very well documented and easy to follow, not difficult to put together if you follow all steps; feels solid and sturdy with my Canon iP8720 Wireless Printer on the top; this furniture exceeds my expectation. I highly recommend this to everybody who is looking for a printer stand at home.

I wanted a piece of furniture to put my Silhouette Cameo cutting machine on, with enough storage for the pens, blades, vinyl rolls, and 12″x12″ sheets of cardstock and such that I use with it. This unit is sturdy and reasonably attractive (for pre-fab furniture), and fits perfectly in my space. The instructions specified that it required two people for assembly, but I had no trouble doing it on my own in under an hour.A few notes for others who might be considering this:- The installation instructions are among the better I’ve seen, and they included extra parts. Everything was well packaged and well labeled.- The drawer bottom seems a little flimsy, so if you need to store heavy items in the drawer, it’ll likely need some kind of reinforcement. The manual says it will hold 25 pounds, but I’m skeptical.- The shelf behind the double doors doesn’t run the full depth of that area; there’s probably a 2-inch gap between its front edge and the doors when closed. I couldn’t tell that from the product pictures.- When assembling, I’d recommend using a square to make sure everything is exactly true before nailing on the back panel. Mine is off by a tiny bit, causing the doors to be very slightly out of alignment (only a cosmetic problem).- The drawer/door handles are plastic but nonetheless feel sturdy.- The height specified in the product description (27 1/4″) is without the wheels. With the wheels attached, it’s 29 1/4″.

I ordered this printer stand to match the computer desk that I purchased from the same company. The stand is very solid and has a good amount of space. The wheels make the stand very easy to move. It took me awhile to assemble because many of the parts and screws and or dowels were not marked. I have to say their computer desk was very well marked. On my stand I left off the guide they had for wires or cords, because my printer is wireless and I did not need. Overall good job on stand matches desk perfectly in color.

This storage unit is very sturdy and a great, larger size to use as a printer stand. Assembly looked intimidating at the start, but my husband and I had it together in just over an hour. Unfortunately, right at the end, we broke a plastic spring peg that holds one of the doors in place. Completely our fault, and I thought I was willing to live with it, but the door falls off every time I open it. So I emailed the company on a Saturday morning asking if I could buy a replacement part. They not only answered the very next day–a Sunday!–but are sending me the part free of charge. That’s great customer service! And I love the new cabinet. You have a drawer, a shelf, and hidden storage behind doors, all in a compact, sturdy unit. Highly recommend.

Overall, this is a great printer stand. It is sturdy and simple to put together. As you can expect from items in this price range, some of the pressboard parts may arrive damaged. Especially when they are shipped by UPS. South Shore is very well prepared for this. Their customer support is very easy to work with and they got a replacement part to me very quickly. I would be happy to do business with them again.

They promised on the instructions that installation would take 30 minutes with two people. By myself, I was able to complete the project within 45 minutes – which is why I gave it four stars instead of three.PROS: All you need to have on you for installation is a phillips head screwdriver and a hammer; everything else is supplied. Installation really is, for the most part, very straightforward and fast. The finished product feels pretty sturdy. It looks very nice and has locking wheels so it doesn’t roll all willy-nilly when you want it to be still.CONS: The drawer bottom is a thin, more-durable-than-box-cardboard cardboard, but I can see the drawer holding 15 pounds worth of items, as promised. The cord holder in the back didn’t seem to fit the screws you’re supposed to use with it. They were to short and too thick, so with the slightest pressure, it was yanked right off. I decided to cut my losses and just leave it off, as that wasn’t a huge deal to me. The only true problem I had was that the instructions didn’t really tell you how to assemble the drawer. I went completely through the instructions twice before simply doing it myself; thankfully, it was an easy enough concept to grasp, except I ended up messing up which drawer slider bracket thingy went on which side, and I stripped my screws trying to get them off and switched around.Overall, I like it. There are a few cons, but nothing to make me feel like it’s not worth the money. We are using it in our office as a workstation beside the printer to hold extra paper reams, hole punch, stapler, etc., so nothing heavy duty, though I imagine it would do fine holding something on top that weighs around 50 pounds.
