I was thinking of getting a new mattress but I was short in founds so I decided to give this a try and it was one of my best purchases.

This mattress topper is a bit less cushy than I expected, but for being listed as medium-firm I’d say it’s about right. We have an old firm mattress without any cushion on top and it’s been very hard on our joints to sleep on. This mattress pad helped relieve the pressure on our joints and made the bed MUCH more comfortable, without being too squishy to easily get out of. Anywhere there was direct pressure on the pad it would compress well, but where weight is evenly distributed over a large area, it hardly compresses at all (see compression in the photo with my dogs testing it out).
Upon arrival it didn’t take too long to air out and decompress- I think it was ready to go in about 8 hours. I also LOVE that this company has the climate friendly badge on it! We did not notice a direct cooling benefit from this foam topper, but we haven’t quite reached hot summer nights here yet, either.

I do like that it has hooks so it can connect to the mattress the original Mattress that is. Also has a nice firm but Soft gel and is breathable which I like because I’ve had a foam pad which may be very hot when I slept in the past this one doesn’t do that. I would overall recommend this product. I won’t get a perfect score because I don’t believe I’ve had it long enough to give it a perfect score. But if things don’t change in 6 months I would have given it a top rating. I would recommend a mattress cover for it so you can protect it and keep it clean prolonging his life.
