Good sturdy chair.
Very durable, but isn’t the most comfortable. Don’t rear back on the chair, it will probably break. Upgrade to the large castor wheels down the road. Still using mine after 3 years, and it’s never broken down….so can’t complain. Could pad my backside better though.

Second Rate Garbage — DO NOT BUY
Product is sub-standard for the same price as quality chairs in the same class. The chair back is held on by two screws and a prayer — there is no structural brace. Do not lean backward in this chair. The caster wheels are among the worst I’ve seen. These will destroy your floors in days, if not hours. The cushion is extremely firm at first, but it has already started to sag and deflate, and I’ve only had the chair for a while. And on top of all that, my apartment smells like grease from an auto-shop.I legitimately feel like I’ve been a victim of a bait-and-switch and feeling extreme buyer’s remorse.The worst part is that the chair was expensive, so now I have to suffer with the consequences of someone else’s greed.

The seat is nice and wide. The back has good cushioning.
I also like that the chair goes down quite low so if your legs aren’t like stilts, the chair is still comfortable.

Item looked like it had been refurbished
Came in pieces but not difficult to assemble. I did get a good look at the innards and was disappointed. Most parts looked damaged like it was recycled or reject production parts. I saw weld repairs, deformed trim, assembly grooves looked like they had been pried by something. The leather seat and back looked ok but arm rests have missing stitches. Not worth price. I wonât say Serta is a bad brand more like the seller is selling junk.

Easy setup
i replaced my old Serta Big and tall chair from 2020. I was happy with it but it was showing wear. Still sturdy but pleather quality changed slightly. Ugly yellowed white screw covers no longer. Arm rests are better placed in this 2022/3 update.

I’ve had this chair for a few weeks and I really can’t say that I like it or not. This chair is not similar to any Serta chair that I have used in the past. I am over 100 pounds less than what this chair is rated for yet the seat padding seems to be losing its’ effect and is becoming less comfortable daily. There is little lower back support, which is becoming an issue. Right now I am at the point where I am unsure if I will keep the chair or not.Update: Amazon authorized a return of this item, but before I boxed it up my neighbour tried it out and liked it and bought it from me for the same price I paid. So as far as a rating goes I would give it 2 stars while my neighbour would give it 4 stars. Ergo the compromise of 3 stars.

A very comfortable high-quality chair. Chair shopping is very frustrating, people have VERY polarized opinions on chairs; one person could think its the best chair ever, while the other thinks its the worst chair they’ve ever sat on. I am a larger (295lbs 6′) person and have trouble finding comfortable chairs that have enough support and padding. This one has very good cushioning all around, very thick and high-quality foam, its noticeable. The chair is designed for “big & tall” people, so it naturally sits up a bit higher than most office chairs, totally fine for me and tall people, but shorter people will probably have their feet hanging in mid-air, so keep that in mind.Chair was easy and quick to set up (I’ve assembled MANY of these types of chairs in the past) and included the needed Hex Key wrench to tighten the included bolts. The material looks and sounds like real leather, but is not, its “PU Leather”, another name for “Plastic designed to mimic leather”. This isn’t a problem for me (genuine leather chairs are VERY expensive), the material seems durable and attractive and should hold up to longtime use.All-in-all this is an affordable, very comfortable, high-quality office chair, designed for big & tall people, that seems to be built to a higher quality standard than most office chairs at this price-point. I would highly recommend.

Overall a decent chair for the price. Cushion will sink with use. The back is not high enough. I am 5’7″ and my head does not touch the back of the chair. Also the lumbar support is too low near the seat resulting in it pushing against my butt rather than a little higher in the lumbar region. If the back support is fixed to sit a little higher it would solve both issues of the lumbar arch sitting in the lumbar region and the top of the back at head height.For short persons the chair may be OK but for anyone above 5′ 5″ it may be just a little too short in the back.No other issues with the product with material or manufacture or missing parts or inadequate instructions etc.

the chair is fairly comfortable but is too tall for my 5′ 6″ body and the desk I use. I had changed the coasters for the ceramic floor in the room where my desk is. The special ceramic floor coasters made the chair even higher than the ones that come with the chair so I switched them back. Not desirable but not a deal killer either. I would have rated the chair with 5 stars if is wasn’t so high. It is the highest chair I have ever purchased. Assembly was pretty straight forward but did need a little convincing to get it completed. Overall; happy.
