Worth the Price – Works Perfectly
Perfect for our purpose! We wanted guests who stay in the living room to have some privacy. The white panels are like a fabric/papery material and not 100% opaque, you can see shadows but it’s good enough for what we wanted. Also not the most sturdy so we put some weights on either side for extra support. It will stay up on its own but my rowdy cats could knock it over if they tried.Definitely worth the price, and compared to other room dividers, this one seems like one of the better ones.

Execellent room divider & background for video calls
Because of the pandemic, I’ve been working from home. I don’t have a home office (yet), so I have to do video calls from my room. To keep my coworkers and whoever else I’m calling from seeing my bed, closet, shelves, etc., I got this stylish room divider. It folds up to a size of 1785 x 435 x 85 mm, which is small enough to fit snugly into an unused space next to a shelf. Each of the hinges can fold in either direction, so that gives lots of flexibility with how you set it up, and as long as it’s not totally straight it won’t tip over. The white fabric sheets stretched across each pane seems reasonably durable, and my cats haven’t destroyed it (yet). Unfortunately the thin wood lines running in a grid across the fabric is only on one side, which lowers durability, and makes one side look better than the other. The other reason I’m only giving this 4 stars is because some of the paint seems to have been worn off. It’s also a pretty expensive product, so my expectations are pretty high. Still, it does the job, looks great, and hardly takes up any space when folded up, so I’m happy with it.

this is the best thing I’ve bought for my house, I’m a broke and living in a bachelor- it is the perfect size to create the illusion of separation from your room to the kitchen, it reflects a cool shadow, and is overall the best thing I’ve ever bought. please get this. you need it.

Great item. Plain and simple and still stylish. I got exactly what I paid for compared to the more expensive room dividers. It’s very light weight. The panels are only on one side but that doesn’t bother me. There are no leg supports if you want to extend it straight but I already knew that. The wood is nicely painted and did not have any smell to it. It blocks the view and still allows light to pass through. I pushed it a few times lightly to see if it would fall but it didn’t. I would recommend this product.

Overall, I like this screen. After searching and searching, the price isn’t bad. It was just under $90 with shipping and I didn’t want to spend hundreds on a relatively insignificant part of my decor.QUALITY:The screen material is definitely synthetic, it’s meshy – kind of like the backing material you’d use for embroidery. It does feel cheap, but I won’t be handling the screen very often, so I don’t mind that.The wood is very evenly stained, but it had a slight woody/stain smell to it that has seemed to dissipate after a few days.The hinges – this is part 1 of why it’s only 4 stars instead of 5 – the hinges were unevenly screwed in (the screws were poking out at different lengths, not plumb at all. I was able to fix this with Phillips and it seems to help. The other issue with the hinges is that the center panels seem to be not as well aligned with the outer panels and it makes the center pretty wobbly. I could probably unscrew the hinges and reassemble it, but it’s not worth the time to do that. It DOES stand on its own plus I was able to brace it against a book case and that’s helped, but I wouldn’t put it in any high traffic area unless you have some kind of support. The unevenness was especially noticeable because of my hardwood floors.LOOK:The cherry is a little brighter red than the photos portray, but it adds a nice warm color to the room of dark browns, reds, oranges and gray-blues.The screens look great with lighting behind them and the material doesn’t look as cheap as it feels.From even a short distance, it looks great and gives the right amount of partition I needed as well as blocks the wind from the opening door.My roommate likes it so much that she wants to order a second one for the living room (she’s a fashion editor and our apartment is very well decorated).FUNCTIONALITY:Like I mentioned, the center panels are a bit wobbly. My other issue is that the gaps between the panels are bigger than I’d like (part 2 of the reason for 4 stars instead of 5), BUT it still lends to enough privacy to change behind it or block the wind from the door opening (again, as long as you have something lending it some structure).I was trying to decide between this and the 3-panel one and I’m definitely GLAD I went with this one. If there was a 5 panel, it would be even better. The 4-panel won’t quite hide an entire Queen Size bed, but it will hide most of it and give you the partition you want.SHIPPING:It was here something close to 5 days earlier than it was promised. VERY impressed with that. It had no scratches, the box was very well back and used minimal space. I couldn’t be happier. I would prefer it if they offered free shipping (I’d buy 2 or 3 screens instead of just one), but it was manageable.

This is decent looking item, although like other reviewers have said the wood is a red, not brown. However, you should be aware that the item is very fragile. The paper forms the white screen will tear very easily if you put any pressure on it (say, picking it up and accidentally putting a thumb on the paper). Moreover, the screws on the hinges are not attached well at all and come out if you folding and unfolding it. I bought this as a temporary, movable divider and screen that I could bring out when needed and fold back up and put in a closet when not, but folding it up and moving it every week or so quickly caused it to fall to pieces as the hinges have detached. It’s actually held together by black duct tape now. It still works fine as a divider because I don’t care about the backside, but for $100+ I would have hoped it would have been somewhat more durable.
