Very good and adaptable chair
This is the best office chair I have ever had. It has many settings that allow for customizing the positions (the back support, the foldable footrest, the chair balance and inclination, etc. ). I have been using it for a year now, and so far so good. The construction is sturdy enough for my weight, but I am quite skinny at the moment (less than 60 kgs / 135 lbs), so I am not sure how this chair would support somebody double my weight taking into account the lightweight material used in its construction, more specifically the foldable footrest attached to the chair. It is possible to sleep in this chair, and use it to meditate in a comfortable position. It is also of course very useful to work at my desk.If I could improve it, I would make sure it allows to sit higher than its actual maximum height, as I find it a bit short for my present office desk at home, and improve the sturdiness of the footrest attach beneath the chair. Other than that I am quite satisfied with it at the moment. Of course, it is an expensive office chair, all these adjustment possibilities it offers are not free, but it could still be improved upon.

Magnificently Comfortable Chair
Super comfortable for home /ofc use and especially for napping/reclining. Iâm 6â1â and 230 lb, and this chair has so many adjustments it easily fits all of me in all positions. Same for wife at 5â7â and 145 lb. Delivered early, v sturdy packaging. footrest and headrest satisfactory. Excellent adjustable lumbar support. Seat slides forward, so you can shift your center of gravity forward and never have to worry about tipping over backwards when youâre in reclining position. Iâm in a small apartment, and thereâs insufficient room for a bulky barco-lounger type chair, so this one takes up little space, and does double duty for home/ofc work at the table, and for watching football/napping. Thank you designers. Wld give 6 stars if I could. 20 min assembly, great ergonomics. Better than Eames or Aeron, which I had at the office for years.Update 2 months later:Have used chair for a couple months now, find it continues to be excellent- nothing has broken, all adjustments work well, I got replacement clear wheels so thereâs be no marks on the hardwood floor. The footrests are strong and easily hold my leg weight (unlike some other chair products reviewed). super glad I got the leg rests, use them with the recline feature for a nap everyday after work. .Update at 8 months:Semi retired , 6â1â 230 lb. Have used this wonderful legrest reclining chair 8 months now, 4 hr/day working, then 2 hr napping/sleeping. Small pillows for napping on headrest and footrest. Solid, not a single complaint. Still would give it 6 stars.Update 14 months since bought it; because of my balance problems, I use it 7 days a week, 6-8 hours a day:: still perfect, 6 stars if I could. The reviewer who gave it one star with multiple criticisms either got a defective edition of the chair, or he has a hypercritical personality. I read his review and being a psychologist, Iâm reading between the lines, I think the latter. I hate to see anyone put down a really good product.

Lumbar support
Like all the features but the material and craftmanship is not up to par. Especially, all the locking functions are not precise. The footrest is not sturdy enough. The lumbar support strength adjustment does not seem to work at all. Overall, it is a good chair but not worth the price paid.

Purchased instead of X-Chair
Initially I had my heart set on an x-chair but my wife researched and found this one and ordered it. The chair came sooner than expected which was great! It was easy to assemble. I am a big and tall shopper so I had some concerns about the neck rest, the lumbar support and the width and depth of the seat but once I adjusted it (lots of adjustments available), I no longer had those concerns. The one thing I did not think Iâd use was the pull out foot rest and when I tried it the weight of my legs seemed like it was going bend and I was worried that it would not slide back in â I stopped using that feature â but if it felt stronger I would be using it because it is a great feature when reclining. Maybe Iâm using it wrong? All in all, rated 5 stars because it is a really great chair.

Out of 5 ergonomic chairs, this is the best
I have tried the steelcase leap v2, nightingale cxo, and various gaming chairs. This chair is by far the most comfortable, supportive, and adjustable. The value of this chair is way higher than the price. Thank you for helping my back pain as well.

Disappointed by the Comfort Level of this Chair
I recently acquired a new office chair, looking forward to the promise of ergonomic support and comfort during my long working hours. However, after spending less than one week using it, I feel compelled to share my disappointment, particularly regarding its comfort level.Comparatively, I have previously owned a Steel Case chair, which served me exceptionally well. This set my expectations for what a quality office chair should feel like, which is why my recent purchase has been such a letdown. Most notably, the back support, or lack thereof, in my new chair, is a significant issue for me. It fails to offer the necessary support, leaving me uncomfortable shortly after I begin using it. This discomfort isnât limited to the back support either; the overall sitting experience is unsatisfactory.Sitting in this chair for a prolonged period has proven to be a challenge, impacting my productivity and well-being. I regretfully conclude that this chair does not meet the ergonomic needs essential for anyone who spends considerable time working at a desk.If youâre considering this chair for its ergonomic features or for extended use, based on my experience, I would urge you to look at alternative options, such as the Steel Case chairs, which have proven to be far superior in terms of comfort and back support.

My back pain is gone and I can sit down 8hr and more with no problem and this quality is amazing and well done. I did try over 10 chair so far and I will keep it for sure

Iâve been looking for a quality chair that had a good recline function, long-term comfort and long-lasting quality without breaking the bank. I looked at a lot of other options up to the Herman Miller Aeron, but ultimately felt the feature set of this chair and the value was too compelling to overlook. The chair arrived well packed, JT was very easy to assemble, and I was immediately impressed with how adjustable it is. I was able to make it fit my posture and body size like a glove, and the recline function with the foot rest is fantastic when I need to get my feet up for a few minutes and stretch out during a long day at the desk.I was worried the unique lumbar function might be a gimmick, or maybe something Iâd not use despite its prominent color distinction and added volume it adds to the chair. Iâm happy to say I love this feature. I turn it up to 3/4 strength and it actively reminds my body to keep good posture during the day. It really has reduced my back pain over the last several weeks of daily use.The head rest is also comfortable, easy to adjust and I found it to provide enough adjustability that it contours nicely to my neck when using the recline function. And, lastly, support was fantastic. They got ahold of me and offered to send a replacement for rest right after purchase that had improved steel framing, and my communications back and forth them were clear and courteous. Couldnât ask for better support. All in all, this is a high quality chair with a unique lumbar and full recline + footrest function that really makes it perform for work from home users that spend 8+ hours at the office. I am planning on picking up a second chair for my fiancé, because she keeps using this chair instead of hers.

I was looking to further spruce up the old office desk at home and finally had enough of my worn-out, no-frills “race car” computer chair. A donut cushion complemented that flattened seat after it gave me consistent sitting problems. I was willing to consider another gamer-type chair but settled on this Newtral one as it screams corporate and is aestethically pleasing. I’m happy to report that this ergonomic chair is more than just looks. Much more.I wanted a seat that rocks, had a footrest, and can recline to an acceptable degree. This chair has met all of those requirements and then some. Assembly did take me an hour plus and that’s because I overthought and redid Step 5 several times (“No hex nuts or washers? I’m screwing the bolts from the bottom up? Why?”). When I finished setting it up, I was amazed at ALL of the customizable options at hand. The seat was comfy (bye bye external donut cushion!), the lumbar support is interesting (I never had lower back problems so time will tell if I will need this), and with the footrest up and fully reclined, I had a fantastic nap on it (I’m 5’8″ and 175 lbs. My foot was barely dangling off the chair. It’s more “ankle-rest” and definitely not a “calf-rest”).I’ve only owned this chair for less than a week and I’m already thrilled to use it whenever I can. I got it at a great price but I would of paid the normal one if I knew how wonderful it is. Thanks Newtral!Other notes:- I thought the back adjustment was broken as it wouldn’t lock into place. As it turns out, I had to press it all the way down so that a CLICK can be heard and then the 4 levels of adjustment can begin. Having it lock into a mythical 5th level would have been perfect for me but the 4th level will have to do- Fully-reclined naps are great on it but I miss the arm rests coming out of the back of the seat. Since the arms comes out from the sides of the bottom seat, there is that gap where the elbows would just dangle. I can position my elbows to be supported by the protruding lumbar support when I sleep so that’ll also have to do for now- Arm rests is some kind of very firm plastic so buying a third-party cover to add texture or comfort is definitely an option- none of these are deal-breakers to me as the chair has been great so far!

It was not until recently after having back issues that I discovered how personal chair buying can be. I spend 8+hours in a chair for work. Poor posture, an old chair, n bad mouse placement led me down a road to back hell. I purchased my first ergonomic chair from office depot only to find it causing more problems. It was returned for another similar to this one. Something wasn’t quite right until it hit me. The lumbar support was too low and not adjustable. I searched high n low. Honestly, I was a bit weary that I couldn’t sit in the chair first. Prime Day hit and I took the plunge. I knew what I wanted and this chair is giving it. I don’t need an added lumbar cushion. I couldn’t justify paying so much for the other chairs and on top of that, still needed additional support. The fact that I can move the lumbar support up/down is a win. Forward and backward…YES!!! There are days or hours where such aggressive support isn’t needed. Iâ¤ï¸ that so much. So far, the seat cushion is comfy. If I need to edit my review, I will. If your hesitant, don’t be under the condition that you’re looking for the option to adjust lumbar placement. If that isn’t what you want/need, you’re likely looking in the wrong spot for a chair.I can’t say if the arm rest are good or not. I sit with my legs crossed on the chair sometimes, so I prefer not to have them for now as they would only get in the way.Assembly was pretty straight forward. I’ve recently gone through two other chairs, so the assembly wasn’t any different. The gloves are overkill, in my option. Lol. Cute, but not needed. The video guide was helpful, too.The quality is there. Sturdy…not cheap feeling. Only time will tell.Edit: updated my rating. I decided to make use of the armrest only to discover that I have adjusted them as far as I can tell, and I still can not use them comfortably. They are too far apart. Kudos to them for responding and showing me how to adjust, but even so, too far apart.Another thing I’ve noticed is that the height adjustment is not easy. You’ll either go to high or low. It will take several attempts before you get it just right.I still have to use a pillow to get the adequate amount of support, which kinda sucks since I paid good money for this chair that has since gone down in price.

After a lot of research and trying to figure out if I should get this on Amazon or Kickstarter, I went with Amazon because I trust the customer service and return policy more. The chair was fairly easy to assemble with less than 10 steps. Wish the guide had better visuals though.I was worried the arm rests weren’t soft (they appeared to be plastic, but weren’t), and are actually more comfortable than they look.Almost everything is adjustable, my only complaint would be that when in full-recline the arm rests are a little too forward leaving no placement for elbows to rest. So you’re not 100% comfortable. The lumbar support could also use more adjustability, you can’t move it higher or lower to accommodate your back. And finally, the breathable mesh is nice and keeping my back cool, but I’ll have to say the texture against the clothes makes your shirt ride up a little, and if you have lower back hair, might feel some very minor discomfort. Now with the praise. The recline is amazing and the resistance is adjustable so you can create the perfect position for your back. And the foot rest compliments it so well. I’m 5’11 and my heels are just slightly dangling off but supported very well. The headrest is also very adjustable and super comfortable.I know there are more expensive office chairs out there, and the cost isn’t too bad in comparison. But for someone who works really hard for their money, I’d want to get it’s worth. And this chair as sleek as it is, falls just a tiny bit short. It’s too soon to tell however, I will test it out for the next few weeks and come back with an update. I work from home 3 days out of the week and I’ll be spending an ample amount of time on it. So I’ll keep you all posted.

11/3/2022I purchased the PRO version of the chair for about a week at this point. I splurged on this chair because it checked all the boxes I was looking for plus an interesting design. Iâve bought, tried, and returned three (3) chairs during the past nine (9) months. This chair was more than I wanted to spend but I went with it hoping it was quality and defective free.Regarding the price and the 20% off promotionâ¦this was very deceptive. The reason for the 20% off is only located on one screen. There are multiple ways to buy the chair without looking at the photos where it was stated. I reviewed the Terms button on the order page and nowhere in the terms for the 20% discount does it mention the discount is for the faulty footrest. This should be very clear to all purchasers regardless how they use the platform to purchase the product. The chair is poor quality and a real disappointment at the $500+ price level. I am 6â3â and 180 lbs. and I do not feel secure sitting in the chair. Itâs very wobbly, loose, and nothing is âtightâ. Some critical observations:1. You canât lock the arm rest in place; they move forward, backward, right and left with the slightest.2. The armrest themselves are very âplasticâ.3. The arms are not solid. In fact, the left side arm of this chair was improperly drilled at the factory; the hole had to be re-tapped to secure.4. The big orange knob does nothing when turning left or right.5. It is easy to raise and lower the seat back but itâs difficult to secure in one of the preset heights.6. Headrest is flimsy and you canât secure in one position. There is no locking mechanism and it slides up and down. And itâs so poorly designed that you can lower the headrest below the top of the seat back.7. The seat back brace has two black covers along the top that must be hiding a screw head but the caps are crooked.8. When you fold the footrest under the seat the footrest itself does not lock in place.9. Wheels are cheap. The chair looks good on the product page but the actual product is something else to be desired. I will be returning the chair and seeking a full refund.11/11/2022 UPDATEI’ve had the chair about three weeks now. The chair has started to squeak anytime you shift your position and I personally find the seat cushion uncomfortable. Both side arms have already become loose with the left one shifting several inches forward/backward and side to side. Another major design flow and I found out the hard way – the inside push button to adjust the arm pad is not recessed. I had a sweater on and it got caught on the back side of the button that sticks out. This chair is the biggest piece of **** I’ve seen. Do not recommend regardless what “incentive” they are providing today.
