Love this shelf
Iâm so happy I decided to purchase this shelf. It was super easy to install by myself and it looks great. Including unpacking it, it took me roughly 20 mins to install each shelf. I also purchased the Nathan James bookshelf to go alongside it. The shelves are not real wood but a laminated MDF which I donât mind cause there still really sturdy. If you mount the shelf in a stud you will be fine but if not I donât recommend using the screws and plugs they provide as there small and crappy. I personally used metal plugs and the shelf isnât going anywhere. The price is pretty high for this product not to have real wood shelves but I totally recommend this product.

Beautiful ladder desk
The desk is very easy to assemble. Despite the hight, it is possible to do it alone. The space between the desk and the first shelf is not that large, but it fits my notebook and a second monitor. The golden colour is beautiful. It is a darker closed shade of gold. I love this desk. Itâs beautiful and practical, worth the price.

Nice little workspace
Because of Covid-19, my spouse and I work from home, probably until December 2020. The house isn’T big enough for me to have my own big office desk or place for that matter and the kids take all the space in the basement (anyways, working around kids playing video games isn’t exactly an ideal workplace…). We bought this desk so I could have my own space, in a small corner. I’m very happy with the result. Easy to assemble when you are two. The two top shelves are a little bit flimsy, but nothing preventing the use of them. I added a laptop stand to the main desk to hold my laptop and have my big screen. It works like a charm.

Great value, phenomenal customer service
Very happy with this purchase. Not only is the shelf great for its price, the customer service I received from Devy was amazing and unexpected. The shelf itself was relatively easy to put together. Veneer exterior, particle board on the inside. One of the shelves had a defect and I called customer service and they offered to send an entire new shelf. The replacement was sent immediately and within a few days, it arrived at my apartment. During this period, I received follow up emails to let me know when the shelf was coming, to ensure that it arrived and also to confirm my problem was solved. I did not expect this level of customer service. In comparison, I’ve received defective furniture from other sellers, had to take it back apart, repack, send it back to the seller and wait for a new one to arrive. Nathan James customer service, on the other hand, made the situation completely painless and very easy.

When I opened the box there was a chip on one of the wood pieces and the wood was dirty!! Like itâs not the type to wipe off. I was so excited about this desk itâs so beautiful!

Iâm really happy with this desk. It was very easy to put together and looks great! The quality is outstanding and itâs just what we needed for our sonâs small bedroom. Now, he has a dedicated place to study with plenty of vertical storage shelves.

Purchased this for a rental and I love it! It is great for small spaces. The product is sturdy and the color is pretty. The only thing is I would recommend to install directly on two studs that are bolted to the wall, would not install directly to the wall as over time it may weaken and eventually fall/break from wall.

The only downsides are that this desk is heeeeavy and it is a multiple person job to get it secured to the wall. Unless you are really strong, I recommend having a friend help. I love the height of the work space and the solid feel of the wood. The color is also perfect and I am so glad I got this desk over the others that I was debating buying.

I have zero complaints about the product. it was easier to put together with one person. The instructions were simple and nicely labeled. The material isnt cheap. My only pet peeve is the price. I think its overpriced tremendously considering similar brands but the piece looks very modern and sophisticated for my home office.
