Excellent standing desk, good looking with smooth electric motor
Watch video for full review and to see the desk in actionâ¦..We totally love this desk! In my opinion, for the money, $409.99 plus a $25 coupon off at the time of this review, the design, presentation, build-quality, and value of this standing desk canât be beat. It is amazing and looks stunning in the corner of our home theater/music room. Hubby is setting it up to be his âman-cave/music deskâ and it works perfectly. The electric motor is quiet and super smooth going up/downâ¦keeps everything level on the entire L-Shape top surface of the desk. There is a built-in power station, 4 programmable height pre-set buttons and up/down adjustment buttons, RGB LED lighting with an RF remote, 2 headphone hangers (one on each side of the desk), upper shelf around the entire desk for monitors or for added storage, beautiful rustic wood top surface, heavy-duty steel legsâ¦.we canât find any serious cons about this deskâ¦..the only minor cons would be the slight weakness where the 3 wood surface pieces join up, but with that said, it is only a slight weakness if you really really push down on the joint or place something really heavy exactly where the pieces join. Other than that, for us, under regular use, I donât think it makes much difference and itâs nothing that adding an extra support bracket beneath the desktop at the joint doesnât solve. The only other slight con is that there are no drawers or keyboard shelf, but on the flip side, that also keeps the desk design very clean. One thing to mention is that the desk arrives in a very heavy box (100lbs). If you have a lot of stairs or need to move the box a good distance, you will need 2 strong people. In our case, we decided it was easier to just open the box and move the pieces individually to the proper room for assembly. Installation was very straightforward, the parts were all very well packaged, instructions were clear, hardware and pieces were all labeled to facilitate assembly. It took about 2 hours for hubby to put the desk together by himself.Overall weâre very happy with the look, and features of this desk. The quality actually exceeded our expectations and we highly recommend this desk. Good for students or adultsâ¦for work or gaming and anything in betweenâ¦.On a side noteâ¦.. I would like to mention that the RF remote for the RGB LED lighting works from anywhere in the room without actually having to point it at the desk, which is great, but on the con side of this, it literally goes through walls and if you own any other RGB LED lighting with RF Control that is on this same frequency then that light may also go on/off when using this remote. In our case, we have 2 bedside night tables that happen to also be using an RF remote and turning on our bedside table LEDs also turns the LEDs on at this desk which is in a completely different room, and we actually had to change out the RGB strip that came with the desk to avoid the RF remote controller conflict.

Super!
Superbe bureau. Ma seule crainte a été au niveau de lâassemblage, jâai eu un peu peur lorsquâil a fallu retourner le bureau dans sa position finale car jâai entendu la surface craquer un petit peu. Mais sinon jâadore!

Awesome standing desk
The L Shaped Standing Desk in rustic brown not only adds a touch of premium elegance to any workspace but also offers exceptional functionality and convenience. Assembly is relatively straightforward, taking about an hour and a half for a single person to set up. Despite the deskâs sturdy construction, I was pleasantly surprised by the compact size of the package box, although it was notably heavy. The deskâs thoughtful design includes three AC outlets and two USB ports, providing convenient access to power sources for various devices. Additionally, the integrated LED light strip and large monitor stand enhance both the practicality and visual appeal of the desk. Overall, the L Shaped Standing Desk combines style, functionality, and ease of assembly, making it a fantastic choice for anyone seeking a versatile and premium workspace solution.

Great gaming desk
At the time of writing this review, this rectangular standing desk costs $499.99. There is currently a $50 coupon available for a total discounted price of $449.99.This is an amazing desk. Standing desks as a gaming desk is a game changer. My level of comfort has increased so much. The L shaped desk is the perfect design for my gaming computer area. I use the shorter side for my main monitor and the longer side for another two monitors and my laptop, with plenty of room left for the keyboard and mouse, my phone, mouse pads, keys and change, with lots of room left for writing and paperwork. The desk is made from good materials. After building it, it feels sturdy and strong. There’s no wobbling or shifting, so I won’t worry about tipping my monitors or speakers over if something bumps the desk. Under the shelves is a great spot for storying controllers, pens and my headphones when they are not in use.The built in outlet is so convenient. It’s nice having a spot to plug and unplug my laptop and super fast charger for my phones. The built in USB’s are good for regular charging things, which I mostly use to charge my airports or headphones.Building took around 2 hours from opening the box, to having it ready to use and put stuff on.The height adjustment is convenient and doesn’t interfere with leg placement, and is in a good spot so it won’t be accidentally pressed. I have all my cables in such a way that the desk can go from highest to lowest without breaking anything. The table movement is quiet and almost imperceptible, it wouldn’t even disturb someone sleep it is so quiet. The lighting is nice. It’s cool that you can change the colors. I have all RGB Razer stuff so it matches that nicely. The color of the desk itself is also really nice and matches a lot of my furniture. A very timeless look. This is a great desk and I recommend it to anyone, gamers and office people alike.

I love this desk. It was easy to assemble: the instructions were clear, and all of the pieces and screws were well-labeled (they even included a Phillips head screwdriver along with the allen key!). I assembled this by completely by myself in about two hours, though I maybe should have waited for my husband to come home to help me flip it over.I wouldn’t call this desk “noiseless”; it makes a bit of a whooshing sound when moving, but it’s not a deal-breaker. For storage, I was able to find rectangular woven baskets at Target that fit under the monitor stand, and they have worked great.

I have had an old sit-stand desk for years, and while it was rock solid, it was very slow, loud, didn’t have saved heights, and didn’t go tall enough for me.I was excited to get this sit-stand as I hoped it would address many of those issues. I am happy to report success on each account.Assembly was not too bad. It came flat packed as you would expect, and I would guess it took about 1-2 hours if your taking your time. The instructions were clear, and at no point was I unsure or confused. I had hoped I might be able to flip the long and shorts sided around as it would have fit my space better that way. Unfortunately, this proved to be impossible with the way it is constructed. To be clear, the listing never claimed that it could be flipped – so this is not a negative to the seller. Just a warning in case you are hoping for that. It still works in my space fine, so not a big deal.Once assembled, it operated perfectly right away. No issues at all. It goes up and down very smoothly, quietly, and quickly. i have it loaded w/ 2x 27″ monitors plus a laptop and other various desk materials (pens, cups, jump drives, etc) and it has not shown any indication of issues with the weight. The saved height preferences work great – Just go to your desired height and hold the 1 or 2 button to save it. I love being able to come back to the exact right spot with just the push of a 1 button. You would have to be absurdly tall for it to not go high enough, I am 5’11” and I am not even remotely close to maxing it out at standing height. The lights are nothing too exciting – pretty weak and limited color/capabilities. But I really do not care about that personally. They work, and if your in to that you might find them neat. The integrated power strip is nice and works great in my testing.Overall, I think the desk looks very nice. The black powder coated metal parts (legs, standoffs, etc.) and rustic wood look are very nice. I also really enjoy the stand for the monitors which really brings them to the right height just using the factory stands (an issue on my previous desk).Really, the only negative things I can say about it are:1. its not a tank. You can tell the entire thing is on the “slimmer” side. The “wood” is ~1/2 particle board with venear. That is exactly what I expected at this price point – so its not a surprise. But particle board is prone to bow over time, and does not hold up well to water if it gets below the veneer. I do always have water or coffee on my desk, so its a risk that it may happen at some point. But if it’s just a little spill and you wipe it up, you will be fine. The veneer will repel it. I am a hobbiest woodworker, so my plan is to cut my own top (using the original as a template) out of 3/4 plywood if/when either of those issues crop up. Honestly though, I probably never will.2. This is related to #1, but because its particular board, they use edge banding to cover up the particle board edges. This is normal, and you have to do soemthing. However, it means they cannot apply much of a roundover to the edges the desk. I find the end of the desk too sharp if my hands rest on it. I wouldn’t say this is a problem all the time – but I do notice it on occasion depending on how my laptop is placed on the desk, and how I am positioned. They could have used a larger, rounded plastic T-mould edging to soften that edge and make it more comfortable. But again, its a relatively minor issue (which i will correct if I do ever have to make my own top).Overall i think this desk is a very good value. There are certainly nicer options out there, but they cost a ton more. I have found the tradeoffs of this lower priced alternative to be perfectly acceptable. I work from home full time, and use it 5 days a week and am very happy.

I’ve been wanting a standing desk and was so glad this one came to me. Assembly was tedious but just follow the instructions and you’ll be fine. I insist on doing things alone so maybe if I had help it would have been easier. Still, it was not hard enough to deter me. I have a sense of accomplishment. I like that the shelves are open and can be customized with storage bins or baskets. This is a way to add your own touch. Being able to stand or sit is nice. I have days where I drive a lot and don’t want to sit for anything. It seems sturdy and the plugs are an added convenience. Its s a bit pricey but worth it to me

This is a great desk. Big (read: heavy), so it’s one of those “2 sets of hands” won’t hurt putting this together deals. 1 person can do it. But it’s SO much easier when you have another pair of hands with this one.Of course the height adjust is the big selling feature here, and this covers a pretty wide range. But there are other features that are, frankly, pretty impressive, too. The memory function is like the memory seat function in my car, which is nice. I simply set mine for 2 different modes – standing and sitting. If I’m sitting, I hit 1. If I’m standing, I hit 2.The lights are also a nice feature, that I honestly didn’t think I’d like, but now that I can turn all the room lights off and the desk is kind of a “night light”…it’s kind of grown on me. The built in power strip is also hugely helpful. Of course, being totally honest, 3 outlets isn’t nearly enough so I mounted a power strip under the desk, lol.I really only have one complaint about the desk. It’s big, yes, it’s spacious, yes, but…there’s no actual storage. No drawers, no cabinets, no cubby holes, no nothing. As much as I love the desk, I can’t have EVERYTHING laying on top of it. For instance, who keeps the spare feet for their mouse sitting there on top of their desk? Or a spare set of batteries, if it’s AA powered? Nobody, you keep those things in the desk drawer, right? There is no desk drawer…of any kind.My solution? I plan an adding an under-desk keyboard drawer, and I’m going to put a small drawer under there…somewhere…for odds and ends, like mice receivers, usb cables, ect. Stuff you want AT the desk, but not necessarily ON the desk. Of course, you could always stick a little set of mini organizer drawers or something on top somewhere and achieve the same result.Summary. Love the desk. Looks fantastic. Works fantastic. Has a lot of cool features. Just needs a little more than just “vertical space” to put things. It needs a drawer or something. Anything. But even if you have to add your own “drawer solution”, it’s still a great desk and I recommend it. If only because it’s the coolest desk on the whole flippin block.
