As I get older I realize I need to start to hire people to assemble stuff like this but….it took me longer to disassemble my existing platform bed than it did to assemble this one! The directions were not easy to follow (especially unclear about which screws to use where – plus they were noted as numbers in one sections and letters in another. But I put aside the directions and just laid it all out and within a half hour I had it all assembled. Don’t freak out when you have it done with all but the wood slats – I was really concerned about how sturdy it would be because the metal frames didn’t attach to anything, but then once I put the slats on there were more spots for screws and it’s completely secure! I have 2 of my dogs that like to sleep under the bed for a few hours so I am relieved it’s secure and sturdy. Nice looking bed and fits my king size mattress perfectly!

I’d wish the sides were more snug so it could properly hold the mattress but overall very happy still with this purchase. Very easy to put together and I’m sure easy to disassemble.

My son assembled this frame platform with ease. (I am a senior citizen who is recovering from a surgery). I chose this frame because my 6’0′ tall son has similar one for 2 years and I liked how low it is (with mattress) for my 5’1′ height. Box springs makes beds much higher and a small struggle to get on and off. This one, with a mattress, also bought from amazon, is the perfect height for me. Been sleeping on this since March 31 and it is better than my previous bed frames that were much higher.

The frame is very cute! It was also very easy to assemble! Wow! That is the only reason I didn’t return it when I received it damaged. Would have probably been one of my best Amazon finds for a pre teen room. Just damaged.

1 of the bolts doesn’t thread into the rear support bar and 1 of the legs in the center is bent, but you get what you pay for. It’s still very nice all things considered.
