supportive and easy to install
Came already to place down on brackets of the bed and it holds my expensive memory foam mattress perfectly. The only thing I would say is I got a double size instead of a queen size and I think the queen size would’ve been too big for my queen size, but the devil fits like perfectly.

Product: Mayton, 0.75-Inch Vertical Mattress Support Wooden Bunkie Board/Slats with Cover, King, Beige, Regular Size. The slat spacing for the one I received is not 2 3/8 inches like it was claimed to be. It is 3 1/4 inches apart when spaced out. The fabric just makes it look more narrow than it really is. I needed slats that are spaced under 2.5 inches apart due to the customer’s mattress requirements. I could not return this product because I had to make the deadline for installing a platform bed frame for the customer. I had to do some modifications for it to be acceptable.

I bought a platform bed with horizontal slats. I think they were two far apart and too flimsy because they sagged in areas away from the edges of the bed and away from the center support. I added these slats on top of mine, vertically. I also used stick-on felt pads (1 inch circles) to stop them from making noise when the two sets of slats hit each other as I moved around. It’s been great – quiet, firm, and supportive. I’m very pleased with this purchase. They came ready to put on the bed – no assembly required.

I bought the full-size regular-duty version of this item for my loft bed.I was concerned that the length would be insufficient (full-size mattresses are 75″ long, and these slats are only 73″ long). It seems that they may be specifically designed to lay vertically atop existing horizontal slats. This was my situation and they worked out okay.It is a good idea to lay out the two panels in advance of trying to install them, and make sure you have the velcro strips properly aligned. The fabric covering was worth the extra $5, it keeps these slats silent against the other slats. The wood is stapled into sewn fabric pockets, and I have no doubt they’ll stay put. The materials are perfect for their intended use. Since I can see the underside of the slats in my under-bed office area, I’m very happy about the fabric from an aesthetic perspective. And most importantly, my bed is better supported now and my back feels better for the lack of sag.

This worked perfect for me. I got the heavy duty one and Iâm very happy with it. I put it on top of a metal platform bed frame that already had built in horizontal support beams but they were a little too far apart so I wanted extra support. These wood slats are very sturdy and it seems like thereâs hardly much of a gap between my slats which is awesome. And they Velcro together too which is handy. My bed is much more comfortable now with the more uniform support I have now.

Product was as described but was missing one board/slat. Still works fine but that is a quality control issue. The vertical direction of the slats is what works best to support a memory foam mattress.
