What a game changer! Would buy again and again!
Introduction
This topper has saved my LIFE!!!! I live in student housing, so we do have a mattress supplied. BUT…..it is like a prison mattress lol. Super thin, crappy material, and a vinyl non-breathable cover. So most nights I would be freezing my butt off, covered in my blankets, but the spot where my body touched the mattress was super hot. Needless to say, I needed a solution.
Delivery/Shipping
I was very impressed with the shipping of this product. I ordered it on a Friday and received it by 1pm on Monday, which was nice!
Unboxing
Obviously in order for them to transport this, they vacuum seal it. So when I first opened it out of the plastic and unrolled it, I was a bit freaked out, as I knew it would expand upwards, but the width didn’t look right. So I said a prayer, and ran to work, hoping the mattress gods would be kind. And they were! I got home and it completely expanded upwards and out! so PLEASE don’t be alarmed if the dimensions look small. Let it expand for at least 8 hours and it will match the size of your bed. Once placed on the bed it was a few cm off on each side, but this is due to the memory foam material, as it says in the box.
Sleeping
Once I made my bed and laid down, I instantly died within 30 seconds, and fell asleep instantly!. It cradles you and supports your entire body. I haven’t had the same issue with overheating which makes my sleep super comfortable! Even when I was doing the laundry, before I made the bed, my boyfriend laid down on just the topper and has been asleep since haha! It really revamped my trash mattress into something else.
Overall
I would say BUY THIS and have no doubts!!!! The quality is amazing, and has solved every issue I had with my crappy mattress. Defiantly a smart purchase for either short term or long term (as I will be moving out within the next few years). Smart either for the main bed or a spare room. If you are looking for something more long term, I saw that Lucid also sells mattresses, thats if you are looking to invest a bit more. This is the best option though if you are looking to just up the quality of your current mattress, to get some more use out of it!. 🙂

PRESSURE RELIEF, PLUSH and COMFORTABLE. PURCHASED A KING THEN A TWIN!!
Â I like a soft bed. Softer the better. Purchased a king topper for our bed and liked it so much we purchased a twin for the spare room for when one of us is snoring we can bail to the next comfortable bed and still sleep great.
I am a side sleeper, 130lbs and fit. Husband is a side sleeper, 230 lbs, 6 foot and muscular. We both have different sleeping needs because of our weight difference so choosing a bed was difficult.
We purchased a Juno bed in a box mattress because my husband likes a medium firm mattressâ¦ So he thought! Our Juno bed arrived and it felt like we were sleeping on cement! I didnât sink it at all because of my weight. My hips hurt as did my shoulders. I also have arthritis in my bottom spine at 42 years old! The bed was way too hard as I expected so we added this topper and it made all the difference for both of us.
It softens things up. Both my husband and I enjoy it quite a bit. It turned our bed into complete comfort. It did take a while to get used to because you sink into it so there is ZERO bounce combined with our foam mattress. I chose the 3 inch topper because I thought with his weight and my weight combined the 4 inch might be a little too much and the 2 inch would not be enough. I am happy with the 3 inch. I look forward to sleeping every night now. I did sleep in another bed and immediately I felt all the pressure points in my hips and shoulders. This topper relieves all of my pressure points. Very happy with the purchase.
Upon unwrapping the topper it was quite compressed in a variety of areas. I did help puff up using a warm dryer which took care of every flat spot. It puffed up fully in all areas and did expand to the complete size of the bed. Slept on it the first night.

48 hours later and itâs still flat
UPDATE: I contacted Lucid to ask how to help this topper expand a representative said it could take 48 hours to 3 weeks and works faster in a warm room, so, crank the heat. He also suggested to put it on the floor and walk over every inch of it to release the compacted air bubbles. We have in-floor heating so I dragged it onto the floor and did as he suggested. By the next morning, it was 90% inflated so I walked on the parts that were still squished. Several hours later it was fully filled out – yahoo! I just put it on the bed and so far itâs very soft and comfortable! So, between waiting and walking on this topper, it took 4 days to be able to use it.
Previous review: Waiting for this thing to expand is the longest Iâve ever waited for any foam topper. The first picture is after 24 hours and the second is after 48hrs. Itâs a king but is laid over a queen bed, presently. It looks really small. Iâm hoping it takes shape very soon because this is ridiculous. Iâll update my review to accurately reflect its function if it ever expands fully to use. For now, I find this wait-time frustrating.

Comfy, thick, supportive
It looks sickly when you open it but within an hour or two was fully inflated. Its nice to lay on.
It off gases a bit when you first unpack it. Nothing strong but if you’re super sensitive to smell consider venting the room its in.
