If you have a sit/stand desk, this stool is perfect for you. Height adjustable, solid, comfortable, and durable.I love it. Some days when I’m sitting in my regular office chair, I’ll use the stool to put my feet up. Love this thing.

It works fairly well but the seat cover is too slippery
It’s a pretty good chair, but the seat cover is a shiny vinyl material that is quite slippery. When you roll the chair to the side there is a feeling of being in danger of sliding off.I use it on the maximum height setting and I am 5’9″. If you are taller than this you might find that it doesn’t go high enough for you.

Great stool!
I am very happy with this stool. It has a good height range and works well for my 6th grader who is also happy with it and loves to turn and rock on it while doing homework. The seat is quite comfortable.Be wary, that as easy as it is to put together (only 3 pieces), I did have to use a mallet to attach the seat to the plastic piece underneath. …it didn’t just snap in like I thought it would. Otherwise, it is quite solid and seems to be well made.

Seat is a little stiff, could have been a touch softer. Good weight at the bottom keeps it right side down but can make it tough to move.

Perfect active stool for stand up desks with tight spaces
Iâve enjoyed this stool for over a year now and recently had my work buy me another for my standing desk there. I enjoy standing most of my day because when I sit, I have a tendency to remain sitting and not move for most of the day. This stool makes it easy to lean-sit when I need to give the hip joints a break, but still keeps me moving. Itâs also easier to get out of the way when I do stand or when I need to move under my desk. Love this stool and highly recommend for active types!

Great customer service at School Outfitters and I love the stool!
I loved the stool but after a couple of hours it wouldnât stay up I selected position. Amazon gave me the contact information because I didnât know how to take it apart to ship back. The people at School Outfitters were wonderful and ensured I received a replacement!

 âââââââââââââââââââââââð NOTES:- When assembling the stool, the grey plastic collar that gets pressed onto the underside of the top doesnât snap into place easily (at least, not for me)âitâs not the type of part that you can tap on with a mallet, eitherâ¦only a firm PRESS will do, so though I donât consider myself weak (relatively speaking), what finally did work was when I laid the seat top down on the rug, then sat the collar on top of it, and while supporting the collar to remain upright & level, LAID ON TOP OF IT and pressed my bodyweight into it, FINALLY snapping it on. ð ð Assembly requires only 3 steps, and the stool comes together in a couple minutes (esp. since you now know to lay your body over the plastic collar, if you canât snap it on with your hand & arms alone).- Scoot your bum all the way to the back, if you want to be centered over the stool. If you typically like to sit towards the front edge, youâll be leaning forward, which is fine if thatâs what you want, in which case your feet will be on the floor. If you want to rest your feet on the base of the stool, scoot back on the seat, and your center of gravity will allow it.- This stool is built to last! All quality components, and weighted down to provide assurance that unless you really try, you will NOT be tipping over.- The pneumatic mechanism is very responsive, allowing you to smoothly raise & lower the stool in a 9-inch range. Iâm just under 5â2â, with a 28â inseam, and I would need the stool at the lowest level to be able to safely keep contact with the floor. Even if youâre over a foot taller than I am, youâll still have plenty of room for your legs with this height-adjustable wobble stool.- I have no cush in my tush, and find the semi-firm padding on the seat to be plenty comfortable, but because this stool receives mixed reviews on that topic (ie, will it be comfortable to use for HOURS), itâd be best to try one out first, if you have the access & opportunity to do so.- Seat material is easy to cleanâa quick wipe is all thats needed, and it comes in different colors, so choose the one that works for you.âââI would consider this a premium product, and highly-recommend it to anyone whoâs looking for a backless stool that swivels. It doesnât roll, so if thatâs a requirement, this isnât for you, but if youâre like me and enjoy (or need) to rock in your chair, such as when your brain is activated and your body wants to move, this stool will allow you to release that pent-up energy & keep those thoughts flowing (thus facilitating work flow). If youâre a fan of rocking chairs, but wished that it didnât have a back, this stool is certainly worthy of your consideration. ð

Iâm a fitness editor and interviewed an expert for an article about how to fix back pain from sitting. He recommended an active chair, so here we are. I wanted something simple, sturdy, and adjustable to accommodate my longer legs and this chair delivered! Hereâs the highlights of my experience:Reduced back pain:The ability to shift around in the chair has helped with my restless sitting during work and allows me to find a comfortable position as my definition of comfort changes from moment to moment throughout the day. Itâs weighted at the bottom so itâs harder to shift around than a yoga ball, and feels more stable than I expected. Once you find a comfy spot, itâs not like constantly pulling you out of it, at least for me itâs easy to root myself to that ideal spot and shift around only if I need to.Improved posture:You wouldnât think a chair where you have to do the work would be more comfortable, but ultimately because it encourages good posture, itâs more comfortable in the long run. I had to work up to long periods of sitting in it as my postural muscles worked up the strength, which is where my standing desk came in handy for breaks.Versatile:I literally carry this chair around my house throughout the day. Originally I planned to keep it under my standing desk but if I want to work from a table or the normal desk downstairs for longer than my lunch break Iâll bring this chair with me. I canât stand our other chairs since using it, and find that if I slip back into using them Iâm hyper aware of how uncomfortable I am throughout the day and notice my back gets tight from my terrible slouchy posture.Delivers on claims:If youâre looking for an active chair, this is a solid option. I havenât tried others, but in my opinion this chair is designed well, feels sturdy, and is a good investment for the money. Active chairs can be expensive and I was nervous at this price point this chair wouldnât deliver what I was expecting. After using it I see no need to spend more on one. I have no plans to upgrade mine or see any wear and tear after six months of use.

I looked at lots of different designs before i bought this stool. It doesn’t really get any better than this. Giving the there are so few moving parts there’s very very little bit can go wrong very very little that you need to maintain. Ultimately this is one gas ram with one trigger to release the pressure and a cushion. It leaves your lover back solely responsible for your posture which is exactly what you want. Anything that supports you above your backside is not helping. Support in your level back or anywhere else will the nike muscle groups the job of becoming strong. If i absolutely had to give some criticism it would be the tat its maximum height it doesn’t extend tool enough to allow me to use it as a standing stool. No it isn’t really that fair because i knew how tall it was when i bought it. The grey 1 that i bought is a bit ugly but then it was a lot cheaper than the other colours.
