Amazing quality!

Works well, but it is not as sturdy and quality work as I expected for this price. For example, the protective stickers attached to the legs came off after a week. Also, the color did not match the photo, but I guess that is expected when you order online.

It is an excellent quality kotatsu. The cage of the heater is covered with a fuzzy material so that it does not burn you if your leg accidentally bumps up against it. It is also out of the way and most people should not kick it by accident as long as you are not super tall (above 6′). The tabletop comes off so you can put a blanket in between. It can slide after you do that but only if you push the tabletop really hard. And you are technically supposed to use a voltage converter for this if you are in the US (Japan uses 100V, US uses 110-120V) but it technically can plug into a US wall socket. YOU ARE NOT SUPPOSED TO! 120V is too much for a 100V device to handle and it can cause the table to overheat and it will probably burn out faster or you can cause the plug to melt, or even cause an electrical fire. PLEASE DO NOT PROCEED WITHOUT A CONVERTER!

Iâm intrigued by the proper use of this table as a heater with a blanket on topâ it looks so cozy and brilliant for heating only what needs heatedâ but I actually got it to have a small, square, well built coffee table. It does a great job at this. It reminds me of Amish furniture because of its clean lines and smooth finish. Iâm pleased with the weight, the construction, the solidity, and the finish. The instruction manual is in several languages whose alphabets I donât recognize, but the instructions for assembly were pictorial and clear so I was grateful!

This was a really great Japanese style heated table. Its build was fairly sturdy, not enough for someone to stand on but plenty sturdy for what itâs meant for. I really wish it came with the blanket as well, but I can make it work with what I have around the home.My real issue is it doesnât come with a converter and US electrical too strong for the heating element. Please make sure you buy converter prior to using this.
