The IdealHouse side table is perfect for our needs. Husband spends most of his time in his chair and this rotating side table is great for his needs. He uses his laptop, eats his meals and has the ease of moving the top shelf out of his way when he gets up. The IdealHouse side table is very sturdy, wheels lock in place on the primary base of the table. As a Senior – it was easy to assemble. It took me 1 hr and 45 mins., due to a few breaks during the work. Just love it. Matches our other furniture colors. Thank you much.

I like this so much, if buying another one for the upstairs!This is exactly what I needed for our very small study area. We needed a desk.. we needed a shelf.. and we needed it to move around. Voila, we found all of that in this item.Pros:- fast shipping, doesn’t break the bank, yada-yada- much sturdier than I expected! (I’m always half-expecting “assembly-items” to be junk, despite good reviews.) I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of this desk/shelf. As you can see, it holds quite a lot.- small enough for our space, yet we can open it up when we need more desk area- opens up in either direction, smoothly. I can use 1 hand to open it up while the other side is locked in place.- the wheels aren’t anything special, but it maneuvers easily on hardwood and vinyl flooring. I tried it in multiple rooms. I’d imagine it’d be more difficult on carpet, but if it’s a berber/office carpet you’d have no trouble- easy to assemble if you’re used to assembling things. They label all of the pieces right on the plastic coverings, so just follow the step by step and you’ll have it together in 30 minutes or less. I did it on my own on about that time no problem.Cons: I do wish it was slightly wider.. but I knew the dimensions when I ordered it, so that’s not really even a con. My 11 year uses this a a desk now and we manage to fit all of her books and notebook etc. An adult may require more space, but it really depends on your purposes.Overall, I love this thing. It’s convenient and practical. We’ve had this for about a month and I am ordering another one right now for an upstairs area that needs something similar. So I would definitely recommend it to others!

My husband works remotely, so we bought this for our small second home. It fits nicely in our bedroom and he can expand it out when he needs extra desk space. Also, the casters make it easy to move. And at night, he rolls it next to the bed and uses it as a night stand.

Product is (folded form) sticking out at end of couch like an extension of the couch arm – my spouse rotates it in front for crafting and working on their laptop.Assembly was incredibly clear and easy – the only “entertaining” bit was the expected difficulties aligning of the holes between the brackets of the pivot between the tabletop sections. A possible future improvement would be to install the pivot to the underside of top surface, then have the bolts thread into tapped holes on the bottom plate of the bracket- rather than aiming the upper bolts thru a service hole in the lower table section. Given I went in expecting that to be annoying – I was still pleasantly surprised.All holes were either pre-threaded well, or had threaded inserts (into the wood). ZERO issues with mis-drilled holes or insufficient fasteners.Overall build time was about 20 minutes with the help of cats, would have been much shorter save for dropping bolts attempting to align the pivot plate holes as mentioned earlier.The entire unit does “migrate” across the floor – mix of pivoting of the wheels (even locked wheels) and the fold/unfold motions of the over all unit when in use.
