I love this large tufted bench. Maybe I lucked out but itâs very solid and well made. Went together easily and legs lined up well . I had ordered numerous other benches from Amazon and either the colors were completely off or they were much smaller than measurements given or previously opened. This arrived in perfect condition and had all but one washer. I might stain the legs but knew this was the color. No squeaky noises or torn material. Using at the bottom of my king bed.
Just Trying to Help –
This bench turned out much better than I thought. This is a big bench, stretching completely across the foot of my king sized bed. Its also much deeper than you would expect. If you’re like me, you shop more by the picture than the dimensions, and there is plenty of room for an adult to sit and put on their shoes without feeling like you are perched on the edge of a seat.It arrives flat packed, and you unzip a compartment on the lining and take out the legs. They are easy to install by hand by turning them in place, and hand tightening is more than enough. There is no need for any tools.While the wood stain on the legs does not match my bedroom set (which is walnut with a java stain) the bench manages to look good anyway. Not everything in life has to be a perfect match, and the light tone of the bench works well with the bedspread, walls, and curtains and seems to tie the room together nicely.I have not had the opportunity to try spot cleaning it, as it is at the foot of my bed and doesn’t come in contact with food, or anything dirty. I think it would be a relatively poor choice for an entryway. People are always dropping “lightly dirty” things on my entry bench and I don’t feel that this material and design would be good for that use.Overall very happy with this item.

It’s a fine bench if you’re willing to go to the hardware store to purchase $20 worth of missing bolts and washers. Each leg gets 2 bolts. Easy enough, it has 6 legs, thats 12 bolts and 12 washers but it only came with 3 total which was enough for one and a half legs and the return process was so stupid that I had no choice but to trouble shoot this myself. Do better!

The Homepop Layla bench has quickly become one of my favorite bedroom pieces we own. It was very easy to put up, the legs screw into pre-drilled holes. We have a king bed and it is about 3 inches shorter in length on each side and about a foot shorter in height (about as thick as our mattress). The design looks great and it is very comfortable. The space underneath is tall enough to place shoes under, including work boots.

Makes Creaking noises and the legs are not fully solid feeling. We truly like the look of it but every time my wife who is 100 pounds or I sit on it there are creaking noises coming from all the legs. I checked to make sure they were tight but still it makes a decent amount of noise. Not very happy with it.
