Very nice
I love this kitchen island very nice piece of furniture I get a lot of compliments on this extra storage is a bonus only issue is that there is a spot on the top where the finish has come off already only 6 months old and fir the price it should not be doing this other than that flaw itâs worth the buy

Wouldnât buy it again
Overall, itâll work for what we bought it for but weâre not overly impressed with it. If we could go back in time, weâd pick something different. The main issues were that it showed up damaged and we were disappointed with the quality of materials used. The handles are plastic, not mettle and itâs all particle board, not real wood. There are missing pre-drilled holes and we ended up having to glue on the drawer rails to prevent cracking the material. They should really wrap everything to avoid scratching during shipping. Also, the instructions seemed sort of in the wrong order and some of the pieces were missing their labels so it took some guesswork to figure out where stuff was supposed to go.

Not too shabby!
This product looks and is basically as described. It did come with a few small scratches but I think that’s more the fault of the delivery driver (the box was falling apart when I got it). Expect to spend a few hours putting this together as there are a lot of components. My main issue is that the hinges for the cupboard doors are made pretty cheap…Otherwise, it does what I need it to do and it’s nice for the price.

You get what you pay for but it’s not all that bad.
This unit isn’t awful. It’s not as hard to assemble as a lot of the reviews suggest – however – because of those reviews we definitely were cautious about steps and there are some steps that are not in the most practical order – so thinking ahead is helpful for sure. The look is nice. It’s small but you know when you buy it what the size it. I included some photos to try to show what it looks like – in a small kitchen. It serves it’s purpose for us – I needed extra counter space and the extra storage is great. There were issues though…The ‘counter’ top is damaged. There is one larger spot that is easily seen in the photos however the entire top has lots of little spots like that. You can’t really do anything about them… you either accept it or return ( I called Amazon about it and got a 20% partial refund for the inconvenience). It is NOT meant to be in the middle of the room as I have it. To be honest it may have said that in the text of the ad, I didn’t read it all I guess but know that the back side (I’ve included a photo) the 2 outer corners of the top don’t have anything hiding the raw material. I have purchased some wood markers to try to make it less unpleasant to look at and will update if I am able to make it look pretty. But know that if you’re planning on using it in the middle of your small kitchen. The unit itself is pretty sturdy so that’s awesome! But the drawer is also flawed. In the video I posted you can hear on the 2nd opening of the drawer that it doesn’t open smoothly and has quite a click to it. We have tried to fix this in every way we can think of but have decided to just accept it and live with it.As I say in the headline – you get what you pay for. This is an inexpensive kitchen island/storage unit and I bought it because it was so much cheaper than all the others I looked at…. so I will have to accept the flaws too.But – it is very nice and other than the damaged top, it’s great looking too!If the top wasn’t full of marks, I would have given it a higher star rating for sure. If you want the $750-$1000 quality island, don’t buy the $185 one 😉

Not worth it
Decent price and it looks okay but you have to drill 15 ish holes so make sure you have a power drill if you decide to buy. Some were put in using a screw driver but the pieces of wood (just saw dust composite) split where the screws went in for the drawer. The drawer doesnât fit which I assumed was due to me following the complicated and non-detailed instructions incorrectly but according to the instructions I did everything currently so maybe just a faulty piece. I was able to put it together myself in about two hours but I would not recommend it. Would return it if it wouldnât take just as long to disassemble. Solid loss on my end

Great for the price
Great for the price you pay. Easy to install – For anyone saying it is frustrating, it took 3 hours etc etc is just not good at putting things together. Take your time, go step by step and word of advice use an electric drill – even though says no power tools needed, I would recommend to.Just use common sense when putting it together such as with the doors or the backing with nails. For that part the top nails where tough to put in because of the countertop so I used a tiny drill bit to start a tiny hole then used hammer and voila.

Doesnât last long
NOT WORTH THE PRICE. Worth maybe $50. 1 year old (used by family of 2) and throwing it away. The top has looked like this for 6 months. Drawer sticks. Flimsy. Happy to see it go.

Fair value for money, not the best quality I have ever bought but certainly not the worst , easy enough to put together, instructions fair to understand , using for caravan awning ,for kitchen area, quite heavy and rigid for money , having a lot of experience being a carpenter ,I probably have more knowledge than most ,but happy with quality based on price or budget I bought 3

I purchased this cabinet because it seemed to be in a very similar style to the rest of my fitted kitchen. I read the reviews before I made the purchase and it seemed the instructions were giving the most problems. However, I bought it and it arrived. The packaging was pretty bashed but nothing was actually damaged. It was clear that it was of very poor quality, even by chipboard furniture standards. I glued, pinned and clamped everything as I went along, and I replaced the worktop with a solid wood one that fitted with my kitchen better. Very little contact with the grey surface caused it to rub off. Even using a spirit level and set square, the doors will not hang straight. I don’t think this piece of furniture will last very long.

Love the design, but when it arrived (from USA to UK) there were 4 missing parts! So had to send back. Not impressed

We needed a dining table/storage cabinet for our townhome which has a very small dining area in the kitchen. Item arrived on time and in good condition. Opened the box and inventoried parts, nothing missing, and nothing broken. Assembly took just over an hour to complete. All parts fit together nicely, and alignment was perfect. I used glue on all of the pegs and screws for the cabinet but not on the spice rack and towel bar. It looked pretty good but there is always room for improvement. First, we removed the spice rack and towel bar. Filled in the holes with wood puddy and sanded the filler smooth. Took part of the towel rack down to the hardware store (Ace) and had them match the paint color. Had to buy a quart but the color was a perfect match. Painted over the filler and the patches disappeared. Next, we increased the height of the island which was 33 inches. We added some 2.5-inch wooden pumpkin feet (bought on Amazon) which increased it to 35.5 inches. The final big change was to the top of the island. The original measurement were 35.5 inches wide by 15.75 inches deep. Bought a 2 ft by 4 ft pine board to make a new tabletop. Cut 2.5 inches off each corner to make an octagon shape and finished the edges with baseboard molding. Sanded it down and finished it with 2 coats of Minwax Colonial Maple stain and 3 coats of clear polyacrylic. Attached the new top with1 inch L brackets on the sides and four screws through the original top into the new top from inside the cabinet, no glue so the top can be removed if need be. The dimensions of the new top are 49 inched wide and 25 inches deep, plenty of room for 4 people. One final touch was replacing the plastic door/drawer handles with brushed nickel metal handles. All in all, the original Island was of good quality and manufacturing and the price was excellent. Highly recommended.
