Update: The seller (who was quite responsive before buying with my questions about their return policy) was even better with their after sale support. First, the table went on sale for Black Friday, and they refunded me the difference right away. Once Amazon published this review with my fairly minor quibbles with the table, the seller contacted me and offered me a number of different ways to make things right. Has to be the best customer support I have gotten from a 3rd party seller on Amazon. Thanks Guyi team :)Original Review:I’ll be honest, I didn’t expect this table to be the quality that it is. The lift mechanism works well and has a soft close which is nice. Our old one would just slam down.The hinges to open the table are a bit odd, and I’m curious how they will age. The table top itself is quite nice. The coffee table side is perfect, unfortunately the dining table side (when it’s opened) has some imperfections in the finish. When opened it is quite sturdy. The drawers are…alright. Not the best, not the worst. You kind of have to force them to close the last little bit. They are also quite small. A box of kleenex just fits in depth and height wise to give an idea. Perfect for some ps5 controllers and napkins though!The stools are heavy but have soft feet making them easy to slide around. The hinges work well. Standard cupboard hinges. The “leather” tops are….interesting. They have a bit of a metallic sheen to them that makes them look cheap, which they most definitely are. Not much cushion either. And they are quite low to the ground.The table itself is also low for a dining table. It’s actually great for boardgames or cards, as a folding chair has you a bit high above it making it easy to reach across, but not ideal for dining. But then, this is designed as a table to use in a pinch.Seller was responsive and shipping was faster than Amazon said it would be (ordered on a Tuesday, received it on Monday)Overall we are pleased. I’ve knocked off a couple of stars for some issues with the finish, as can be seen in the photos (which are of the base of the table) or mentioned above. Minor things, but there are a number of them. I was more concerned that the structural integrity of the table would be poor, so I am happy to report it is not.
