The leg rest doesnât stay up, the arm is so weak that my elbow went through it just lifting my 140lb body, it had a horrible smell and took a full bottle of Febreeze fabric spray before I could sit in it. The only saving grace is the one star for the massage feature. Just stay away, itâs garbage

Thanks to the excellent reviews I read online, I took a chance and ordered this chair. Everything about it is exactly what I was hoping for. It fits me and my space. Special thanks to the friendly delivery person, it arrived early and took me five minutes to put it together. Then I enjoyed the first of many 15 – 30 minute massages. All of the positive reviews, really do help make shopping decisions easier. Good quality. Great price. Excellent service. What more could I ask?

Products pretty good little smaller then I expected and a lot less cushion then I hoped for but it is one of the cheaper ones the message is top notch tho lots of settings really helps lower back after days work biggest down side is the locking mechanism thatâs holds the chair laying. Back or foot rest out doesnât clip in to well so basically if I try to adjust myself it almost always goes down then I have to re set it I have a toddler who likes to cuddle and there chair isnât really built for that so keep that in mind if I got small kids who like to cuddle and sleep with you but all and all if u have a small apartment or area and donât wanna spend much cash I recommend this chair

Not worth it for $400
Been about 6 months since I bought this and when I put pressure on the arm rests to get up I broke themUpdate now 1 year owning it and the back cushions are all worn out and the full up foot rest is not as sturdy anymore

 This recliner chair is astonishing. It has an 90-160 degrees turn. The recliner chair is very stable and it can even give you very relaxing massages once you done an tiring job.It is very easy to control and it has eight different modes of massages you can use and also a timer that can be set up for 15/30 minutes, the massage is more like a vibration and is not strong, but it is a pleasant feeling.Itâs amazing just how comfy this chair truly is. Actually, when I tried it out, I was shocked. Itâs not a barebones, thinly-padded kind of recliner that you tend to get for small spaces. Itâs nicely padded, soft to the touch, and lends itself to smaller spaces without gobbling up visual space. I have this particular recliner in our theater and I think I will probably get two more.The chairs cushions are waterproof, very soft and itâs made with good material. The chair even comes with side pockets to help you hold other stuff that you need.Overall very durable and nice material matches any room since the black color. Would recommend to anyone looking for a massage chair and would definitely recommend to my relatives.

I wanted a recliner, and I needed one small enough to fit comfortably in a small studio apartment. Most recliners are much too bulky, and I needed something that would be practical while not causing the room to feel cramped or cluttered. I also didn’t want to spend a lot of money on it, because I plan to move within the next year or two. I also have cats, and any chair will automatically, by default, become a new scratch post for them, whether I like it or not.While browsing on Amazon, I came across this recliner by Giantex. Since this product was new to Amazon, there wasn’t any reviews to help me to make an informed purchase. I browsed at other recliners that were similar in construction, and size, and in the same price bracket. The massage function was an additional benefit. I really just needed a chair. I eventually chose this one.It’s not bad, for a petite recliner. It is petite. It’s designed like a chair that reclines, not a recliner. The height of the back piece from seat cushion to top, is about 25″. I am 5’6 1/2″ and when the chair is in a fully upright (seated) position, I cannot rest my head on it. The back piece reaches to just about the middle of my neck. However, in any of the reclining positions, I am able to rest my head onto the back of it. If you are 5’5″ or shorter, it’s a good fit. If you are any taller, it’s not going to work out very well as a typical recliner. I think that it is most suitable as a recliner for a teen or young child’s game room, but it can work for adults also. It is great for small spaces and fits comfortably in a studio apartment.Despite the minor inconvenience of the height of the back piece, it’s a lot nicer “in person” than it is online. It looks like any other faux leather chair. The frame is very sturdy and the cushions are a decent depth, though there isn’t a lot of cushion around the armrests, or sides. Since this chair has a modern design, the arm rests are positioned lower than those on other recliners, but they are still at a comfortable height on which to rest ones arms.It is a lot more comfortable than I expected for it to be. It’s certainly not a La-Z-Boy or a Serta, but it is still very nicely made, and the comfort level is adequate. I sat in the chair, as I worked on my laptop, and wrote this review. The massage function works extremely well and is comparable to any other massage chair on the market. I wasn’t expecting for it to work as well as it did.The box in which it arrives weighs about 60lbs. If one is in need of transporting it up a flight of stairs, it’s definitely a two person job. It is nicely packaged. It arrives almost completely assembled. Further assembly takes about five minutes – literally. All one needs to do is attach the back piece and legs, and plug in the massage wires. The feet are made of a hard plastic and screw easily into the pre-drilled holes in the bottom of the chair.One thing that really impressed me was the customer service by Giantex. The shipment of this recliner was delayed by eight days due to Covid-19 shipping delays. I contacted the seller and was going to cancel my order. The seller was quick to respond, and very apologetic, even offering a slight discount if I could just wait a few more days. I chose to do that, mostly because I just really needed a chair to sit in. This was not a Prime purchase, but shipping was eventually quick after the initial delay. I give Giantex five stars for excellent customer service.Overall, I am satisfied with my purchase, and on account of their exemplary customer service, I would definitely purchase additional pieces from Giantex again.

I want to return it but the thought of taken apart and re boxingX2 it, taking it to postal service for return is just too much for me. Its not a bad chair. The reviews I read were iffy and it was a risk. Had my fingers crossed it would be beneficial. So in effort to help future buyers of this chair I am doing a more in depth review. Again, its a nice chairs but if I saw it in person I probably would have passed on the purchase.Measurements I wish I had before purchase as follows.I was concerned the height of chair the back support would be short but it was actually a perfect height. I am 5ft 8 inches in height, united states born and raised with a normal torso in length.Measurements for height of chair head to lower back, or to your bottom are 24 inches in length.Seat cushion for your bottom, 18 inches in length. Also 18 inches in width. I got hips nd Im a thick lady but I fit and its comfortable but you can’t turn sideways. I don’t know if anyway sits to the side in chairs as I some times do, you can’t in this chair. length from floor to cushion you sit your bottom on, 12 inches and this is terrible for me because I need and want height when it comes to sitting. That part is what kills it for me. Much padding for seat area and back none on armrests.The recliner part is nice, very much comfortable when you recline. Chairs are not big and bulky like recliners we once knew. Easy to move around if you need to. I went for these for the massager, bad choice. I could have saved myself $200 by getting the one without massager and use the massage pad for chairs which I already have. I bought these chairs to replace the ones we already had in our bedroom (not recliners). We did a bedroom redo so that meant everything new. With tax paid $434.48 because I ordered two. I don’t feel they are worth the price I paid, massager doesn’t make a big difference in real time. The look of the chairs is nice, I like that they are more compact giving more room in the room. If only Amazon had showrooms throughout the U.S. Hopefully this review helps the next person wondering about things I wished I knew before purchase. 70/30%, 70%, I wished I didn’t purchase. 30%, they are cute and have some nice qualities but I’m still iffy.

This product was chosen because of the style, and design of reclining comfort. It was to be used to set in during the day to set beside my sister’s bed in rehab from an accident and to sleep in through the night beside her bed. It was appealing because of the massage, electric movement, (so it appeared) because of back pain from a car accident injury myself. From the first time of using the chair, I had to keep pushing with my back to keep it reclined, and there were NO instructions that told me to lift up on the arms of the chair to recline farther back. It was impossible to get any sleep in it let alone any comfort.
