It’s good until it isn’t – and then customer support is terrible
For the first few months this chair was great. It’s overall comfortable and exactly what I was looking for.Issues: Then the adjustable seat back wouldn’t stay in place vertically, so it would continuously slide down no matter how tight the knob was turned. And then the creaking started. Non stop creaking. I tightened every screw and it didn’t make a difference.Warranty / Lack of Support: This chair has a 2 year warranty. Within the warranty period I reached out to Flash Furniture. It took over weeks for them to even acknowledge my claim. Then they opened a ticket under a mattress – which was obviously not what I had purchased. Finally they said they were ‘shipping me a part to fix the issue’ without confirming anything (shipping address, what this part would do, etc.). The part was shipped and I watched it travel on FedEx from Georgia, around a few states and back to Flash Furniture in Georgia. I still don’t have it and no one is answering me.So at this point I’m shopping for a new chair. Warranty is useless – beware.

Everything turned out well, one issue was delivery delay mainly due to Canada Post, saying that it was worth the wait.

Avoid This Chair
I bought this chair not too long ago, and it’s already creaking. I don’t know where the creaking is coming from, but it started day 3. Assembly wasn’t all that easy either. The mounting holes for the seat weren’t properly aligned, and needed some forceful persuasion, and the whole thing sits at a slight angle because of this. Basically, avoid this chair.Edit: After having it for a few months, I’ve noticed more problems:- The chair pops constantly whenever I lean back, so I’m stuck sitting slouched forward to avoid that loud and obnoxious sound.- The height doesn’t stay where I put it. It sinks slowly over time.- The armrests are clunky and hard to adjust, like the holes aren’t sized right.- The cushion is flat… like, I haven’t even had the chair that long, really, and the cushion is almost completely flat.Overall, a must-avoid. This chair isn’t for you. This chair isn’t for anyone. It’s a waste of money.

I’ve used this chair daily for work since Jan. ’21. As expected, the cushions on the arms have begun to crack and shed foam. I reached out to Flash Furniture to see about replacing the arms. They pointed out the chair was past warranty so there was nothing they could do. This is understandable, which I acknowledged, and said I just wanted to replace the arms. They said they don’t have the parts, so I would need to buy a new chair. That seems profoundly excessive and wasteful – throw out a functioning chair because the cushions are cracked? If they did not carry the parts, I would have thought they could share the necessary information so I can find the replacements. But nope.

It looks nice and has a sturdy seat. Itâs better than what I had. Disappointing that the arms donât go in. If youâre a smaller frame you canât sit with your arms at 90 degree angle using the arm rests. Great they go up and down but should go in and out.Also, have no idea if the seat tilt even works. Nothing happens! Help! I feel it tilts and I need it to be flat.Lastly, the white base gets dirty very quickly. Itâs the material. Itâs better than whatI had bc I donât need extra back and seat support but not as great as the one from my office ergo group.

Needed a new chair for 8+ hours a day working conditions. The tilt is a little stiff, but it supports my back and doesnât pinch a nerve as other chairs did. I have a smaller stature and most other chairs I have tried are too large for me, but I can sit pretty comfortably in this, reach the arm rests, and not feel swallowed up.

Brought chair in Jan2021 for my home office. Noticed the chair will start to drop/go down and I will need to push the lever to bring myself up again multiple times a day. My experience is dont expect chair to last more than a year or so.

I like the chair but I didn’t receive the item pictured. After 3 returns I finally gave up and kept the drafting style. It does not come with any explanation on the levers. I don’t know what most of them do. They don’t seem to do anything. Only the one that lifts and lowers the seat. I love that the armrests can be up or down.
