I am in online college and I have had this chair for about 1 year andIt leans to one side. – no there were no pops when I was leaning in it and using itIt has slowly been sinking…the chair does not lift to its original height anymore.It is NOT easy to clean! IT IS IMPOSSIBLE TO GET ANYTHING OUT OF THE MESH. -yes i vacuum it and beat on it and it is still awful!There are SO SO SO MANY other options that are far superior for the same price or even cheaper. It really is a waste of money if you have to buy another chair a year later.Not even worth $30

It took a little struggle to get assembled.The base plate which attaches to the bottom of the chair wasn’t exactly as contoured as the chair you are attaching it to. Thus you might have a little trouble getting all 4 screws in at the same time.Just remember, insert each screw and give only 1 full turn to each until all 4 are in. Then tighten each down a quart way, one at a time, until all are secured snugly. You might need to apply some pressure on that base plate to get that 4th screw to catch hold. You’ll see what I mean if you buy one of these. I got it assembled.It looks good and is comfortable. I like the color. The price was right. Overall satisfied. But come on, a little more precision in the manufacturing could have made the assembly easier.

I bought this office chair for work from home use. I wanted something that was comfortable and fit under my desk. This meets those requirements. I removed one star due to the quality of the assembly instructions, not for the item itself.The box contained all pieces and hardware required to put the chair together. There were no missing or damaged pieces.My drawbacks are below:1) The instructions are more confusing than necessary. The labels between the hardware and the written instructions are different, which resulted in me thinking that I was missing bolts when I was not.2) If I understood how the back attached to the arms, I probably would have assembled the seat, back and one arm before attaching the second arm. It requires some muscling to get the seat back in place after both arms have been attached to the seat.3) When the arms are lifted, you can’t pull your arms back to stretch as comfortably as when they are down.4) The adjustment knob for the rocking mechanism is so far back that you can only adjust it while standing.Pros:1) If I lean back, I don’t feel like the chair is unstable (I once had an office chair that fell over every time I went to rock.)2) The mechanism to lock/unlock the rocking mechanism is easy to use. (Just pull out the height adjustment lever.)3) Comfortable for my 5’3″, somewhat overweight body.4) Fits under my desk when the arms are down. (Again, I’m not particulary tall, so the chair is basically at its lowest height setting.)
