    It is complicated…
    The stools looked great but the foam in the seats stunk so bad that we got sick from it. We obtained permission to return them which we appreciated, but instead we decided to keep them and make new upholstered seats for them. We did that, which cost us $125 for materials. Now they are great stools! Even after leaving the seats outside for weeks the original seats still stink.

    These stools are great! Very sturdy and well made. All the parts were included and they assembled easily. We purchased 4 and they look nice and are comfortable. The cushion is larger around than others we looked at and your bottom sits nicely. We wanted something sturdy that wasn’t too bulky looking and heavy for our heavier guests and these are perfect!

    These are great looking traditional stools! They are 24” counter top height, with padded, swivel seats, 400 lb capacity and very comfy. Assembly is required but is quick and straight forward. Get a 4mm hex driver bit for your cordless drill. It will save a LOT of assembly time!!!

    I bought this set of bar stools for my husband who is experiencing leg weakness with a medical issue. He loves to cook, so I thought these would help him out but wanted something that looked like a substantial piece of furniture for a kitchen island. These fit the bill! They arrived early, were just bolts and washers and all I needed to use for tools was the little tool that was sent with them! I literally had both put together within an hour! He is as happy as can be, cooking delicious food on a very comfortable piece of furniture! The seat rotates, so he can slide on and off easily and it’s tall enough for his 5’8″ stature (I’m 5’2 and they are a bit too tall for me). The cushion is nice, the seats are soft. The wood is very sturdy, and I can see them lasting us many years. They look exactly as shown in the picture and I will order a couple more of these, if I can find them in a little shorter height for short people!
