Good Quality and Suitable for Back Pain
I like everything about this chair the only problem which is really annoying me is the wheelbase. It’s not skin friendly and it has sharp edges. If your feet accidentally hit it from the bottom, it will tear and hurt your skin. I’m wiping the blood from my feet heel as I’m writing this review. This has happened to me and my wife multiple times so far.I hope the manufacturers see this review and do something about it in the next versions.

Here’s why:**Comfort:** This chair is incredibly comfortable, thanks to its ergonomic design. The adjustable lumbar support and headrest provide excellent support for long hours of sitting, reducing strain on my back and neck.**Adjustability:** One of the standout features of this chair is its adjustability. Everything from the seat height and armrests to the tilt tension can be customized to fit my preferences perfectly. It’s great for finding the ideal sitting position for maximum comfort and productivity.**Quality:** The build quality of the Duramont chair is impressive. It feels sturdy and well-made, and the materials used are durable and of high quality. Super confortable for a big male person
I tried to find a chair that was adjustable as much as it was possible. This one has them all with the exception of the sitting part tilt/placement (some chairs that i tried were cutting behind my legs after sitting longer). It goes up enough and if you are taller (I think they were mentioning 6.5 feet) it has enough space for the legs, also when you sitting, as a male, you can open your legs and be confortable because the arm rest are not in the way on the side. The lombar support can be adjusted for higher position and also for depth. The reclining part i try it but I will not use it too much during work (this is a chair for working) but it locks your preference which is neat. The roller blade wheels are good and slides well but sometimes they lock on the side and you need to jigle a little to make it get out of that position. Also not a big problem. I had a surpirse for a flyer with a QR code and after an exchange on sms got a text indicating that i got more warranty then the 5 years promoted. I save the info to have it for the future (which I suggest) because I’m sure in some years I’ll not have that sms anymore. I review in the future to let you know how it will keep over the time.

Good lumbar support, minimal armrest support/adjustments, SCRAPES YOUR TABLE!
Day 2 and my nice computer table has SCRAPES on it now! I dare not use the arm rests above the table top.HORRIBLE Design damages our nice tables. Why did they make the bolts under the armrest sharp?!ESPECIALLY if they aren’t going to put adjustments to let you maneuver the arm rest angles/depth.Otherwise, seems OK. Not the best quality, so far it’s holding up.Would appreciate if they could reimburse me for the damages done to my sit/stand table top 🙁

Seat is extremely firm but lumbar support is great
The chair was easy to assemble. It is a fantastic solid chair. My only issue was the seat was too firm. There was no cushioning for me at all. I have issues with my hips and lower back and after a couple of hours, it caused pain. I typically like a fairly firm seat so I didnât think the other reviews of it being too firm applied to me. The lumbar support is fantastic. We did have issues trying to separate the base from the gaslift. We had to return it with it attached.

This chair is not what is cost! Not at all confortable! Serious height adjustment problem
I had this chair long enough to be sure of what I write. It is not at all standard! The height is nit easily adjustebale and wouldn’t go down more than a certain level which is way higher than any ither chairs. It has caused me back and neck pain and is usless . The only reason i dudn’t return it is that I couldn’t take it to any where to return . I spent a fortune on it and am so disappointed!

First impressions. Replacing a Respawn gaming chair, looking for something with a more robust seat. The Respawn seat flattened to the wood in a few weeks, had to buy a butt cushion, but that’s another review. I need a solid well constructed, very comfy all-day chair for telehealth work. I was looking at mesh chairs, but worried about stretch and longevity. Wife nixed all my cushy leathery chairs like the Sertas, and got me to buy this one. Looked like a nice cushy seat, comfortable airy back. Seemed a bit pricey, but I’m cheap (the Sertas evidence to the contrary), which is why the wife picked the chair. It looked good, so we bought the Duramont ergonomic chair for a solid seat and a mesh back, a hybrid.Nicely boxed, heavy. Well packaged, arrived undamaged. Unpacked in a few minutes. I followed the easy directions, one page. Had it together in less than 25 min. It really does come with white cotton gloves, and a very nice T hex wrench. Popped the wheels on, stuck the airlift in the very heavy solid metal base. Nice wheels. The cat is a very big 18 lb Siberian for scale, who is head butting my phone as I try to write this. His name is Zaphod, big lovey lug of a cat. I used the box as a table to build the seat on which made getting it together by myself quite easy. I set the seat upside down on the box. I put the base on first, instead of the armrests, because as an American ain’t no one the boss of me. Actually, because ts massively heavy and held the seat down steady. 4 bolts, solid, felt like they could take gorilla tight, but I stopped just short. The armrests were also easy, but I could feel the wood give a bit on a couple bolts so they are nice and tight but also not gorilla tight. Solid. This thing is a tank. First sitting: luxurious? No. Kinda utilitarian. Wicked comfy? Hella yeah. The seat is firm and very comfortable for my 5″11″, 235 lbs of chubby buddy. Loving that lumbar pad support, right where its suppose to be on my back. I found I have the armrests all the way up, as well as the head rest, but it’s quite comfortable. This seat can be raised really high, my feet don’t quite touch the ground at full extension of the airlift, nice for my high desk. First impression: solid, well constructed very comfy chair. Is it worth $329? I wouldn’t have bought it, but I’m cheap. My wife never misses getting the quality she pays for, this chair included. Tomorrow’s work day will tell if its a solid, well constructed very comfy all-day chair. If you want quality, this is a good bet.

I had this chair delivered yesterday after spending a few weeks looking through several options on Amazon and on the web. In a nutshell, this chair is just as good as my office chair, which was specially ordered for me to address occupational health issues with my back. Indeed, I initially considered buying a chair like the one in my office but the price was nearly 6x over what the Duramont is on Amazon. The only difference being that the arm rests can’t be adjusted in- or out-wards (but they can certainly be adjusted up or down). The materials and mechanism are visibly high quality, and all the nuts, bolts for assembly, including a handy tool and gloves, come in a cardboard pack. I assembled the product within 20 minutes. Having been through several chairs in my 50-years, I would definitely recommend this one, especially for users from a medium to large frame who like a sturdy, firm chair (I’m 6’2” 82kg/12.9 st). I should also suggest, that if you’re inclined to go for an option that is around £100 cheaper, do yourself a favour and invest in this one. To finalise, I have a small beef with the inclusion of a “Scan to claim 10-year warranty” card that asks to point your mobile phone to a QR code and “Watch what happens”. What happens is that this triggers a script that launched my phone’s text app with a code to be sent to a phone number in Nicaragua (country code 505). Because I’m mindful of personal data protection concerns, I will not be claiming my 10-year warranty, but I’m indeed confident the chair will at least last me 6 years (as the one I’ve just replaced did).

Buy this chair now! I’m doing to do my best to be as concise as possible and refrain from going on an endless rant about how much I love this chair. What I’m going to do instead is accurately and thoroughly review this marvel of modern engineering. First I’d like to tell you a little bit about myself. I’m a 6 foot tall 250 pound military member with previous surgery on L5S1 which has left me with nerve pain every day of my life as well as problems on three other levels of my spine. Generally chairs aren’t designed to seat a person of my stature and won’t last very long. I requirea chair that’s very sturdy, adjustable and ergonomic. The box came, overjoyed I struggled to lift it into my apartment. The first thing I noticed was the weight of the box. It gave me a sense of assurance in knowing that I bought quality. The Hardware felt to be of good manufacturing. Also I received double the hardware necessary to assemble the chair. I LOVE EXTRA HARDWARE. The instructions were very well illustrated and the chair built in minutes. One thing that I really appreciated was the way adjustments were engineered into the design of the chair. While assembling you can adjust the width of the arm rests. Once the bolts are tightened down your arm rests will only adjust up and down. Another adjustment built into the chairs construction is controlling the distance from the seat to the back rest. This is generally only a feature on higher end chairs and I was happy to see that is has quite a bit of range. The roller blade wheels are amazing! My apartment has tile floor and my old terrible chair struggled to move anywhere, often getting tiny wheels stuck in the grooves of the tile. It generally made navigating chasms of my unorganized room clumsy and difficult. With these rollerblade wheels I can glide from one end of the room to the other. Its effortless, I love it.The mesh feels very comfortable and breathable. The lumbar support is amazing. I nearly fell asleep the moment I sat in this. The lever that allows the chair to tilt back or sit straight up is the kind of lever that you push down or pull up. This is very good because some other chairs have a lever that’s essentially a bar that you slide horizontally. Over time the bar can work its way out so when you go to sit back in your chair the lever pops out and the char sends you flying backward. This has happened to me at least fifty or sixty times and I have ended up on the ground as a result of this. The design of the seat back lever of prevents this from happening. This chair is so comfortable that I felt the need to write this review as soon as I sat down. Already my back feels better, my nerve pain is reduced. I had been sitting on a broken chair for over a year and a half until I noticed the amount of discomfort I was ignoring and pulled the trigger on this. I will update this review if anything changes or the chair fails overtime.

I’ll keep this short and sweet:Pros:- Chair was pretty easy to assemble by myself, and the included hex-key tool worked great- Fairly comfortable and supportive- Chair height and lumbar support are great and easy to adjust to where you need them- Rollerblade wheels are a nice touchCons:- some of the parts appear very cheap and plastic-y- the headrest adjustment knobs were broken on the chair I received. Lucky for me though, the spot where it falls to is actually where I need it sitting at, so whatever.- the armrests are super cheap and don’t have many adjustment options.Overall the chair is nice, but I don’t quite think it’s worth $340. I’d say at $220 or less this chair would worth it.

I also bought one for my wife who is 5’8″. Works great for her as well.Pros- Takes 15 mins to put together… I think it’s like 13 screws total.- Sturdy and well built. All stress points look to be metal or very heavy duty plastic.- Arm and head rests adjust up and down. So it’s very comfortable- Had it a couple weeks now and most my neckback pain has gone away.Cons- It’s fairly heavy so not easy to move up and down stairs.- Arm rests don’t fit tightly so they clank a little when you move. (very minor complaint) All other connections are tight and noiseless.
