I have had a horrible ordeal for the last twelve months going through numerous platform bed alternatives on behalf of my wife who has chronic back pain. First the expensive one that was too hard; then back to the old bed for a while; then the nice wooden platform with high legs that made it difficult for her to get in the bed; then the assembly error that caused the wooden platform’s slats to displace and then collapse. I have had to assemble and disassemble king sized beds probably five times in the last six months; every time it creates clutter in the bedroom and I can also testify that king sized mattresses are pretty darned heavy.Finally, with this DiaOutro Bed frame, problem solved. The box was smaller and more manageable than usual because the lengthwise frame pieces came in two parts that bolt together rather than one. The metal construction was obviously much stronger than the wood frame of the previous contestant. And crucially there was no ambiguity in how the pieces might fit together. Very easy to assemble, and extremely solid and sturdy to sleep on. Also, half the price of the wooden platform.

I recently returned a similar type of steel bed frame to Amazon. I spent a lot of time looking at the bed frame products and the reviews. I decided to purchase this one. I am usually a skeptic and I can be a hard to please consumer. THIS ONE IS GREAT. It met all my needs and expectations. I do recommend that in the assembly it will be best to have two people doing this. Fastening the screw and nuts through the holes at the four corners really needs two people to do this properly which we found out. With that said, assembly is smooth and easy and the directions are straight forward. All components are properly marked and there re even some spare screws included (if you strip them during assembly). I found that to be a delightful bonus. I highly , highly recommend this manufacturer and this specific model. I am still a very happy Amazon customer !

Measure your mattress before ordering. Be sure your mattress is at least as large – or a bit larger – than the bed frame… the corners of the metal are sharp and could knock a knee!Assembly is easy but takes some time – the frame arrives in a long skinny box. But it is sturdy.
