was nervous because of some of the reviews but I’m happy with it
super easy to put together and very pretty. when I first sat on it, I was a bit concerned as it was not comfortable but after a few days of being assemble, it’s really comfortable and changing it into a bed is super easy

Lovely futon .. appears sturdy but quite hard for sitting but I purchased for extra bed and did purchase a 3 in. memory foam for it and super comfortable to sleep onâ¦

Great buy!
Like other reviews it is abit firm but i really like it anyways! Building it was pretty easy but did take abit of time. It can literally fold in half for storage or to help move it out of your home which i thought was so cool!Only complaint is that you have to be careful where you lay if your a heavier person. If you try on the back of the couch you could fall due to it being unbalanced.

Unit arrived in a box as it has a center hinge and folds in half which is super convenient for storage if needed. It looks amazing and matches my headboard in my studio apartment so it really does bring the wow factor but it is not that comfortable for sitting and sleeping. I am going to get a padded mattress cover for times when I use for sleeping as it needs more cushion. I love the look and the price point is great and super easy to set up but I really don’t watch much TV so this will suit my purpose. Update: sent this back, not adequate for sitting or sleeping. Update: this futon can cause injury as when the unit is folded flat, the unit tips over if weight is distributed on the back support part of the unit. I believe the design is flawed and does not account for users possibly sitting on the back support side of the unit in the bed configuration. Also the unit is not comfortable and is actually very uncomfortable to sit, lie or lounge on. I pulled my old Ikea system out of storage which always get rave reviews for comfort but not for style. This unit is style and very low substance and shipping back is a super big hassle and cost. Better to buy a decent larger couch which will work better, more comfort and safer.

Exactly what I wanted
I was hesitant to order at first, as I wasnât sure what the quality/comfort would be, and if the box would be too big to have at the place I was sharing with my ex before I moved. Well the box was smaller than expected as the futon has a centre hinge in addition to the reclining hinges, and the feet and parts are stashed in a hidden hole underneath. It wasnât too heavy for a couple of able bodied people to manoeuvre, just a bit cumbersome. I had it set up within 5-10 minutes as the instructions were straightforward and had very few steps. The seat back positions took a few tries to work out the trick but I have it where I want now (recline positon is ideal for relaxing, gaming and⦠romance). The comfort is as I wanted. Sure I may like things hard, but anyone who complains it is too hard and hurts their back clearly needs to go see a chiropractor. Reclined position is like being held in a gentle giantâs palm. The seat depth is also just what I wanted. You donât feel the middle seam unlike some reviews are saying, as the futon is still firm enough that you donât sink in excessively. I had a friend over for relaxing with pizza and video games and he said it was a decent futon too.

Nice little convertible sofa. Be aware it pretty stiff. Good for sitting but not comfy for lying on. Just say. To convert to bed you would need to buy a decent foam topper

This is exactly what I wanted. I have it in my home office. Using it while I work from home and can occasionally lounge during a break. It looks high quality and is comfortable for what I need. An accent pillow will compliment this well. Assembly takes no time at all, just screw on the legs. Leather is faux but looks really nice. I donât see myself using it as a bed but if I had no choice it could work. All in all Iâm very happy with it.

Looks great. Put in sons room, upstairs at our riverhouse. It is perfect for his friends and him to hang out, watch TV, and then sleep his friends. In a large room with king bed. Fits and looks perfect! Pleased with purchase. Value add!

At first I liked this. It was affordable and looked pretty good. It was easy to assemble, had it finished in minutes.But over time I started liking it less and less. You can feel the bands they use to hold the “cushions” in place when you sit or lay on it.Even worse, as you can see, it has completely started collapsing in the middle and there’s no way to fix it. So now I have a sofa that looks like crud after one year and will have to go get something else.

Bought this for $300 to temporarily replace my dog – chewed sofa while I sold my house and moved across the country. I’m currently sending back the second $1400 sofa that Joybird has sent me, and I’m back on this guy. It’s little, the cushions are thin, and it’s kind of a pain to move, but unlike the Joybird sofas it came built properly, undamaged, and now that I’ve pulled it back out for my main seat, I realize it’s more comfortable than the sofas that cost 4 times as much.Overall it’s probably a 2 star sofa in the wide world of sofas but it’s an 11 star value.
