Got this bunk bed for my 3 yr old and 4 year old. Fairly easy to put together. Thought there would be more than a pin in each leg to stack them but it works. The ladder came with a chip or almost like a water bubble on it. Doesnât bother us much reallyâ¦. I have laid down with both kids on top and bottom and supported us. Little creaky when getting off but works. The kids love it.Would prefer if we were able to chose as to what side the ladder could be on as we had to rearrange the room to have the bed/ ladder fit.

I’ve built many many things over the years, and I have to say nothing comes close to the professional quality of this set of bunk beds. From the secure packaging, the clear instructions, the individually packaged (and labeled) hardware, I am extremely impressed. I was putting on the mattresses after about an hour – start to finish – by myself. You can tell that whoever oversees the QC is someone who has probably had a few bad experiences, building other products, and is determined to make these bunk beds stand out. Every screw hole was exactly where is should have been. Even the little pilot holes, where there, in the right spot. An entire bag of extra hardware is included just in case, but I didn’t need any. Once assembled, I jumped on the top bunk and tried to shake it to break it, as my granddaughters would soon try and do, but they held up then and are still in great shape today, after a couple of months of use by the seven and eight year olds.I have to commend the folks at Costzon for making a great quality product. For the price, you’d be hard pressed to find better beds. We have 3 and 4 year olds, so we built them separately and haven’t stacked them yet, but they’re EXTREMELY sturdy.There’s only one problem, which honestly isn’t a problem if you bypass it – the slats that the mattress sits on top of are secured to the bed frame by pre-drilled screw holes which you can tighten with the provided allen wrench. These holes are at the first and last slat, and two more evenly spaced in between. This stretches the slats out as far as they will go and keeps them in place as much as you’d ever need. The directions THEN call for you to HAND SCREW in tiny screws through tiny pre-drilled holes in every other slat that isn’t secured by the other screws. I got about 3/4 of the way in and the screw would not turn anymore. The directions specifically tell you not to use a power drill, and for the life of me I could not screw it in anymore by hand. I’m 6’4 230, and I can confirm that anyone of any size could assemble every other part of the bed, but unless mine was defective, you’re going to kill yourself hand screwing in those other slats. The thing is, with the screws that went in with an allen wrench already stretching the slats out, there’s NO REASON for the other ones. Just ditch all those small screws.Beds are amazing other than that unnecessary part.

It did take a while to put together, but the directions were good. The beds stacked on top each other are super sturdy. I looked at a ton of beds that had less than 160 lb capacity. My kids are little now, but I didn’t want to worry about more than one kid on the top bunk or what if I needed to help them go to sleep. The weight capacity of this bed was totally worth the cost. Very well made and safe!

I thought this bunk bed was very easy to assemble despite the million pieces it comes with. I love the option of either two twin beds or bunkbed style. However, if you are looking for a good quality made product, well, you get what you pay for. My kids are still young so I didn’t worry, but had they been older, it likely wouldn’t have worked out. Furthermore, it even feels like it is cheaply produced as I never found it comfortable the few times I’ve climbed in with my kiddos while they were under the weather despite them both having luxury mattresses. But they are cute and affordable so it’s done the job.

My boys use these as separate twin beds for the time being but I love they they can use them as bunk beds when they get older!
