The polycarbonate material is much stiffer than PVC and doesn’t bend under the chair wheel which allows the chair to move easier, because the polycarbonate doesn’t bend back and forth under the wheel it should last much longer, time will tell how long it lasts, but I am confident that it will.

Works very well. I bought a couple of different chair mats and was dismayed at how badly the mat would sink into the carpet, leaving me stuck and unable to wheel by chair without getting up.This mat is very thin but very hard. It doesn’t warp at all, even sitting on a chair for hours at a time. That’s with about 170lbs of weight pressing down on 5 office chair casters. I’m very happy with this purchase having used it regularly for about 3 months now.

I have a big gaming chair and i weigh 185ish lbs and i can roll around perfectly on this on a high ply carpet. doesn’t dig into the plastic and rolls smoothly.

Overpriced junk
Contrary to claim, wheels dent this with 175lb adult. It will be cracked in no time. Bought the model for âcarpet over 1/2â thickâ and the 1/8â spikes are useless – it migrates 6-8â from the desired location, with very minimal use. Looked at so many. Seems to be impossible to buy a true heavy-duty chair mat for plush carpet, for less than $700-$1,000, which is ridiculous.

This is an amazing floor mat. The high price should certainly be more than offset by its longevity. I am a 180lb person and there’s no digging-in or serious deformity that results from castors rolling on the mat.

Too Much Flex When On Deep Pile Carpet
Not terrible but it does flex so that the wheels don’t turn properly on the chair when I’m sitting on it. It should be stiffer which would also help with the travelling issue that many others report.

It may cost twice as much but you know what – you get what you pay for.I weigh 210 pounds and sitting in my desk chair I don’t put any dents at all in this mat. It is very rigid and easy to roll around on. And it ships flat. My home office is a spare bedroom and I have the standard home carpet and padding in the US. The only quality question is that the little spikes are not square to the cut of the mat. And since the mat is clear I can see the spikes. If you bounce light off them just right they almost look like little LED’s so it’s pretty noticeable. I still gave it 5 stars, this is the one to get for carpet.After using it for a month I can say that I still roll around on it very easy, no indentations at all. But it does walk around a little bit on the carpet. It doesn’t stay in place. Maybe the spikes aren’t long enough or sharp enough. Still not a deal breaker for me. I just nudge it back into position when I vacuum. No regrets.

I needed a chair mat made for carpet. I tried the less expensive chair mat. It came rolled up in a tube. The edges started curling from day one and became a bit of a tripping hazard. So after reading the reviews on this one I decided to spend a little more and try it out. It came as a flat piece wrapped in cardboard. It went in flat under my chair and continues to stay flat. My chair rolls easily on it and it is holding up just fine after two months of daily use. I am very pleased with this mat and would buy it again.

Iâve been working from home since 2015 and Iâve been through several of these things. Most dent pretty bad and my chair starts settling in the same spot, then it starts cracking around the dents. So far this hasnât dented and doesnât show signs of any, so Iâm really happy with that. My only complaint is that it does tend to move around and I have to slide it under my cabinet every few days.

I read so many reviews for different mats that seemed to indicate they donât work on regular carpet because they either crack or the chair wheels leave indents, that I started to believe it wasnât possible to find a mat they wouldnât do that. I was nervous about ordering this for my home office in our spare bedroom, but Iâve had this for a few months now, and it shows zero signs of wear (I spend many hours everyday sitting at my desk on this mat). I also lifted the mat when I shampooed the carpet and didnât see any sign of damage to the carpet. I highly recommend this for people looking for a chair mat that works well on carpet.

Overall really happy with this. Came packaged âsandwichedâ between two pieces of cardboard so didnât have to unroll it. Fairly thick and withstands a pretty substantial Branch chair. Only wish is that the studs on the bottom were a little longer as it tends to shift during the day when used with a high pile carpet. Guessing they couldnât make them too long or else it would sit too high on low pile carpets.
