I was hesitant at first bc of some of the existing reviews. Mine came perfect, the hinges are intact with no issues, the ivory velvet was clean with no marks. It is exactly the shade I expected, it’s not ‘yellow’ like one of the reviewers said; it’s a very light cream colour.The legs are indeed short but using this as storage bench and a place for my plushies to sit on is perfect especially inside a condo. Of course this will look tiny when you place it against a King sized bed.There’s a plastic half-sphere support at the base of each leg so it makes pushing this bench on non-carpetted flooring super easy.No odour either.The only iffy thing is the packaging; this bench was literally stored inside a white dust bag inside a cardboard box with no extra padding whatsoever. I can see why some people received this damaged. I got super lucky with mine!Very very happy with my purchase!

Beautiful ivory velvet bench. I can’t believe the beautiful quality for the price. The storage is just enough for a bedroom. The buttons are very well made. Beautiful all around. !!!

Ordered Ivory, seat seems a little different colour than arms.
The colourization looked like two die lots, some thread was showing through. Tried to return for a replacement but never heard anything more when filled out the return form. It is also a little low for the end of a King bed, I recommend eight inch legs.

 I am completely happy with my purchase! I had read some negative reviews about quality so I wasnt expecting much for the low price. So when it arrived and I unboxed it I was wonderfully surprised! It was light enough at 33lbs for me to get up the stairs on my own but its wee little legs and sturdy seat support my big booty with no trouble! Here are the aspects I was most impressed with that I would have wanted to know before I bought it (it wouldnt have taken me so long to decide XD): 1) it is SUPER cute and looks just like it does in the picture! 2) its material is described as velvet and its color is described as ivory. Both of these are accurate and the material seems so posh. Oh i really like this thing. I petted it in the video so you can see what its like. 3) the workmanship is MUCH better than i expected – the storage lid doesnt have to be held up, it stays up on its own. The threads on the screws were protected by rubber nubbins, among other extra care in packaging – it really shows they cared about the customer when they put it together, 4) it is SUPER short but that feature and its arms are part of why I bought it. My bed sits lower than the ones in others’ review pictures AND a little dog can more easily jump in the bed now and the arms add a little barrier to prevent falls. 5) the storage is ample and the hinges seem to be pretty strong on the lid. I didnt try dragging it around by its lid or anything, but when I sit down on it there is no wiggling at all. It shuts snugly. You cant really tell its there. 6) its width is just a bit shorter than the end of a queen bed so it looks super cute there. 7) it comes with extra washers in case one of the legs needs balanced – again showing thoughtful customer care.TLDR: Low-priced fancy, adorable ottoman. Great craftmanship. Cute, wee little legs. Better than I expected. So glad I bought it!

First off I am Very pleased with the look, condition, and feel of this bench. The material was fitted nicely, the hinges and other parts worked properly, the storage space was nice and has room for blankets etc., the feel of the material of this bench was super soft. The height from the floor to the top of the sitting cushion is more like 14 1/2″. The comfort was fine. It has some padding, but it’s just not thick enough so you can feel the board a little when your sitting. And no, I’m not a heavy gal. I’m 135 lbs and 5′ 1″. The bench however is really short even with MY height. The reviews weren’t kidding when it says it was made for a child. It was too small for even me. I have bought some 8″ legs that are arriving today. This would bring the sitting height close to the height of a standard kitchen chair. I think once that is added I could have then given 5 stars. Not sure why the company doesn’t add 8″ legs since most have requested that it needs more height. Simple fix in making a great product.
