I am quite satisfied with this product! Lots of space for blu-rays which is what I bought it for. Once assembled it is perfect for what I wanted it for.The assembly instructions was difficult to follow ; albeit I had made an error in one of the first steps. When I finally figured out what I had done wrong; the process was straightforward but it took me a while to realize my error.Not the sturdiest product but in the end once affixed to the wall (with the bracket that is provided) ; this holds up quite well and is stable once in place. Very satisfied with the end product. Will likely buy another one once my collection requires it!

THIS IS TRASH.
First of all! where are the instructions!?! I had to set this up blindly.This is cheap bendable press board.the metal dowls they give you to hold the top and the middle together are the cheapest things i have ever seen in my life! turn them just a cm too far and they shatter! for the price I would expect something a lot more sturdy. This thing is like a 30 dollar shelf you would get a walmart. STRAIGHT UP GRABAGE.the only way you are getting security out of this shelf it to make new holes on one side, screw it to the wall and add a bracket to the back and hope to god your house is perfectly straight.The backing itself the nails are sooo small and the backing is so paper thin. it just comes right out of the back. POINTLESS. I DIDNT EVEN USE THE BACK.To make matters worse! when moving the board itself with the only one dowl that worked snapped the side out of the press board3 HOUR ASSEMEBLY, A LOT OF CURSING AND SWEARING, 10 OUT OF 10 DO NOT RECOMMEND WASTING YOUR TIME OR YOUR MONEY.If it didn’t break when assembling i would return it, but after reading reviews on the seller of this. I wouldn’t even waste my time attempting to get my money back. BUYER BEWARE

Good shelves!
I had previously ordered the largest unit and wanted to order it again, but it either wasn’t available or was discontinued, so I got the next largest size.On the good side, it JUST held all of my dvds. On the bad side, I had wanted more room for future dvds. It was also a bit flimsier then the other size, but shouldn’t topple over when the shelves are filled. On the plus size, it’s a bit shorter length wise which gives me more floor/wall space in my very small apartment. It also goes well with my larger size shelves which holds my cds – it is visually appealing and looks like a high library corner!

Have patience
Took quite awhile to assemble and make sure to use some carpentry glue to help with sturdiness. Over all works well for the money paid and can hold a lot of DVDs

Positive: When you open the box, the wood smells divine! Everything is numbered, the instructions are very basic except I kind of got stuck on #3 but thank heavens they have pictures and written instructions for everything. All I used was a Philipps screwdriver and hammer. It comes with anchors to adhere to wall but I used my own metal ones. I would highly recommend using some type of anchor so as not to have the display fall on a kids head! All these DVD’s are my kids, she loved it so much, that I’m going to purchase a third one. You can put the shelves any which way you want. I had so many shelves left over, maybe I will do a walkway in my back yard with the leftovers😂 This was easy for me to do, I thought I would go crazy looking at instructions, never ever have done this before, if I can put it together, anyone can 😆Negative: It was left on my porch and it is very heavy. I had to take each piece out to get it into the house. So if you live upstairs or in an apartment, start working your arms out, it’s very heavy! I’m 135 lbs, female and work out, this was a beast, no way I could pick up the entire box.It requires a lot of screwing in the pieces, so if you have wrist arthritis get someone to do it for you or buy an electric screwdriver. I’m very serious, you need to really screw tight or it won’t match up to pieces. Again bolt this cabinet to wall, so it doesn’t tip over on someone. Some of the pieces didn’t have extra in case you lost it, so place them in a bowl.

I don’t know what possesses people to try to do things the quick way when common sense dictates you take your time…I was expecting damage in shipping, but Amazon Shipping was great – the box (which is HEAVY) arrived in pristine condition.This is a decent media rack. Even the ones in fine furniture stores are made of particle board (check the product descriptions / construction details if you doubt this), so buy there if you want to spend way too much $$.I wrapped this media center with vinyl to get a different look / finish – well worth the effort.Just use a manual phillips screwdriver, a tack hammer and some common sense (DON’T BE A GORILLA WITH MDF BOARD) assembling this, READ and FOLLOW the directions, and you should have no problems putting this together.PUT THE ELECTRIC DRILL / SCREWDRIVER AWAY AND ASSEMBLE THIS BY HAND.
