Love it…
Exactly what I was looking for to store my DVDs. Very elegant looking and keeps the DVDs dust free when the doors are kept closed. Easy to put together. Very sturdy once things are stored inside. Keep in mind that the top shelf is NOT tall enough to store DVDs upright however I was aware of this before buying.

Joli petit meuble
Tout était intact dans la boîte. Assez facile à monter, faut être très attentif au plan.

Do not buy – itâs not strong enough to stand up. It will collapse
No structure. No reinforcement. Itâs absolute junk. Huge heavy box, impossible to return. Do not buy. Waste of materials.

Beautiful cabinet
Beautiful product. Very happy overall. Unfortunately there was some damage to the backing and a large deep scratch on one shelf. Also there were many live bugs in the box when I unpacked it.

This is a beautiful cabinet. Despite the negative reviews I decided to order it.It was a pain to assemble. The particle board this unit is made out of is not great, by this I mean the pre drilled holes with plastic plugs pull out so easily. Two of the Camâs (provided hardware) broke, there were no extras, I luckily found similar Camâs at Home Depot. Once the frame was assembled I was not at all confident in the stability of the unit. This cabinet took two people to stand up because when I tried to do it alone two of the side boards fell off and ripped out the plastic inserts the screws screw into. I ended up using wood glue to put them back in. After the backing, which yes seamed flimsy, was put on the unit became more stable. The shelves added stability and even more stability once the doors were added. I have no fear of the cabinet falling apart now at final assembly, and as the photo shows I have it rather full. I was nervous to lift the unit to put it in place in my home, so I just slid it on the floor. Overall if youâre handy and expect a few hiccups, I think you will be satisfied with the final product, but this is not an easy assembly process for a novice.

After reading reviews for an hour and a half the day before I purchased 2 of these for my DVD collection, not knowing what I would receive. So, there were a few positive reviews, but there was also a lot of negative reviews. Broken, busted, scratched and impossible to assemble. I was just hoping for the best because they looked nice, and they were just what I needed. I received them today and after reading the reviews concerning the Styrofoam, I had my vac ready. I opened the boxes on their ends and vacuumed each piece as I removed them. Nothing damaged, scratched or broken and I spent 45 minutes on each unit and never looked at the instructions. Guess I’ve did to many of these kinds of things. The first case held 400 DVD’s and I have about 200 more in the second case. I plan on ordering one more for future expansion. One more thing, they come with L braces to hook them to the wall to keep them from tipping over. Right now, mine are sitting nicely on my hardwood floors. Very satisfied!!12-23-2022 Update, just received and assembled a third cabinet. Was received in perfect condition.Very happy with the cabinets

This media cabinet was pretty easy to assemble but the sturdiness is in question. It is a little bit wobbly.

I was very wary of making this purchase because of all the bad reviews… bought I finally did decide to purchase it because it fits perfectly where I need it (Behind a closet door)Learn how to unbox items, I wish I took a before and after of my floor because this “giant mess/snowed in my living room” never happened, just need to learn how to unbox properly. The shipping box to beat up, very heavy, nothing broke insideThe way I built it was, complete the bottom cabinet with backing installed, then move to where you want the cabinets to live. Then put the face of cabinet against the wall, Install top cabinet, then the backing. It is now sturdy! Then turn it around, install shelves, install doors. Once I started loading up the bottom with DVDs the top started leaning away from wall, I had to install the bracket to hold against wall(I actually used 2 screws, one in wall, one on the top of cabinet, and 3 zipties to pull together) I highly recommend you use the bracket to secure to wall, it is sturdy but its small footprint would make it easy to topple. The instructions were not the clearest, but I figured them out. Pay very close attention to the seams(where boards come together) you can see one board is longer then other, then you can tell which side is front back, pay attention to the holes also, that will help assembly. But the finished product is very nice, I would buy again.

I cannot recommend that anyone buy this unit.Let me get the only positives out of the way first: it looks fairly attractive once it is assembled and bolted to your wall. Now for the negatives. First, the instructions are abysmally unclear. They also lead you to a dangerous situation in which the unit is unstable, and the cardboard backing cannot be safely attached without the product falling over, nor can the unit be laid flat on the floor to attach the back without the unit essentially snapping in half – the anchors for the locking cams pull right out of the bottom section because the top and bottom of the unit are supported by the floor, but the middle is not. I finally got the cardboard back on by stabilizing the unit against a wall. It should also be noted that this must be the only ready-to-assemble product in the world that uses screws instead of tacks to attach the cardboard backing – this is unnecessary and makes the assembly that much more tedious. As for material quality, it’s particleboard, as one would expect in this price range. The doors and sliding mechanism are of reasonable quality and work well. The overall unit is structurally unsound and very unstable. When stood upright in its final position against a wall, the unit is extremely unstable and prone to tipping over onto its face. I found that the included security screw was insufficient; I decided to use a 2-1/2″ screw to anchor the unit into a stud; in order to do this I also had to drill my own hole in the top of the unit to mount the included hardware to it.VERY IMPORTANT – If you expect to be able to store DVDs and Blu-Rays in this unit, the shelving capacity is **not** as advertised. There are 4 movable shelves included for each section (top and bottom), for presumably 5 shelf “spaces” in each section. However, if all 4 movable shelves are used, then there is *not* enough space to fit DVDs, or even Blu-Rays, upright on any given shelf. The maximum amount of DVD/BD storage you can get is by using only 3 of the movable shelves in each section; this gives you three 8-1/2″-tall shelves on which to place the DVD/BDs, and one remaining 5-3/4″ space in each section that is usable for… pretty much nothing. One additional, relatively minor note: the color is slightly darker than what appears in the photographs on Amazon.
