To be cautious i will add a support on each siderail to prevent splitting as i have seen in some other reviews, with out it feels like a very sturdy bed

Frame Cracked
Do not buy this bed if you’re looking for a piece with longevity.The support beams provided with the bed (flimsy 2x4s) cracked where the screw made contact within the first week. This was an easy fix, and we reinforced the centre with several 4x4s.Less than a year after purchase, the frame has cracked. For reference, I purchased a queen size and sleep in the bed alone.

I assembled the bed frame in one afternoon even after making some mistakes. I had to prop up the headboard side to screw in the base, which was relatively easy with a couple boxes without help from a second person. The frame is quite sturdy and stylish, and went along well with the wood tones of other manufacturers. Definitely recommended

Nice frame. Well designed and seems sturdy. Smooth corners and edges so you donât knock your shins or legs as you get in and out. Wood is good quality. Under-bed slats are plywood. Note that our mattress (Serta memory foam-no box spring) reached up higher on the headboard than the photos so only two are slats are showing. Also there is an odor, probably from the varnish, at first. It would have been a nice finish if the headboard screws had wood plugs.
Going Strong –
I would recommend the high headboard. It is no too high and looks proportional (we purchased the queen). It does not make any noise nor move around when in use. The color was a bit more orange that I wanted but overall it’s a solid choice for a quality bed at a price well below other similar beds (in comparison, we have a Burrow bed which is twice a much and the sturdiness feels the same). Quick shipping, well packaged, easy assembly.

Packaging was super, No pieces of nasty Styrofoam like most packages, just soft wrap, so clean up was easy. Came double or triple boxed so everything inside showed no damage. I am very pleased. Perfect height for a 6 foot person with a 12 inch thick mattress, the top of the mattress is about 26 inches tall off the floor.
