I was initially surprised by the number of parts required to put it together but the instructions followed logically and I was able to assemble it unassisted with only a hammer and screwdriver.

I really wanted the library style look in my basement to fill the space at the bottom of the stairs. I am so in love with how it turned out! Didnât take long to set up (with two people) came with wall anchors and created the perfect look. On top of that, one of the boards was a bit warped so I called and they had a new piece sent out to me in a few days! Amazing customer service. Very pleased with the look!

Okay for the price
The instructions weren’t the greatest, and getting the doors to hang properly was a pain in the butt. The quality is okay, but I can’t imagine this shelf lasting very long. They look good from far away. The backs are cheap and thin. I’d consider buying a different material for the backing for more sturdiness. I guess they’re okay for the price.

Itâs ok but IKEA is cheaper and better
I assembled this by myself with a hammer and a screwdriver. It took a couple hours. Itâs a cute look but cheap materials. You can get something nicer for less money at IKEA. Next time I will pay IKEAâs delivery charge.TIP: if you do buy this, donât tighten the locking screws on the upper part until after youâve got the two front facing trim pieces in place.

Product delivered 2days late, but intact (no damage), but yes, it is two person lift & assembly! Iâm glad I paid for delivery person to drop item inside of house versus outside the door. Very heavy product but looks to be good quality, and the assembly was pretty straightforward despite not having any parts labeled (would have saved about 15 min), but all in all I would recommend for anyone needing to fill this specific sized space (as I was). Nice cabinet doors and knobs make bookcase more finished/polished. I would buy again. Rubber mallet came in handy in addition to other tools required.

I purchased two of these bookcases to store all of our homeschool materials. They were easy to put together. My 11 year old nephew put them both together for me. They look exactly has I had expected. I did have a few problems with them though. When you buy something new you expect it to look perfect. No blemishes or imperfections especially the first day. Well, both bookcases had imperfections right out of the box. Not terribly noticeable imperfections but some none the less. Several pieces were scuffed. 4 to be exact. Also one of the hinges for the doors was bent considerably. My husband bent it back but it did effect the integrity of the hinge. It works for now.Overall, I like the bookcases. Would I purchase them againâ¦yes! They look more high-end than other bookcases I found without being thousands of dollars and they are TALL! That was a big selling point for me. Taller= more storage in a small space.

I absolutely love this bookcase!! I bought one back in the fall for my guest bedroom, it was easy to assemble, and I did it by myself (although I might suggest having someone help during certain steps). I liked it so much that I ended up buying another one for my living room. They are very sturdy and looks really nice.

These are well made and expensive looking bookshelves. We bought 2 so they could be put on both sides of our fireplace. Our Handyman said they were easy to assemble. He cut the trim to put them on the sides of the fireplace and they look built in.I did lots of research and purchased these because the shelves are adjustable and they have the cabinet for storage in the bottom. Love them.

Project came damaged. I just moved so I was desperately in need of storage but the boards were snapped when they arrived. Tried to glue back together. On top of this the product is extremely cheaply made and took many long hours to assemble (even with 2 people). There are nails and screws and plastic screws and wooden knubs used for assembly to make sure you have a lot of additional types of tools available. Contacted seller regarding a refund and never heard back. Do not recommend.
