Great value, Great Desk
You can do admin / School work and then pull the desk part up to an easel position, Easy to operate, as you pull you can stop it at whatever level you like, then to put back down simply extend it as far as it will go and it releases it back down to desk position. Quite high so you can fit a nice chair or stool Only complaint, but a minimal one, wish the storage drawers were on the outside as you can bump your knee on it. We are doing a quick modification ourselves and switching it to the outside. We had no trouble at all putting it together, found it very user friendly. My daughter loves this desk!

Good value. Good product.
Decent product for the price.Don’t buy if you’re tall. If you’re like 5’9 or below, height is good.If you’re like me and like building ikea stuff, you’ll have fun building this. Though make sure you have a Phillips head screwdriver, it wasn’t included. All-in-all, i had a lot of fun putting it together.Sturdy. Decent. Good value.Love the glass too!The only thing i didn’t like is the cheap plastic containers on the side… seems like something you’ll find at Dollarama… but hey, it does the job so what can i say. I can’t complain.

Good for a table
Assembly directions were easy to follow. A few screws were difficult to get threaded. The lift is a bit dangerous in my opinion…it doesn’t have a release handle…and there was a chip in the glass.I also decided against putting drawers and the “pen” holders…the drawers are just foldable canvas and the holders pop out of the rack too easily.

Good Quality
I like everything about this table. It is good quality and sturdy, very good instructions to assemble, all the parts were in the package with extra screws. It took awhile to assemble but I had no trouble doing it. I would recommend this table for sure and it is just the right size – not too big, nor too small.

Fairly nice for price…
We bought this for our daughter age 11 who is really getting into art. It’s good for a child I think, or casual artist. The tinted blue glass top is thick and over construction is OK. Metal frame bolted together. The side containers are cheap molded plastic, and the pop out from the frame quite easily. My biggest complaint is that the tilt mechanism for the top is very difficult to use. Especially to lower it. I definitely would say that a child cannot do it at all, and might even be dangerous a pinch-point for fingers, as the top is quite heavy. Instructions for its operation are non-existent.

Beautiful art desk
Really like this desk and it was easy to assemble. Only problems are the heaviness of the package and the huge amount of packing materials – but that’s because it is glass, I know. Didn’t add the little shelf on the front of the work area because I tend to work flat and I don’t worry about pencils flying off. Plus it would have bothered my arm PLENTY rubbing against it all of the time. Recommended…

Great Drafting Table & Computer Desk
Well made and looks great. The extra shipping/packing material protected the glass and steel parts. Fast and easy to assemble. Added a couple of washers to the bolts that attach the drawer support to the frame.

Easy to set up
I love this desk. It came exactly as described. It was so easy to put together and looks fab! I love how easy it is to lift the desk top and how it holds nicely in place.

So far so great! Retired commercial artist. This is a long one….. lolðWanted a large, high tilting drawing desk on wheels. I can sit in my favorite recliner and roll this drawing board right up to me! When I want to rest, I can put my feet up and NOT have to move it. Assembly is easy but READ manual, get out a Phillips head & don’t hurry. Not tinker toys. ð I didn’t attach the drawers, just a knee knocker for me, but I used the little black drawers themselves in organizing art supplies. It’s a VERY nice drawing desk. I’m very happy. FYI: It’s not blue tinted tempered glass it’s smoke but I don’t care.ðMy wish is that there was a PLAIN EXTRA EXTRA LARGE BOARD (no utensil holders and no drawers), maybe 5′ wide OR MORE… but larger drawing boards with stronger or double lift hardware. Hope this company is reading this and could create different ordering style options, different sizes, features, colors. I would love to have a board that could handle REALLY LARGE PIECES. Please consider, no one I know of offers style options, but always maintain product quality first as you have.)I HONESTLY don’t understand why there are any bad reviews. Everyone is different though and there’s shipping hazards the odd man in the equation.ðI’d order this again and again but….. would love larger, more choices, hate easels. lolHAPPY ARTING ALLð

I was searching all over for a replacement of a piece of wood I used that laid across my lap for editing videos and making YouTube videos; I almost spent 150$ on a nursing type table with but then I came across this drawing desk. It was way cheaper than the little nightstand on wheels I was going to purchase AND BIGGER!I relax when I work and I sit in my bobs recliner(see photo)So I took the risk and purchased this desk. After I purchased I was worried the desk was going to be too low that it can’t go over my arm rests AND I was worried the legs were not wide apart to fit the recliner between!I just finished building this thing, took about an hour alone but that’s also because I did some modifications to it.The first mod I did (which I HIGHLY SUGGEST NOT TO DO!) is that I took the middle bar that connect the left leg and right leg and I only screwed the top in, leaving the bottom loose and able to sway. I did this because obviously when I recline my legs would not be able to go under the desk. I let it loose/sway so when I’m not using it I place the bar back to its correct state, when I edit I push the bar up with my feet. Now with this mod i definitely noticed the legs where not as stable as the should be. As I was testing I suddenly notice one leg started really going crooked and bending the entire frame.Again this is why I DO NOT SUGGEST THIS MOD IF YOU PLAN TO BE MOVING IT ALOT!Please note my mod will remove the ability of having this desk tilt!I built it with all 4 wheels on… tested the desk and noticed it was a little too high for my comfort, so I resulted in removing 2 wheels, which now mad me desk on a slight tilt. The other mod I did was remove the basket from being under the desk, to be on the outside of the desk. All my mods I did not require to drill any new holes or anything like that.Cool table so far, 1 star off cause the threading on some holes were not complete and also the metal frame seems to be a bit flimsy.

I love love love this desk. VERY solid, came in perfect condition. Instructions could be a bit more descriptive in parts but it’s not hard to figure out. The glass is gorgeous and feels sturdy as does the bending arm. Most of the complaints on here are because you have to lift the desk all the way up to slide it back down. The thing most aren’t realizing is those bins on the side aren’t meant for permanent storage (that’s what the drawers are for) but rather use for current projects. And really even if it’s for current use and you have to slide your table back down it’s really easy to slide the bins out and then put it down.Truly for the price you get a high quality desk that any artist/drafter/crafter will love.

Very happy with this purchase. Fairly easy to assemble without help from others. I like the side trays but the two drawers are pretty small. Overall, a well made drafting or art/crafts table for small to medium size projects. Will be using it primarily for watercolor, acrylic and Chinese sumi painting projects and to hold most of my paints, inks, pencils and brushes. Good quality at a great price. Would recommend it to others.

Great table. Exactly what I was looking for. Although I gave 4 out of 5 stars (see below) I couldn’t be happier with this purchase.I was looking for a small-ish table for hobbies, crafting, drawing, etc. This table was about the size I was looking for and had similar styling to other furniture I have. It had decent reviews in Amazon and came in at a reasonable price. I ordered it, and wow. It was shipped from a nearby fulfillment center to my neighborhood post office overnight and was delivered with the mail the next day. Talk about service! The box looked intact for the most part. There was a small hole in one of the sides which turned out to be inconsequential, as the parts were adequately protected with ample pieces of styrofoam and cardboard. All the major metal part were bagged individually in plastic. The glass top and the wire and plastic trays and tray frames were boxed separately for added protection. The lift mechanism was wrapped in foam. The screws/bolts were vacuumed packed with an allen wrench and a small wrench. The locking and non-locking casters were also bagged separately, along with optional glides and the glass top’s “bumpers”. The caster bag also included a spare of each screw/bolt and a long sticker (the ruler that goes on the table top). I had no missing or damaged parts in my kit. I did find some cosmetic paint issues, but I may be painting the whole frame black anyway.Assembly was pretty straight forward. The instructions were adequate. It contains a detailed parts list. Fortunately, there are not a lot of parts. All metal and glass parts are numbered with stickers. Screws and bolts have letter assignments which are indicated on its vacuum packaging. When assembling pay attention to how the parts are laid out in the instructions. I had a couple of goofs, only to realize I had missed a detail in the layout and assembled it backwards or upside down. But it was easy to take apart and reassemble. I finished up in a little less than 30 minutes. Note, I installed the glides (carpet glides). I did not install the casters. Assembly was completed using the supplied allen wrench. Two metal screws (securing the glass top bumpers) required a phillips screwdriver (not supplied). So, no delivery issues. Easy to assemble, check. The lift mechanism works well. The pencil stop, the trays and the drawers add functionality. Check, check. It looks great. I like it.A couple of things to note with respect to using the table lifting mechanism. The table is not very heavy and can tilt towards you, if one tries and pull the glass top up instead of lifting it. This has the potential to dump everything off the table and out of the trays (as the table top tilts, the plastic trays on the sides remain normal to the top). Also, when tilting the table its center of gravity moves towards you, and the overall structure becomes less and less stable. Fortunately most of my applications do not require the top to tilt. But, I might think about adding some weight to the back legs to add stability, for added safety. Since this inherent instability within its operating range is a consequence of it’s design, I gave it 4 stars instead of 5.I took some pictures and will add them if I can figure out how to do that.
