The Scoot™ Mobile File is extremely functional and versatile with a contemporary look and steel construction. The cart is designed to accommodate letter or legal size folders and has additional pockets on either end for active files. Oversized swivel casters (two locking) provide mobility so you can easily slide the cart under a work-surface to open up valuable floor space.

I love this file cart. I have a home office, and was finding that I had miscellaneous folders and file boxes for various needs that were very annoying to access – not only were they stored in different places, but inevitably would end up underneath other more frequently used items in my closet. Enter the file cart! My biggest concern before I ordered was whether this would be too big and bulky in my office, but actually I could slide this under my table if I wanted to (I keep mine in the closet because I like a more streamlined look). The wheels roll great – I’ve got a rug in the office and that doesn’t get in the way when I have to roll over it between my table and the closet. I currently have about 50 file folders in there, some are “full” but more are not nearly stuffed full and this is proving to be a good size for my stuff. It’s great for frequent usage because I have all my files open and visible, and I can easily find and file items as needed. The quality is great – it’s extremely sturdy with no sign of flimsiness. This was a concern with other products I researched, especially ones that had two tiers. I didn’t want to worry about anything tipping over when drawers were opened, but personally I also love being able to see my whole filing system. Very happy with this.

1. This cart moves SO easily in any direction it is effortless, even when fully loaded !! (I am talking about wood floors – no carpets or rugs.)2. The space accommodates so many file folders, all completely accessible due to the open top, and they glide so easily on the rails !!3. I also love the outside pockets on each end – great for constantly referenced and most urgent “to-do” folders4. The bottom shelf can hold multiple stacked baskets and bins; I like that there are no rails so it is easy to load and unload any size basket, but you do have to take care not to make sudden starts or stops as the baskets can slip off onto the floor.5. I have 2 that park easily in the closet of the small bedroom we converted to an office, and I roll them out to the side of a desk (or reclining chair) as needed..

I purchased this scoot mobile file and it is absolutely great. I have organized my files to have more efficient access to my work. I have a small office and had small filing cabinets that had files for different programs all in different cabinets. I have gotten rid of the small filing cabinets and have set up the mobile file for different programs. When I need to work on a program, all I have to do is have the mobile file right beside my desk. When I am done with the program and have to work on another, I just put on away and bring over the next mobile file. the files are set up more efficiently and my office is now more organized. My office is not cluttered now with papers all over the place. And the cart was easy to put together.
