Dont understand the really negative reviews
I live on my computer. From work, to hobbies etc. This headrest is a pleasant surprise for anybody who spends a lot of time on the screens. It was easy to install, quite adjustable for several angles and highest however I do wish that the initial pivot could be raised higher but that is minor. It also looks great and blends well with the chair.I do think it is over priced myself. Yes Herman millers are expensive charis and mostly owned through businesses that pay big money for write offs.This price is quite steep for the work from home individual.Overall, I love it it and am glad I ordered it but feel it could priced better. Having said that, I still ordered it!

That Steelcase Leap reddit hack worked
I followed the reddit hack (you can go look for it) and it worked. I bought this unit (H4 classic, carbon) to use with my Steelcase Leap v2 Task chair. In the hack instructions, 24-inch (175lb tensile) cables and non-stick shelving material were suggested (which I bought at the dollar store). I put folded rectangles of the non-stick on every surface that the headrest touched the chair, then cable-zipped it firmly.It’s been a few weeks and I’ve had no problems. The headrest adjusts to my preferences with little effort, and it stays firm wherever I move it to.This might have been a good purchase for the Aeron as intended, but the reddit hack made this a great non-permanent purchase for the Steelcase Leap v2 Task.Worth every penny.

Considering how costly this item is – took me almost a year to approve this purchase for myself. And itâs worth it (chiropractor and osteopath will cost you way more in the long run). Seriously, if you get neck stiffness – try this. Due to how headrest bends – you can have your head supported throughout the day, my back head never leaves it.

Trash product. For $300+ I was expecting an actual functional headrestInstead, I got a headrest which has significantly less tension on the left side of the headrest, and after doing measurements, it’s actually angled by 7.5 degrees to the left as well, structurally.Waste of your money, buy the knockoff, or just don’t use a headrest. At the very least, don’t buy this one.

I have a Herman Miller Aeron Size A chair and even with the Allen key screw at it’s minimum it’s still loose a little so I had some pading betwwen the chair and the headrest and it’s now solid and no noise from movement.

While it seemed strange to spend about 10% of the Aeron chair’s lofty price for just a headrest I’m glad I did. This headrest has really improved my computer work productivity and body posture by keeping my head in alignment with the computer screens. It is very comfortable to now sit up perfectly straight while at my desk…previously I didn’t realize how much I was hunching forward, ruining my posture, and sometimes getting fatigued.It is easy to install this headrest (instructions are clear) and the product quality seems to match that of Herman Miller, including the Mineral color and fabric. My Aeron chair (purchased new in 2022) is the Remastered model which this headrest is intended for.Bottom line: If you have a recent-model Aeron chair this headrest is truly worth another 10%.
